Nintendo reported their third straight loss to investors, and it seems as though they may be willing to seek new ways to make profit.
Satoru Iwata, Nintendo’s president, said he would continue to run the company and added, “We are thinking about a new business structure. Given the expansion of smart devices, we are naturally studying how smart devices can be used to grow the game-player business. It’s not as simple as enabling Mario to move on a smartphone.”
As iOS and Android devices have gained market traction and improved hardware, they’ve been seen as direct competitors to Nintendo’s handheld consoles. Mobile gaming applications often cost only a couple of dollars, much less than traditional handheld games.
The Pokémon Company has released some apps for mobile devices, including their 3D Pokédex and a Japan-exclusive simple rhythm game which tied into the trading card game, but they have never released other games.
We’ll have to watch Nintendo’s strategies closely. Would you like to see Mario, Zelda or Pokémon on your phone or tablet?

FEATURED THREAD: My assorted ideas for Gen 7 by Yellow Devil

Ok…got ya now
What role will the Mega Lati twins play in the anime? Will they have their own movie, or episode dedicated to themselves? Latias has yet to appear in the anime outside of her movie and Brock Special.
A sequel of Pokémon Heroes perhaps? It does take place in Alto Mare, which is based on Venice…in Europe! Kalos is based on France!
i need 2 leftovers and a tyranitarite to complete my team, willing to trade aggronite for tyranitarite for it whoever have more leftovers or lvl 90< pokemon with pickup could we trade:D?

Should I get the Zelda 3DS game case on Club Nintendo or keep my 400 coins for something in the future?
keep it
Good, that’s what I was planning on.
because it literally the same case with a diffenrt cover everytime not worth it
And the case I am using right now can hold 6 more games.
what is it
It’s my old DS case actually, but it’s really good. 24 game storage plus a pocket for the system (which can fit my 3DS XL), all in a hard shell. 😀
depends, do you really LOVE the case
I don’t need it, to be honest. I’ll wait for a good downloadable game or something.
imagine 1 month later, pokemon red/blue download 400 coins XD
Don’t fear! Chico is here! 😀
