The Pokémon Plus & Pokémon Minus Rumors

Although I’m covering this news story, it’s by popular demand. I don’t believe any of this and I highly recommend that you do not either.

The site DualPixels (which has since crashed) claimed to have gotten “information” from a leaker about Generation VII. They claim:

  • Two new games are codenamed Pokémon Plus & Pokémon Minus, could be final
  • The battle system is going to be re-worked completely and simplified
  • New region is based on Southeast Asia, may have islands
  • GameFreak is trying many new ideas out that they’ve been holding onto
  • “Three new starters with no names: Water evolves into Water/Steel and is a squat, teardrop shaped humanoid that has a jar filled with on its head as it evolves it grows taller and the jar bigger until it needs another set of arms to hold it on it’s head. Fire evolves into Fire/Fairy and is a tiny cute goat with fire blowing out of its horns, it’s horns and look evolves more menacing until it has curly ram like horns and a motorcycle hot-rod-like look. Grass evolves into a Grass/Electric and starts with a leap for a face with a nubby root as a body and evolves until it grows into an electric producing palm tree with each flower petal having a different face.”
  • “The main legendary for Pokemon Plus is a Shi Foo Lion-looking Psychic/Ground-type that has multiple faces, the Pokemon Minus legendary is a Ghost/Fairy type that has two dashes for eyes and is a hurricane-like appendages with many arms and hands.”
  • “The new “Team” villains are described as a bunch of “Sohei Zelots”-types who have discovered the player’s best friend as a reincarnation of a special type of person who only is alive every 100 years. They believe the old system where people were given a Pokemon egg and they stick to that Pokemon until they die and who’s function in society dictate what role that person is. They are against the “modern” trend of Pokemon Trainers and capturing multiple Pokemon and are making a holy pilgrimage to evoke the old Legendaries to turn everything back to normal. They keep the player away from their friend, saying the special one (who can do amazing things like mega evolve Pokemon without the use of a mega ring) only love is that of Pokemon and not people. It is planned to be reveal later that for the special one to fulfill their role in society they must be mortally sacrificed to awaken the legendaries.”

  1. You have to understand, Hoopa is not the only Pokemon in Lumiose. What about Heatran? NPC’s say they saw one… HEATRAN KILLS!? :O

  6. My theory:

    -The hex girls are sisters who went to the station and left the skiddos outside.
    Something happened so one of the sisters went for help and left the note on the chart.
    One of them died. One of them waited. Became paranoid.Waiting.
    The skiddo were forgotten, Abandoned.

    The one in the office building was the sister who died, by “You’re not the one” She was referring to her sister.

    They met at different places.

    The marill guy (At hotel Richissime) was romantically involved with the hex sister that died. Which is why he states “Oh my darling, where have you gone? Leaving dear Marill and me all alone..”

    So, What exactly happened at the station?

    My thoughts, The gang mugged and kidnapped/killed one of the hex sisters.
    Her boyfriend doesn’t know shes dead. Her sister is still waiting. The skiddo are still waiting.

    • His female companions do come back for a few episodes in the next series after their debut. Assuming this chain doesn’t break, this means that he’ll meet Iris again later on in the XY series.

    • Forgot to mention that when he was little, he in fact DID meet Serena in a forest at Professor Oak’s Summer Camp. Years later, they finally were reunited and she is currently travelling with him!

  19. Guys remember Pikachu is special. It reaches it’s peak of power whenever it has a technical difficulty. Remember when Pikachu One hit KO’ed Hoenn’s electric gym using only Pikachu? XD Give Pikachu a little shock and there you go, a legendary mouse.

  21. I want Pokemon Contests back in the anime so badly. Jessie was actually really good. May be as good or even better than Dawn if she really tried and had more Pokemon.
