Corocoro Information
We know our readers are eagerly awaiting the latest issue of Corocoro and while there’s a little longer to wait, we thought we’d remind you of what you can expect this month… Rather than the usual few pages featuring new X & Y information, the issue this month will feature a separate booklet alongside the usual published pages.
The separate publication will contain information on new Pokémon and is said to feature a “newsflash” on Mega Pokémon. Somewhere in the issue the update type-chart for X & Y will also be published, meaning we will finally learn where Fairy-Type fits into the least of weaknesses, strengths and resistances!
We’re expecting all this information to hit around the 11/12 of this month, so keep your eyes on the site for what’s looking to be a huge X & Y scoop!
I like to go into thinks assuming I’ll be disappointed because if I AM disappointed I’m ready for it but if it turns out ok or well, it feels even better….Cheers to low expectations!

Oh im sure they will- before he was in the trailer with the movie but now its on tv they have to reveal him officially soon enough- definitely in the next corocoro im sure if not on smash.
I hope! Has this ever happened before? Where a Pokémon was in a game commercial and wasn’t revealed on Smash/ Pokémon Sunday or in Corocoro?
Yes, a few times- i think cofagrigus, excadrill and galvantula all debuted in a trailer and werent revealed until something like 2 corocoro’s later.
I’d rather they reveal the Alpaca and Treerie on the show instead of wasting a spot in CoroCoro.
Whether they reveal oorotto in the show or not it will still be in corocoro. As for the alpaca/llama that was an accidental reveal so it will most likely be in corocoro if not left til release.
Ok, I hope neither are revealed. We’ve seen them, we’ll know about them eventually. Let’s see some new Pokemon, like the starter evolutions 😀

Its unlikely but if its gonna happen it will be in this booklet. Im guessing the booklet is going to reveal quite a lot about the game… im thinking nothing dramatically new but it will expand and explain a lot. Im thinking we might find out the gym leader types of the ones that have been revealed and possibly the rumored fairy type leader since im sure there will be a page or two dedicated to the type, what with the type chart and everything. I think more will be revealed about team flare too and possibly information about your rivals as well as a few more pokemon and more info on mega evolutions. We might also get some more info on towns and city’s. So if there was ever a time they might give us the first stage of the starters it will be there and you never know- they might want to reveal there mega forms(if they have ones) so we may get the full evolutionary chain, you just never know.
My brain would explode if all that was revealed haha xD

I also can’t wait to finally learn the Fairy type chart.
I know that seems ike a lot but it actually would be quite realistic since its a booklet. I mean a page for the type chart, 1 or 2 pages on fairy types, 2 pages on gym leaders, 2 on team flare, 2 on your rivals, 2 pages of new pokemon, 2 of mega’s. Thats around 14 pages including the front cover… maybe a bit bigger than it will be but not completely unrealistic.

They’ve shown that X and Y trailer 3 or 4 times now…. please reveal Oorotto!

I’d bet that it’s not
I dunno, the fact that they appeared in a horde battle with a Sudowoodo suggests some sort of relation.
Oorotto’s name is completely different though, there is nothing about it’s name to suggest it’s in the same family. Go look at Bonsly and Sudowoodo’s Japanese names, the basis for the names are completely different. They are both Tree Based Pokemon, just like Tauros and Miltank are cow based Pokemon.
Since when do the names need to be similar in order for them to be related by evolution? Look, I’m not arguing that it can’t be just because they’re both tree-based, I’m just saying we can’t rule out some sort of evolutionary relation.
Well, when their basis entirely changes, there are red flags. Bonsly and Sudowoodo’s names are all based around lies, falsehood. Oorotto, in the translation attempts of it, I don’t think anything close to that has been in there, only the obvious rot. Pokemon names keep the same theme at the least, even if they change dramatically.
But Tauros and Miltank aren’t related either (only in fan theories).
I would want it to be an alternate form. Since Sudowoodo has good Defense and Attack, I would hope it has good Special attack and defense.
You see the amount of times they are showing it is making me wonder if they plan on just leaving it out there as an easter egg type reveal in the trailer.

Yes and no…its kind of a bonus. Like when you complete a game you might unlock a hidden trailer for the sequel or something. I mean when it was shown in the trailer at the end of the movie taht was definitely an easter agg but im thinking theyve maybe just decided to roll with it and reveal it but not actually reveal it if you knwo what i mean…but hold the phone what the hell was that in front of mewtwo’s mega evo!?!?!?

