Born again rapper Snoop Lion (also known as Snoop Dogg, or Snoopzilla) has released his new single and accompanying video Get Away. In a slightly odd move, the video features heavy references and throwback to Pokémon Red and Blue versions.

In the video a miniaturised Snoop walks—shuffles?—around a small town and eventually enters battle with a trainer known as Major Lazer. The animation itself gets the original GameBoy Pokémon game style down to a T, and it’s quite fun to relive the memories outside of the tiny, tiny GameBoy screen. Sort of. There’s not really a huge amount to say other than enjoy the music (if you’re in to that sort of stuff), and enjoy the accompanying animation!

  50. There is a rumor for the next PKMN games that came from Dual Pixels. It sounds very fake mostly because X & Y released this year! Many PKMN games take about 2 to 3 years to create. Take it with a grain of salt!

    GameFreak were one of the first development studios inside Nintendo to receive Alpha-Prototype hardware, now have been upgraded to the Beta-Prototype hardware above.

    Have a few areas marked out, TONS of concept art traveling between Pokemon Company and Nintendo Co Ltd.

    GameFreak plans to completely overhaul the basic systems of battle, simplifying the process.

    The development team is “going to put a lot of ideas they have wanted to do for years in this game”.

    Two versions already have code names, possibly final: Pokemon Plus and Pokemon Minus.

    Theme is “Old Tradition VS New Exploration”

    New region, no name yet, is based on South East Asia with one large peninsula and many smaller islands.

    Three new starters with no names: Water evolves into Water/Steel and is a squat, teardrop shaped humanoid that has a jar filled with on its head as it evolves it grows taller and the jar bigger until it needs another set of arms to hold it on it’s head. Fire evolves into Fire/Fairy and is a tiny cute goat with fire blowing out of its horns, it’s horns and look evolves more menacing until it has curly ram like horns and a motorcycle hot-rod-like look. Grass evolves into a Grass/Electric and starts with a leap for a face with a nubby root as a body and evolves until it grows into an electric producing palm tree with each flower petal having a different face.

    The main legendary for Pokemon Plus is a Shi Foo Lion-looking Psychic/Ground-type that has multiple faces, the Pokemon Minus legendary is a Ghost/Fairy type that has two dashes for eyes and is a hurricane-like appendages with many arms and hands.

    More traditional Pokemon-like gameplay will be on the Handheld controller while an all new gameplay aspect will be on the Terminal unit.

    The “Pokken Fighers” render that was teased was running on Alpha kits, Beta kits now have advance cell shading. Going for very detailed “living anime” look.

    The new “Team” villains are described as a bunch of “Sohei Zelots”-types who have discovered the player’s best friend as a reincarnation of a special type of person who only is alive every 100 years. They believe the old system where people were given a Pokemon egg and they stick to that Pokemon until they die and who’s function in society dictate what role that person is. They are against the “modern” trend of Pokemon Trainers and capturing multiple Pokemon and are making a holy pilgrimage to evoke the old Legendaries to turn everything back to normal. They keep the player away from their friend, saying the special one (who can do amazing things like mega evolve Pokemon without the use of a mega ring) only love is that of Pokemon and not people. It is planned to be reveal later that for the special one to fulfill their role in society they must be mortally sacrificed to awaken the legendaries.

    Routes connection the island together are water bridges but clumps of island are connected together by underwater tunnels.

    There is a “Stone Slowking” statue that is a parody of the Reclining Buddha at Wat Pho, Thailand.

    Many Pokemon from Hoenn and Sinnoh will make a return.

    Variety of Pokemon Gyms, one is a mail system that only uses flying types and focuses on sky battles. One only uses baby Pokemon, one is implied to be a real vampire and uses Ghost and Dark Pokemon. There is also a military like leader who uses Fire and Steel Pokemon.

    The island gameplay with Gym Leaders and the Elite Four island can be played entirely on the Handheld and can be blown up on the Terminal for home play.

    New Pokemon Type similar to Shinies, no details yet on how they work but I’ve been told they “change the game significantly”.

    The “Mainland” is an MMO-like environment that is exclusive to the Terminal and is shared by both versions.

    Players all over the world online can chat, trade, intermingle and experience new-updated story lines on the mainland.

    Pokemon Band is a new mechanic introduced to get people involved who do not battle, a co-operative experience where Pokemon dance and make music together to achieve the highest group score.

    Pokemon Bank are actual locations on the Mainland and Handheld areas where people can import past Pokemon, mainly from Pokemon X and Pokemon Y into the new game.

      • The more scientific term for Global Warming would be Climate Change. Global Warming is a temperature increase over time. That means temperature decrease as well. It’s hard to explain what it really does but here goes: Global Warming effects not only temperature but the isobaric atmosphere. So, if Global Warming were to effect EVERY country, the conclusion is either going to be a new ICE AGE or just plain Mars Earth. Why Ice Age you may ask. Because Global Warming effects temperature, climate, etc. This means the Ice Caps in the poles. When huge sums of them are released they create huge sums of water that have solid ice AND liquid water. This can create Arctic blasts that are like huge snow cyclones.

