I just realized that because ORAS are Gen VI games, that means that we can use Sinnoh Pokéballs (Dusk Balls and Quick Balls for example)!!! Do you think we’ll get them pre or post game?

Was thinking about Pokemon & stuff and realised that every type (except Dragon & Normal) are 4x effective against at least 1 pokemon
Maybe Gen VII will give us new moves that allow Dragon and Normal to be supereffective against other types, like how Freeze Dry is supereffective against water types, thus causing x4 damage to Swampert, Kingdra, and Swanna.

The footage was fine. Didn’t expect much considering the last remakes (AKA HGSS) only showed the protagonist trolling around New Bark Town. On a more positive note, the graphics look much better and I do hope ever so sincerely that Game Freak does some amazing things with the music.

LOL. I kinda feel bad when a pokémon’s stats have to be raised to be useable.
Use it with a team that focuses on type changing and it’ll be amazing. However, it’ll be restricted to double battles.
Not really, it works REALLY well in singles with aromatherapy and safeguard(if you time it right) and it has decent attacking stats for a mixed wall, it resists ground and electric which are very common types.
It’s a great pokemon that just requires some messing around with to perfect :3
Unless it gets some OP Ability like Poison Absorb (heals the user from Poison Type Attacks).
That’s actually a good ability. It’ll still get shut down by monsters such as Talonflame and Scizor.
There are ways, stealth rocks can shut down talonflame and fire types on their own just wall scizor

You know how Bulletproof makes the user immune to Ball and Bullet type moves? Well, there should be an ability that makes the user immune to Punch type attacks.

It wouldn’t make sense because the punch moves are pretty much physical contact, so your kinda stopping physical contact all around lol

I would boost its def and spc def by 40 and increase it’s attacking stats by 10 each meaning it can still be ran as a mixed attacker/wall which is meganiums most lovable quality
Why not make it grass ground, it’s an amazing type combo and grass fairy wouldn’t fit meganium because it isn’t a fairy or related to fairies and it’s a freaking dinosaur lawl

To be honest, albeit I’m so happy it happenend, I feel like most of the Fairies, were reclassified so they could be used more competitively.
Find a fairy type and you’ll find it ties back to fairy like creatures, mawile is a little more shocking but yeah lawl, I research a lot of pokemon origins
I was thinking of Mawile as an example of Fairies that don’t seem Fairy-like. To this day, I still think he/she looks like a Pure Normal Type. However, Mawile is the Deceiver Pokémon, so it sorta makes sense.
I’ll think about the origins more for the others.
Mawile is based on a Japanese myth of a stepmother who starved her stepsons and fed her own, their angry souls merged to the back of her head creating two mouths, they constantly want food and when they wasn’t fed they caused the woman intense pain and suffering
I knew this, but doesn’t seem very Fairylike, unless Japanese Myths are supposed to count as Fairy Tales.

It’s behavior is seen more as a gentle giant much like the Maiasaurar which is known as the Mother-Dino so it’s befitting for M-Meganium to gain the Fairy type.
Still ties no origin to fairy like creatures, just because it’s gentle doesn’t mean it should get fairy :p dragon type isn’t given out because they have scales, remember that Nintendo always have reasonings behind typings

Mega Dragonite would be so broken it isn’t even funny. Especially if it’s ability is Mold Breaker or something other than Multiscale. You Dragon Dance on the first turn, guaranteed Atk & Speed boost. Mega on the second turn and wreck havoc.

Yes, because people think they can revenge kill it will a special attack, then I live it and Drain Punch a decent amount of health back (occasionally KOing them unexpectedly)

There’s never been a Grass/Dragon or a Bug/Dragon type. Game Freak had three chances with Yanmega, Sceptile, and Serrperior. They let us down! :C
For other options, I can see Mega Sceptile being Grass/Fly with Aerilate. Mega Serperior Grass/Ground with Contrary.
I don’t see how sceptile can become grass flying, it uses blades not wings >,< if anything grass fighting/grass dark would fit(grass dark is an amazing typing combo btw)
Read the dex entry. “It agilely leaps about the jungle and uses the sharp leaves on its arms to strike its prey.” Jumping around the forset can evolve to being fly typed. Look Dodrio for example, it can’t fly but jumps high
Leaps from branches, and it strikes in a jungle, suggesting a dark undergrowth, if they do make it grass flying I’ll be made because it doesn’t get any moves to benefit from it other than arial ace and acrobatics, not to mention it just wouldn’t fit

Yeah, everyone thinks that we have had so many, but we have only had 2. Not more E4/Champion. It’s already prevalent there.
My thoery for ORAS is that we will not see the groundon/Kyogre mega’s until AFTER we beat the leuge. I think we will go to the next region(the region to the right of kalos) where it will NOT indroduce new pokemon but new mega’s. Because not EVERY region has to have new pokemon.
I highly doubt that, considering it’s been confirmed as remakes to Ruby and Sapphire.
But why not it as a add-on? it can be the after game.
Cause I personally think that would ruin it. Keep it to Hoenn, and then you have Gen 7. Also, Nintendo would have moar money.

