April Fools’ is near upon us! The day the internet gets bombarded with weird Google inventions, when it’s dangerous to go pee and when there’s a non stop flood of fake Pokémon news.
And this is what we can talk about now. What’s your best (Pokémon related) April Fools’ joke? Where you ever fooled by a well drawn fake? And what are some of the lamest jokes you’ve seen, barely enough to put a faint smile on your face? Tell us about it!
Currently, news is still slow, but I heard from an insider we will see an announcement of some sort very soon so keep your eyes open! I’m extremely busy with school at the moment, seeing as this is the last week before spring break, but after that I will have some time to talk about PJM and do a feature article about all the fan games in the making!

I know I keep saying my same theory over and over again, but people should really look forward to Hoenn happening in 2015, whether it gets confirmed this year or not. Simply because its the 10th anniversary of Emerald next year, and the 20th anniversary of Pokemon in general, so they will want to celebrate next year BIG. When gold & silver reached their 10th year anniversary, we got HeartGold & SoulSilver.

I just hope whenever we do revisit Hoenn that we get a WW release again. I don’t want to have to sit and wait 3-6 months while Japanese gamers have fun with their Metagrossite.

Yup. They’d release a quick patch update that will make everything from Hoenn revisits compatible with XY.
Of course!!! That’s like saying “How can there possibly be compatibility between HGSS and DPPt or FRLG and RSE!”
It’s very likely that Nintendo will have compatibility between the games otherwise, it would just be stupidity on their part.
I think they’ll keep it this way. They did XY WW cause of leaks.
Small difference between Johto and Hoenn is that after the release of Ruby and Sapphire, fans weren’t able to transfer their Pokemon to their new games, so Nintendo remade Red and Blue but they didn’t remake Johto. On the 10th anniversary, Nintendo finally remade Gold and Silver but other than the fact it was the anniversary of the game, they needed to remake Johto beause for a lot of fans, it was the place they left their old Pokemon from Red, Blue, Gold, Silver and Crystal. I started during Ruby and Sapphire so I wouldn’t know but I would probably be pretty upset that I put a lot of work into training my Pokemon just to find out that I couldn’t use them in the new games. Gold and Silver got remakes because fans deserved it but even though Ruby, Sapphire and Emerald might bring back happy memories for some people, it pissed of about the same amount of people. But I will agree that if Nintendo wants to make a remake instead of sequel to X & Y or even a new Pokemon Ranger game, they should remake Hoenn but, then again, only time will tell what Nintendo will do next.
