News lately is… There is no news. Pokémon Bank releasing in Europe and North America has been the biggest bit of excitement in the Pokémon World for a long while. There’s no saying when we’ll actually receive some substantial news, but hey-ho you can all be happily transferring your eternal friend the Shiny Flygon over to your copy of X and Y.

The last JungleTalk came before Christmas, and even that seems so long ago! This next JT is for everyone to discuss Pokémon spin-offs. What was your favourite? How about your least favourite? If you could see anything in a future Pokémon spin-off, what would it be? It’s almost certain some of you have got some excellent ideas, so we want to hear them! If you’re feeling extra brave, what do you think the Pokkén could become? It’s obviously some sort of fighting game, but will it be more? Or was it simply Nintendo teasing us with a Wii U tech demo?

  1. Okay, so three things to discuss. Two related to article, one is off-topic.

    1.) Moving mentions transferring “your eternal friend the Shiny Flygon.” Chico, is he referring to you? xD

    2.) In terms of spin-offs, I haven’t played many in general. However, discussing speculation, I think the Pokken screenshot could become the next Colosseum/XD game for Wii U. For instance, he battle in the screenshot could be a demonstration of Mega Evolution in the game itself, which is why you use a Lucario against the Blaziken as a tutorial. This could take place in the main city of the game where the Professor (or whatever) grants you the Mega Ring. I think a Wii U Pokemon game would mix the handheld story with a Colosseum/XD feel. Not necessarily go out, get 8 badges, take down a criminal organization in process, and become champion. I think it could really expand and tell a deep and emotional story with it all. I believe they would keep Shadow Pokemon just to remind you that, hey, it’s a console Pokemon game. I do believe they would open up your options and catch other Pokemon outside of Shadow Pokemon BECAUSE, in this game, you can get EVERY SINGLE POKEMON. So, all the Legendaries would be Shadow Pokemon and incorporated into the main story and side missions, along with probably some starters being Shadow and so forth. That’s just my speculation and I would think it would be a lot of fun and sell Wii U like crazy.

    3.) If you guys could make a Pokemon, what animal(s) would you base it off of? Be specific AKA I would use a lion’s head with a zebra’s body, but give it wings and call it a Zelionagus or something.

  20. When to hear something terrible that i did in third grade (youdonthaveachoice)
    So there was a new kid in my grade
    and no one really talked to him
    and one day one of our snow forts collapsed on him
    and nobody knew what to do so we just ran away XD
    He was released by a janitor who heard him screaming

    we were terrible people :,D

  24. Battled a guy who used: KyuremB, Kyurem, Reshiram, Heatran, Darkrai & Giratina. Needless to say, he learned a lesson. What do you think?