It’s fine xD Plus Dark type in Japan is more associated with the evil of cheating/unfairness. It wouldn’t be that bad to have dark-type gyms. Plus America is sensitive, but I don’t think they would mind a dark-type gym if we have had dark-type E4 members without a problem.

Due to AP testings for the majority of my classes, I only have to do projects instead of formal tests for finals. (On all except 2 classes)

So I just went to serebii and say the 3 legends move pool. I think volcanion will be the best out of three. Diancie is a carbon copy ( pun intended) of Cabrink does the exact same thing. Hoopa only has ghost and psychic moves and it’s suppose to be a glass cannon BUT 70 speed is low.

Just read all that Hoopa info. The part about the disbandment of an organization really made me think about a Pokemon prequel again, but then there is the bit about its home which made me realize its very well suited for Mirage Tower / Mirage Island.

They could easily enhance Mirage Island & Mirage Tower for the remake. Mirage Tower currently only has two fossil’s in it, Hoopa’s home has rare findings its collected from over the years. This would be a pretty logical location for it to live. Although small chance cause of:
Kalos also has a desert, with an oasis, which is why I said another thing to consider would be a Pokemon prequel. I remember an NPC in kalos talking about a group that came around 3 years ago asking questions just like Team Flare. And then reading that story about disbandment of an organization made me really consider a prequel (Pokemon Zero). Anyways, here is Kalos Desert Oasis

But I do end up going back to Unova where I get trapped inside Wellspring cave and meet a Timid but very powerful Drilbur that couldn’t master Rock Slide, it causes a flood yadda yadda yadda rescuing/bonding i catch the Drilbur and he become my Partner next to Rhyperior

When Morimoto says they’re changing the battle environment in ORAS, what if that means move combinations in battle? Like the pledge moves, but instead of having two pokemon for it, it can be done with one.
If they were referring to move combo’s or tutors, I think they would’ve said they expect the battle scene to change, but he said environment. If he’s not referring to battling underwater (cause of the Dive HM), then maybe it’s something new like interact-able objects.
Not sure if you noticed, but in XY, if you stick around in a cave long enough, sometimes in the background of a horde you’ll notice a huge rock that stands out. If you use a wide attacking move like Surf/Earthquake to kill all 5 poke’s, it breaks the rock in the background finding a rare item. I found Luminous Moss this way.
Another thing he might have meant is the crappy online environment (the green digital stadium with the fake audience lol). Maybe they plan to change that to something cool looking.

But although I’m sure it will be the backgrounds of the battles, environment: 1 : the circumstances, objects, or conditions by which one is surrounded. Circumstances: a fact or condition connected with or relevant to an event or actions. Environment could mean different things.
I did notice those things. I found like four thunderstones while EV training off of Wingull and then a damp rock in a cave.

Yes! The battle environment change can refer to interactable object in the battle scene that are triggered by certain moves or combos. Rocks could fall in a cave, damaging both players, trees might drop fruit with recovery effects, etc… That would be Awesome
On beach/water routes waves can throw off accuracy! 😀

The new region may not necessarily have new pokes (Orre for example), but the storyline should cover the missing plot from X/Y. A different variety of pokes would be available in the game allowing gen 6 an even wider variety of available pokes without the need to use poke’transporter

Plus E4 in Sinnoh was always easy to me. Cynthia was a bit hard, but nothing that a good team couldn’t handle.

Platinum had brought be back into the world of Pokemon when I said I would leave.

I realize after watching it that that was more realistic of his character than in the book. But books will always be better than the movies 😉

I haven’t cancelled jade jungle. I’ve just been a bit inactive.
But Summer time is almost here and everyone will be out enjoying themselves. We haven’t heard progress on any of these fan games since like February-ish, and by time anyone considers picking back up on their games, ORAS will be released and everyone will be immersed in those.
I don’t see how its possible to complete these games by time ORAS releases.

I’m not super worried about those but I reallllllllllly really want them to add the Battle Frontier. It was my favorite part of the 3rd Generation and if they don’t then I’ll be pretty sad. All the games had contests and secret bases so they’ll have to add those or else it wouldn’t be a complete game but the battle frontier was only added in Emerald which means that they don’t necessarily need to include it in the remakes.
I have never seen a battle frontier as good as the one in Gen 3. I’m probably rambling right now but the battle frontier really meant a lot to me when I was a kid and still means a lot even now.

