PokéJungle Tournament 2014 Dates
It’s been over a week since we last gave you all updates on the PokéJungle Tournament. When we published that last update we told ourselves that within two weeks of it being live we’d decide on a time period for the tournament to run.
Up until now we’ve only declared that’ll it would take place over summer. Today however, we can give you a slightly (and sadly only very slightly) narrower time frame: Mid-July through Mid-August. This period means the majority of competitors are able to easily arrange and partake in battle, thanks to summer break.
Within another two weeks from now we plan to have a firm start and finish date, as well as dates for individual round periods. We will also announce the final formats and layouts for each round in the next update; we’ve made some changes since we initially announced them!
Competitive Announcements
Sticking with the competitive side of news, yesterday a handful of Competitions were announced for International and Japanese territories, running over the course of the year.
Think Fast Competition: Single Battle — June 6th – June 8th
International Challenge June — Late June ‘14
Eevee Friendly Match* — July
All Star Battle* — July
Think Fast Competition: Double Battle — August
Fairy-Type Cup* — Fall
Halloween Party* — Fall
*Final names are currently unannounced.
For those taking part in the 2014 May International Challenge, battles have now begun and run until May 19th.

Well it started out as a Play as Pokemon RPG Tabletop fantasy idea but now i’m going to convert it into a big Fantasy Story adventure we can partake in

Kingdoms both ally and opposing (how about 6)

and Areas leading up to the kingdom (like forest trail-Desert flats-ect)
The Protagonists (Group)
Supporting Characters (Kings, merchants, helping characters, a “go-to guy”)
Antagonists (so far a Hydreigon)
A Plot
and anything else we can cram into it!
The world is dying… Pokémon are starting to lose their ability to use “moves.” To use moves, they require the natural energy around them, but it seems that mysterious energy is diminishing. Without such energy, and moves (you make a name for a generalization of moves), the world will regress back to a wild, survival of the fittest kind of world. There is still hope, however. Legend said it that should the world starts to decay, chosen heroes must seek the [items here] guarded by [names here]. But to use [item here], they must sacrifice something they love.
I was kinda aiming towards a “Fantasy” setting
It is fantasy, though. I just provide the plot. You can add elements to that to make the atmosphere more RPG like.

Alright Ziia i’m proposing that we all start a Pokemon Fantasy Themed Adventure to both do and Write
Its basically Mystery Dungeon mixed with D&D elements
We play as a Pokemon Hero an choose a Class and we try to stop the Dark Empire
Example I’ll be a Rhyperior Barbarian and TheHipster is a Delphox Mage
I could help design some hubs and such. But what’s D&D?

I doubt this’ll be an actual game mod more of a Pen and Paper Adventure
And D&D is well Dungeons and Dragons
Oh. I never heard about D&D. I thought this was going to be a straight up game. I would have suggested a Tactical Style game. It fits better with the theme!

So we need a name for the Good King’s Kingdom
(this’ll serve as the Hub for the quest)
The Good King is a Dragonite
his advisory is a Slowking and the Captain of the Guard is a Aegislash
And some kind of Sage is a Gardevoir
its the typical Pokemon Village ruled by a King in the castle
What’s the theme of the kingdom? Desert, oceanic, forest, etc…
Tradition states that it should be a Forestly clean and lively land
Bright green fields
Rivers and forests and sun shiny days
It’s more of the Farmers like of kingdom more of the boonies
Here’s a few I just made up:
Diosium, Melobia, Kyrana, Placus, Sellos, Lenona, Breiss, Aestus.

Sellos = stamps in spanish 😛
