Okay, here’s my theory:
Kalos is based on France, so the
region or mini-region next to it might be based off Germany. This region is
what the Kalosions were fighting in the war that AZ ended with the ultimate
weapon. The people in this region have discovered that the ultimate weapon uses
Xerneas/Yveltal’s power, and they have captured Zygarde (Notice how Terminus
Cave is very close to the right edge of the map) and they are trying to find a
way to make Zygarde more powerful (Megavolve it) , because they are planning to use it’s Aura
break ability to stop Xerneas or Yveltal. The team there is Team Frost, and the
want to finish what was started 3,000 years ago, and wipe Kalos off the map.
Sounds like a great theory.

This is a toughie… Um.. Fighting/Flying is the best, and yes, I know they are both weak to Ice, but are both Super Effective against it in their other types. So… Fighting/Flying 😀

You can’t breed down hacked abilities, like a Flame Body Weedle, but you ca breed IVs, and Nature, I think.

It will definitely be Germany. I can further add to it. The backpackers in Gen 5 dressed in the colors of the French flag.
-The backpackers in Gen 6 dress in the colors of the German flag, from head to toe, black, red, yellow.
-There is a random NPC that speaks German in the game (no matter what language you set your game in).
-Zygarde’s Mega ability will work like an inverse battle, where its dragon type will be super effective against Xerneas, and its Ground type will be super effective against Yveltal. This is why Inverse battle’s can only be done in the house in front of Terminus Cave, because Zygarde is underground is emitting that aura.
-It’s possible that Zygarde’s mega won’t come in the Germany region at all, its also coincidental and possible for it to come in the Hoenn revisit because its pokedex says it will reveal its secret power when the eco system corrupts. Kyogre and Groudon are the only two known pokemon said to destroy the eco system when they battle.

So you get your starter, as you head out to route one. Your mother stops you and hands you an egg she found. IDEA: When she was younger, she also was a Pokemon trainer. She stumbled upon the egg. However, the egg never hatched. She thought that maybe it would take a great trainer and great care to hatch the egg. So she hands it to you. Her son/daughter.
Now. I have no idea what this starter’s type should be. So long as it’s not grass, fire, or water. Feel free to design the alternative starter 😀

As i said before, 4th starter has never been done. You only obtain that ONE per game. Unless you breed it.

Since the starters are Grass/Fire/Water, and the next common thing to go to would be Electric, lets make the starter your mother gives you a New JJ Pokemon, that’s fairy typed, the unexpected. Its fairy typing and mythicalness can explain why it never hatched and waited for the right trainer or something.
I was thinking Electric as well because Yellow had Electric and Normal. Normal was always claimed. But fairy could work too, as there is a dearth of fairy pokemon.

I was just saying that electric is common, do something unexpected. If its going to be a 4th starter that was waiting for the right person to hatch that sounds like a mythical Pokemon or a psuedo introduced as a starter, that how could it be electric? lol. Electric is lousy. But it’s your game 🙂

I like the idea mentioned in the comments about the egg being the Pseudo. Maybe it can be an interesting typing such as Dark/Fairy, but Electric or Flying would probably be the most common for the egg since you get it right away.
I would suggest Electric/Fighting or Electric/Ghost and then Steel/Flying or Poison/Flying, but I do like Dark/Fairy

a lot of fan pokemon games I see get rid of the whole happiness evolution for espeon/umbreon, and make them evolve with a sun stone and moon stone respectively.. so that may be a bit confusing..
