  2. How much more waiting and I hope all the waiting is for something good. Not just the guy running around.

  3. When I first started playing Silver version, I ran into a shiny rapidash, very soon after a krabby, then a meowth, metapod, geodude, pichu magikarp shuckle and finally a shiny cyndaquil when I restarted my game… I thought they were common 0..0

        • …Wow. I have 80 Shinies myself, and I thought I had a pretty good collection! And of those Shinies, I am the OT for all of them but one- Flareon. And even then, I was there when my brother SR’d the Eevee (he gave it to me when he lost interest in Pokémon).

          • That’s good! Oh, I hate the idea of finding a Shiny before ever getting Poké Balls! That would suck so bad.

          • It was literally on the first route, using the last of my five provided Poke Balls XD Lucky and unlucky at the same time. I might train my Pidgey into a shiny Pidgeot one day.

          • That was really close! That sort of thing is exactly why I stock up on as many Poké Balls as I can as quickly as I can. The first Shiny I ever found was a Zigzagoon (not counting Red Gyarados, of course). This was after I had first received Poké Balls, long after that. Problem is, it was also immediately after I had used every single ball I had in a futile attempt to catch a wild Manectric. That experience taught me to stock up on Poké Balls ASAP.

  4. So after a LOT of thought and analyzing, I finally decided my team for Alpha Sapphire!

    Blaziken
    Plusle
    Armaldo
    Exploud
    Skarmory
    Tentacruel

    Thoughts? :DDDD

  7. I have a question to ask to anyone who has played the original games. What were the secret bases like?

    • Kind of a home away from home. A small hideout where you can put some stuff in (couches, dolls, TV, etc…). Personally, didn’t use it that much

    • Little rooms hidden in treetops/bushes/rock walls. You could decorate them with furniture, posters, rugs, floor mats, Pokémon dolls, all sorts of things. It was a really cool feature.

    • Basically Dolls everywhere
      The big tent thingy
Fissure Mats and all the other elements

It had holes covered by mats to access other areas

    • You can buy cool merchandise from the Lilycove Department store, like Pokémon Dolls, carpets, cardboard floors, TV etc (think of the items from Dream World/global link).

You then use Hidden Power TM on an open hole that you spot on a route, like a cave or tree or something, and it shows the little TM sequence where you break into the hole, and you can then decorate your own secret base. Back then, we had to use Link Cable to see our friend’s secret base. But with the technology today, we can use the friend codes from our 3DS allowing multiple Secret Base’s on our map
