News is coming in at an unbelievably slow pace lately, and we haven’t had any articles in the pipes for a little while so our activity has been fairly low. Regardless of that we thought it would be an excellent time to publish another JungleTalk. I actually copied the basic layout and structure of this article from an older one in which we asked you to discuss your predictions for the September issue of Corocoro and the English name for Ōrot. That was 64 days until X & Y was released globally, and it seems like such a long, long time ago!
In terms of X & Y those who already have the games are hopefully still enjoying everything they have to offer, and for those that don’t hopefully you’ll be picking them up over the festive holiday season! That brings us to the main purpose of this article… We want you to discuss your holiday plans. Do they involve Pokémon in anyway? Have you made any special arrangements?
If you haven’t made any plans then perhaps you’ve got some seasonal wishes you’d like to make? We’ve been asking our Twitter followers to tweet @pokejungle and use the hashtag #DearDelibird to share their wishes, if we get enough people on board we’ll make a post with out favourite wishes, so get tweeting, sharing and talking with others in the comments!

Yup yup. The game doesn’t directly tell you some things. Some moves have hidden effects such as scald which instantly thaws out any frozen pokemon.

Ok here I go! Alakazam missed shadow ball on the veterans Latios 3 times in a row. He had no accuracy drops or an accuracy hindering ability or item. At first I thought the Latios had bright powder attatched but after it knocked out Alakazam I switched into Mandibuzz and used knock off but it was holding a life orb. I’m having the same trouble with a Tangroth in the institute. Is this effecting anyone else?

The thing is I only get this problem on the “final round”. The Maison is pretty easy in my opinion apart from the moody Bibarels.
Hopefully next gen or game will have the Battle Frontier and or the PWT

Got a shiny Nidoran today! Gamefreak greatly improved its shiny coloration. It s no longer sewage green like previous generations.

I was just thinking.. Remember how the Pokemon games looked better graphics-wise towards the end of the DS’ life? I can only imagine how the future games will look like. I may be wrong, though.. They might’ve pushed the 3DS’ power. *cough* frame drops
I may be alone on this, but I liked the graphics of HGSS better than the 5th gen games. XY have by far, obviously, been the best for me. So beautiful. Can’t wait to see Hoenn reimagined in 3D 🙂

this is the first time I ever owned both versions of a generation as well. Can’t wait to get Celebi on my Y so I can finally set off for Route 4 lol.

Nah, it will probably be 1 more generation before Game Freak switch to the latest console, that is if it is made by then. A whole generation usually lasts 3 years.
