News lately is… There is no news. Pokémon Bank releasing in Europe and North America has been the biggest bit of excitement in the Pokémon World for a long while. There’s no saying when we’ll actually receive some substantial news, but hey-ho you can all be happily transferring your eternal friend the Shiny Flygon over to your copy of X and Y.
The last JungleTalk came before Christmas, and even that seems so long ago! This next JT is for everyone to discuss Pokémon spin-offs. What was your favourite? How about your least favourite? If you could see anything in a future Pokémon spin-off, what would it be? It’s almost certain some of you have got some excellent ideas, so we want to hear them! If you’re feeling extra brave, what do you think the Pokkén could become? It’s obviously some sort of fighting game, but will it be more? Or was it simply Nintendo teasing us with a Wii U tech demo?

What on earth is 5 IV?
As in a Pokemon with 31 individual effort (IV) values in at least 5 of their stats.
How do I check these IV’s?
There is a Judge at Kiloude City’s Pokemon Center that will (sort of) tell you the IV. I suggest reading this page of Bulbapedia: http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Stats_judge

He was apparently getting death threats for ripping off Mario backgrounds, and, you know, the awful coding that made the game practically impossible to beat.
Although I don’t think that’s true, I think he just quit. That happens a lot, just Flappy Bird was so stupidly popular that everyone knows about it. Updating games is hard stuff and very time consuming.

Well…there’s a difference between incompetence and ‘be in this pixel or you lose’. Some games, like IWBTG, do that great because it keeps you on your toes, which is why I suggested it to try. This game just had lousy coding. But death threats is really excessive. I don’t think he meant for it to get so popular.

No but you’d expect it to work. I think people were expecting Nintendohard but not impossible mechanics, so he could have widening the acceptable pixels for bypassing death.

I think he said that he’s taking it off not because of legal issue by Nintendo, he’s taking it off because of the hate. I’ve seen people gotten really high score in that game. Practice make perfect.
Ya possibly, some people get obsessive or are just naturally amazing (someone beat IWBTG on impossible mode, which is the entire game of everything trying to kill you…without a single save point…even the creator said ‘holy crap really?’ in response). But then there are cheats to make the game easily winnable. xD
