We don’t know the stats for the Lati Megas, so no one really knows what would be better. But honestly an item that boosts both Special Attack and Special Defence by 50% is gonna be hard to beat

iv checker in kiloude city. If he says outsanding potential overall or relatively surperior thats good. The amount of stats he mentions is the number like if he mentions every statits 6iv

Me and defensive noticed that its easier to breed shinies with crappy IV’s than it is to breed 5/6IV ones.
Even when the game decides to be kind and give me a shiny with good IV, I get a shiny Gastly with 5 IV, but it doesn’t have good IV in Special Attack. Jerk.
That’s what happened to my turtwig when I hatched it shiny, adamant, 4IV. but X in attack & sp atk, grrr lol

Yeh. But Attack is pretty much useless on a Poliwag so the other one is just as good.
Also the 6 IV will be useful for any future breeding required in that egg group (which means a perfect Horsea should be no problem)

You’ll have to save the stunky for the next game when they make new move tutors
or you can transfer an old stunky from gen 5 with the move… but it won’t have the pentagon so you won’t be able to use in tournies.
I tried breeding Gastro Acid (a move tutor move Oddish gets) onto oddish and it didn’t work.
Anyways.. gonna go pick up my bro from kindergarten and come back and hatch my eggs… GL guys.

What if nintendo starts releasing old pokemon games onto iphone and android, and made it so you can trade and battle with other people who own the phone version. I read that nintendo is looking into the mobile phone market since they fell so short of last years sale projections, and pokemon on the iphone would be really cool, but I would prefer porting old games, rather than making new ones, let the new ones stay on nintendos handheld!

Once you have maxed style, go to cafe introversion in Lumiose city. Mr. Bonding should be there to give you Hatching Power.

guys, so i was thinking about the 3 legendary pokemon that were not able to encounter yet (dance, water/fire one, and that other ghost minataur) i think that maybe in pokemon z, zygardes power will be activated and what if we witness the creation of 3 new pokemon, pokemon that haven’t been discover!! (this has never ever happen in a game so what if maybe it does in this one!! :D)
Zygrade is in sync with Kalos’s ecosystem and considering Diancee and Volcanion have something to do with that it seems plausible. Not sure about Hoopa though.

Argh, breeding for a female Sneasel with the IVs I want is infuriating!! This game hates me. If there’s a gender I specifically want, it gives the opposite, if the IVs are perfect for what I want, it gives it to me with the wrong nature if it’s the right gender.

I’m new to EVs, so could someone help me? I thought stats are supposed to rise after every 4 EVs gained. But when I battled 30 Frillish with my Krookodile holding a Macho Brace, it’s Sp.Def. stat only went up by 5. Krookodile’s level 44. Each Frillish was supposed to give me 2 EVs and I got 60 in all, so the stat should have risen by 12. I then tried this out with my Scraggy level 45 in HP. I battled a bunch of Stunfisk, while Scraggy was holding the Macho Brace. I got 4 EVs per Stunfisk, but my HP stat was rising by one only when I battled 3 Stunfisk. This is in Pokémon White. So what’s going on?
Make sure you double check everything.
And stats are only doubled in EV training with pokerus.
It was holding a Macho Brace. And I double checked. They didn’t raise up any levels while I was training them, so I could tell that easily. I noted the stats before I started training and after. My Krookodile’s defense stat was 79 before with 100 EVs, maxed with Vitamins, and 84 after with 160 EVs.

You’re really supposed to EV train a pokemon at lv1 for perfect results.
If you’re training a leveled pokemon you would have to level it up further to see results.
Try to finish EV training, then level the pokemon up.
You can always try again.

Even in Pokemon X for me, when I use a large Super Training bag, my stat increases by only 1, not 3 like usual. What am I doind wrong?

The way i think it works is that for every 4 EVs that Pokemon will have 1 more point in that stat at lvl 100.
i.e if a Pokemon has gained 252 EVs in a specific stat, it will have 252/4 = 63 more points in that stat when at lvl 100 than a Pokemon that doesn’t.
The changes will be not fully be visible unless the Pokemon is at lvl 100, but don’t worry the pokemon is still gaining the EVs and the stats are increasing.