I swear after what had happened, every time they had a moment where Brambleclaw just ignores her, I totally yell at the book for Brambleclaw to get his sense together and for Squirrelflight to make it up in some way.
But I mostly yelled at Brambleclaw.
Bramblestar felt betrayed, and everything was a lie. He missed her, but felt like he couldn’t trust her again. What Squirrelflight went through was mainly her fault, but in the end, Bramble forgave her, after understanding what she did.
I understand that, but I still wanted Bramblestar (keep forgetting that…just reminds me of a certain cat who died D:)
to understand that earlier.
I just felt kind of sorry for her and wished he would understand and forgive her, because that is what she needed most.

I remember there was one part in the game (I think in the last secret level) where bosses (end of world, not mid bosses) start showing up and you one shot ALL of them. Absolute Epicness.

Well Lost and Found started out super easy and quick but then when you get to the 4th floor, you have to search the whole perimeter and it’s so much effort
God I know. But I figured out you don’t literally have to check every tile on the floor. Your character will look down onto the ground if there is one of the lost items nearby so as long as you’re careful it won’t take forever! If only I had known that sooner…
I’m think that the items appear on the right or left side only, not in the middle or the north/south corridors (but can’t be sure)

Sounds awesome but the only problem I see is that once you set up trick room and then use power trick, what if the opponent attacks you with a physical attack right after you switch your attack and defense? You’re basically dead but if that doesn’t happen it’d be sweet
You could maybe fill that fourth move slot with substitute if you’re about that I suppose..idk I’m not good at competitive battle

Give it a Focus Sash and put Protect in that final slot. Use Protect on turn 1 and set up Trick Room. Use Power Trick, and the opponent will use a move, bringing you down to 1 HP. Then sweep. But why do you need Gyro Ball in that first slot if you’re using Trick Room?

Bike (Super strong on the turns)
ATV (my favorite, good for curves and drifts)
And yes all triple items rotate around you (Bananas, Mushrooms and shells)
U can still hold items in the back to block items
The Wii U Pad can be used as a solid controller and or gyro steering wheel
At first i didn’t smash into people on zero-g but I quickly got the hand of it
and u shake the Wii U pad to perform tricks on ramps
and they’re blue nubs things on Zero-G areas that give speed boosts when rammed into
and finally the graphics
It was truly beautiful, you can see like ever hair on D.K’s Back
you can see the stitching in the gliders
and every scale on the Koopalings
Shake the Wii U Pad? Wow… isn’t there a button for that? Shaking the Wiimote was hard enough… now I have to shake that heavier object? 🙂

When will Sky Battles get introduced in the anime? Maybe Fletchling will evolve during a Sky Battle and then to a Talonflame when battling against Clemont or Ramos.

They’ve already had two episodes dedicated to them. One in AG and another in DP. In both episodes, Ash and James participated and could only use one Pokémon that can fly (James didn’t have one so he borrowed Jessie’s).
That was the Poke’Ringer contest not a formal Sky Battle.
It’s the anime. The pull things off before they’re even confirmed in the games. They’ve had many Sky Battles before they were even a thing. Another example is Dawn and Jessie’s “Sky Battle” with Dawn’s Togekiss against Jessie’s Yanmega.

They did rework things for B2W2, but the Old Tam Plasma was supposed to appear for two back-to-back episodes in the first season.
Mega Acts and the Anime at least take place in the same Universe.
They’re two different things technically because we don’t know if there’s a time gap and because of the minimal amount of information given, it’s hard to come up with a concrete theory as to whether everything that occurs in Pokemon is in the same Universe or Parallel Universes.
It’s the same universe because that one girl with the Chespin mentioned Ash and his stopping a Garchomp in Lumiose City, and Ayaka (the girl with the Mega Absol) is in the Diancie Movie.

I watched Destiny Deoxys the other day and I still don’t understand how once the power went out in the city they weren’t able to use their pokeballs. That just breaks so much continuity and makes everything in the pokemon world so much more complicated. Why would they do that? I guess the answer is because it’s the anime.

I once fought a guy named Pasha, who brought an OU team: W-Rotom, Crawdaunt, Aegislash, Heatran, Klefki, and (surprised me) Mega Latias. I brought Weezing, Whimsicott, Darmanitan, Reuniclus, Diggersby, and Starmie. I won 4-0. XD I admit I got lucky with critical hits in critical moments. I can’t post the battle record code because of Mega Latias preventing me.

Garchomp is another Pokemon that I find easy to take out. xD It’s really solid but it’s so overused that everyone knows how to counter it.
I love my shiny Weavile. It’s the Garchomp killer in most of my battles. XD Too fast and too cold.
