Long ago, back in the year 2013, Samual (moving), Sam and I discussed our mutual love of gaming outside of Pokémon and talked about opening a site that covered all gaming news. Although I bought the domain in March of last year, I didn’t start working on it for several months. We opened up the forum to some members from Mt. Moon Community and our Facebook page (fan perks I guess) and got some initial feedback. Then I got busy again and we started covering news related to Pokémon X & Y. After that was over though… and our semester had finished… we began work again on the site. I had wanted to reveal this on the first of January, but we decided we wanted more time to fix things 🙂
What is Retry Level?
A community-centric gaming site
Although there are a lot of game news sites out there, I felt that they lacked a real sense of community integration. Over the years, PokéJungle (the site, not me) has really inspired me to focus on new media in a way which draws the reader in and makes them a part of the site they’re visiting. To this end we’ve created a gaming site which will (eventually) feature content hubs based on both news AND community threads. They will open in several weeks after we’ve had time to fill up the forum a little.
An independent unbiased source of news and commentary
There’s also the issue of independence which is an important one for me personally. I’m not a fan of sites which are run by large corporations and are driven by how much profit they can milk out of their media properties. I’m not interested in plastering ads on every inch of Retry Level and I want our team to be able to fairly review and comment on games without working about reprisal from advertisers. There have been several incidences on gaming sites in which a reviewer’s score has been called into question.
What are some cool features?
Steam integration
We’ve invested in some plugins which allow our members to login with their Steam IDs, as well as areas of the site on which you can view other gamers who are currently online and what they’re playing. Big plus for PC gamers (like myself).
Twitch integration
Game streaming has become a phenomenon. We allow our members to add their own streams so other members can watch and comment on them. Currently the PC and PlayStation 4 support Twitch streaming and the Xbox One will as well within several months.
News from your favorite PJN staffers!
If you like how we do things here, you’re going to love Retry Level as well 🙂 The tone is a bit more professional, but we’re definitely the same writers and with the same intense passion for Pokémon and gaming! A cool thing about Retry Level for us is that we’ll get to see some of our regular commenters here also post on our gaming site. Which will make us very happy 😀
We’re just getting started!
It’s true! So don’t hesitate to offer feedback! We’re guided by your opinions so be sure to share them. This is definitely an exciting time for us and we’re very happy to be branching out into the general gaming field. I hoping you all will support us and help Retry Level to become a successful gaming news site that rivals any of them currently out there. We can do it!
Thanks for all the support, not just in this endeavor, but also right here at PokéJungle. Without the experience of running this site and the encouragement of all my visitors I wouldn’t be who I am today. I really owe you all a lot and everyone here means so much to me. You guys are great!
<3 PJ

Doom desire is awesome in the anime http://static4.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20110215035829/pikafanon/images/b/ba/Jirachi_using_Doom_Desire.png but leaves a lot to be desired in the game.
if judgement gets a cool new animation, so should doom desire
i imagine it being like oblivion wing backwards.

Yep! Base 123 Attack and 95 Speed. It can also run a mixed set if needed.
For some odd reason ive always wanted a shiny kelceon and shiyn celebi. I think i have pmd fever
I have a shiny kecleon 😀
In x and y?
yep but u aint gettin it.,
i want the satisfaction of getting my own. I wont take pity gifts, i t must have my id 😀
the only difference in kecleon shiny form is the blue line
and its purple.

no es blue. i has one.
really? then why is there a purple one in mystery dungeon. MY WHOLE LIFE IS A LIE
why are there orange vileplumes with dark spots in the orange islands?
wait star bits is gone?
Sniff* yes
how?
for now. He didnt get banned, he’s just gone for now
no, he just signed off
is Relatively Superior 5IV?
nope 5iv it the amount of stats he mentions
OOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHH
Well this one has 3 IVs in Attack and both Defenses but has Lightning Rod
so they are all tied at somewhere above 20
Never could understand IVs
it means the majority of IVs are >20
Nope
Surperior means the highest are above 20
5IV is usually outstanding. Relatively Superior is 3-4IV in my experience.
If he lists the stats as being cant be beat, they are perfect. Also, they’re ok if not said bad stats.
Guys if i have a question
I am EV training in… attack
I find a shiny in a defense horde
When i faint those pokemon and catch the shiny will that affect my EV’s?
Yes it will unfortunately
D:
Just use some berries. Not a crisis
Yeah like Shiny Trapinch said, use a Qualot berry
Why has there been so much freaking drama in the Jungle recently? Can’t we all just get along? :/
Same. Sick of it all.
PokeJungle is a place for me to avoid life’s problems, not learn how to endure them. :l
^This.
I love you 🙂
And what is that supposed to mean?
IT MEANS I DONT LOVE YOU!
*Snaps hands in S formation*
*accepts love*

Don’t push this all on me. I am one angry person out of a group.
im not pushing u on it im just saying u were kinda part of this, Like me and SN
Okay, that I agree with. But me and Noivern can’t be the only ones willing to take action/ignore this internet troll.
i told u i cant be part of it since ill do something terrible wrong
Whatever dude. None of it matters anymore. :/
I was part of this too, I just remained reasonable when talking to him despite being mad at him.
I just choose to stay out of it :3

Would anyone want any of the hundreds of Rhyhorn calfs….
are they Earthen Warrior Decedents
well none died
maybe if you WT you’ll get a Rhyhorn
Pokerus goes away very fast in this game…
The effects still stay 🙂
Really 😀 yay
Yup 😀 You just can’t spread it anymore.
Wait, it does??!?!?! Cuz I get so mad when mine loses it, I think I have to S.T. it!
It does stay 😀 You just can’t infect other Pokemon.
As Jordin said, the effects stay. But if you have a pokemon with pokerus. Just spread it to a Poke that you dont need and box it. This way the PR virus remains in the pc for when you need to spread it again.

Sure. I have a close friend and his sister got hit by a car. She’s in ICU and recently had surgery for a swelling brain. Really sad, they’re a nice family.

GG! I know! And that crit on Clefable. I was planning to stall
i was hoping crit, that lucario wrecked most the team because the miss though.
M-Luke is kinda cheap to use because it does a lot of damage but its a good mon to use. I like your Slowbro 🙂
i was trying to heal slowbro to use against lucario
I saw that and to weaken it so you could use Ice Shard. Nice plan!