  77. It’s quite possible for a new Pokemon title to be released. Game Freak are workaholics and will do just about anything to improve their titles. Diamond and Pearl was already in work during the release of Ruby and Sapphire. Pokemon Black and White were already at work during the Sinnoh Era and X and Y were at work when Diamond and Pearl were at the finishing stage. To be exact, Game Freak might have multiple projects. Game Freak is one of the biggest sub-companies owned by Nintendo. They have many employees. Maybe they just finished the game. Maybe they already finished it but would like to stall it’s release. You never know what Game Freak will do.

  92. Im back! I’ve been wary about coming back, as i feel asleep, and let my brother use my laptop, which isnt in perfect condition, and i wake up to find my backspace key fucking missing. MISSING. its an old laptop, keys stick, so what does he do for a heavily used key that sticks on him. He pulls it the fuck off. What the hell bruh? And i finished my bank starters team, and it didn’t do so bad. And I was petting a stray cat yesterday, couldn’t keep him T.T and i nicknamed him. So, I wanted to emulate him in my X, but i cant find out how. He was a BIG kitty, so i wanted to use a big kitty to emulate him, but i dont know where i could get a nameable Entei or Raikou.

  162. Please don’t believe those rumors such as plus and minus. I know that it was confirmed fake, but be realistic in that, there’s no possible way all that information leaked before even the announcement of the game. Plus, we’re only 3 months removed from X and Y. It’ll be a while.

        • i like seel/dewgong too but that doesnt change that its name/design is pretty lacking XD a lot of kanto’s designs lacked but people didnt focus on that a whole lot when they were kids but they look at new ones to compare and their nostalgia gets in the way most of the time.

    • It’s a matter of game development, really. Gen 1 designs were simple, basic and sometimes unimaginative (Ratatta?). While gen 5 had very complex and unique designs, sometimes embellishments for the sake of it (Emboar, imo). So, it’s a matter of personal taste in the end.

  211. hey, just trying to find some info, does anyone have a problem friending people locally? for some reason whenever i try to locally friend someone our 3ds’s dont connect after we selected our icons on the find friends screen, it just buffers for a minute and then says it couldn’t connect to the other person on both 3ds’s. every other function of my 3ds works fine when it comes to wifi and internet, and its only happening on my 3ds, so is it something that i’m not aware of or a glitch of some sort?

The One thing about uncle grandpa I liked and was in only 1 episode.. was the one where the kid couldn’t fit his shirt, and UG taught him he shouldn’t feel bad about his weight… because Literally in Every kids show with humans or drawings even just all other types of media even for adults… when they tell people to be fit and healthy they always leave out the fact your being overweight isn’t a bad thing, they always tell you to lose weight then you will be better but that leaves kids and adults to thinking being overweight currently they are bad.. which Totally sucks!

    i hate windows 8 e_____e i can just be sitting there doing nothing on my computer and it resets, claiming there was an error. i just lost the picture i was working on because of it .__. why is it that this crap gets more errors than the old windows. at least if they did get errors, they didnt reset without asking.

    • I use Adamant myself and sometimes I feel that the damage is just exact for the +0 2 hit return to one shot some squishies. (Just a reference: I actually have 2 kangas, both adamant, the difference is one has fake out, sucker punch and brick break for doubles support and the other is the standard power-up punch set. I run max speed ev’s on the standard on and max hp ev’s on the support one.)

      • OK, I was going to do Adamant with Return, Power-Up Punch, Sucker Punch, and Aerial Ace, and I saw a lot on the GTS Jolly with 5IVs, and only one Adamant. Adamant was my original plan, but then I started doubting myself.

          • I think my “standard” Kanga had something similar but with Earthquake instead of Aerial Ace. Even if it hits only once, it’ll be better than repeatedly hitting non-flying rocks and steels with Power-up Punch. Also, Return with STAB is better than Aerial Ace in most cases. An alternative to Earthquake (or Aerial Ace) is Crunch, and this is specifically for beating flying or levitating ghosts that don’t attack at first.

          • The reason that I put on Aerial Ace was in case of going against a Fighting-type. Should I keep Sucker Punch?

          • Yeah, Kanga is usually not fast enough to handle many revenge switch-ins, so Sucker Punch is necessary.

            Ok I guess the problem with fighting types is that Sucker Punch does half damage to them, and you should be switching out rather than attempt Aerial Ace anyway, unless you know Kangaskhan is faster than the fighting-type.

            In which case the following calculation applies:

            Return has a base 102 power at max happiness. With Kanga’s STAB, it’s equivalent to 153 power.

            Aerial Ace has a base 60 power. At 2x super effective against fighting, it’ll be only at effective 120 power.

            This makes Return better than Aerial Ace in most cases except the occasional Breloom (which is slower, and gets one-shot by Parental Bond Return anyway unless it’s super defensive or Substitute) and Virizion (which is, I think, faster than Kanga anyway and it should not be Sucker Punched anyway) and the Double Team/Minimize user.

            What if you’re facing Lucario? Well, you should be using Power-up Punch or Earthquake on it over Return or Aerial Ace anyway.

  275. Alright everybody…I need some help. I’ve arranged an X & Y tournament for my college on Saturday where everybody has to use all Pokémon of the same type. My team is Normal, and Mega Kangaskhan is my star player. But I just found out that Mega Kangaskhan is banned and now I can’t use it.

    Does anybody have a HA Starly or Whismur with good nature/IVs? Please?