The general theory is that the Pokebeach leaker mistook Mega Mew for another Mewtwo form.

Going through all of my Pokemon games, gathering all of my most precious Pokemon to be transferred into a new future, nearly brings a tear to my eye. We are truly friends, even though they are just pixels. The cool thing is, I can keep all of those Pokemon in Pokemon Bank for multiple generations after X and Y, so they will be with me forever!
I’ve been doing the same! I found my Sceptile from Ruby! If only I still have my Swampert from Sapphire…

I’ve been going through games back to Diamond (I don’t have Gen three anymore… ='( ) And I ‘ve found an original Blaziken and Combusken and my Sceptile. No Swampert. I found some pokemon that a friend traded me last time we traded, 7th grade, no longer a huge fan. I’m transferring all the pokes I got during Gen three for sure, and making boxes of what I plan on moving so it doesn’t take take me forever to go through during the transfer.

You know, i feel so bad every time a new game is out.. because I empty it completely of pokes (losing items and such). And then I can’t even use fly xD I usually never go back to them, though..
Yeah. I feel bad though because I didn’t trade over all of the Pokemon I had. Just a select few. When I transfer its obvious that the adventure in the game is over, even if I start over. Unless something new is added or its remade, I don’t feel like going back and replaying it because the next game is going to have new unseen things.
I feel the exact same way about my Pokémon. I’ve had some of these Pokémon for a decade now!
Well, mine aren’t that old (I decided to keep my files indefinitely a couple years back) but I am keeping my first starter of Unova, my lv. 100 Samurott, my original bro! 😀
Same with my Emboar from Black. 🙂 But yeah, the oldest Pokémon I have is my level 100 Swampert, from when I first played Ruby version, on the file I started the day Ruby and Sapphire came out in the US.

Well I think they might explain why pokemon megaevolve. It obviously seems that it has something do with their DNA. But what puzzles me is what makes some pokemon megaevolve and some not? I guess that goes back to why some pokemon evolve and some don’t. But maybe every pokemon has the potential to megaevolve. Maybe every pokemon is going to get a megaevolution? (HA!)

It’s really the same with a lot of form changes. Deoxys in the movie switches between Normal, Attack, and Defense *no speed yet* when it wants, Arceus is literally using EVERY Plate at the same time, at least the ones it had, so with every plate it was quite literally invincible.

Guys, I think there was a revelation about sylveon´s base stats, being Sp Def 130, Sp Atk 110, HP 95, Atk 65, Spd 65 ,and 60 Def. since you can deduce it from what is said from the effort o meter part of http://www.pokemonxy.com/en-us/whats_new/super_training/ and this pic. This is knowing that eeveelutions all have 130, 110, 95, 65, 65, and 60 of base stats spreaded across their stats. If its the same with sylveon, it mighy be this 🙂

Well, this definitely confirms thing. We had seen some stuff that suggested high HP and Special Defense.. but the special attack actually surprises me, I thought it was seeming like it might have had a low one. Shame it’s so slow though.
I know!!! It´s super sad sylveon has low speed, im glad for the high spatk and spdef. I just didn’t want it to suffer the same disgrace as glaceon (my fav eeveelution and pokemon), they have great spatk, awesome type (love ice and fairy types), nice moves (probably), but bad speed, which does not exploit their potential :´( I still hope for sylveon to be useful competitively, and im sure it will be fun to use in game 🙂

Well it still has a really high special defense and good HP, and a very usuable special attack. So it could definitely come in and wall Special Attackers, forcing switches and threatening with really powerful hits. It just won’t be a sweeper at all. But, not all Pokemon have to be a sweeper.
True, it will definitely see some use, specially if they are immune Dragon attacks.. Coming in one of those two (SpAt or Dragon) using prediction. Let’s hope it gets a good recovery move.
Has fairy type been revealed to be special attackers? I suppose this should be obvious, but Pokemon has surprised me before.
If the type was introduced during the physical/special split, then yes, it would be special.
But if you mean will fairies only be loaded with special attacks in their movepool, no. They will also have physical fairy type attacks. An example is “Fairy Wind” and “Moonblast” being special fairy type moves, while “Geomancy” and “Drain Kiss” are physical fairy type moves.
Geomancy is allegedly the fairy type earthquake.
It hasn’t stated anywhere if those moves are special or physical, but I’ll take your word for it.
Despite the fact that fairy was introduced after the Physical/Special Split, I always thought of it as a Special Type. And now Sylveon’s stats confirm it.
That will mean more Physical attacks to deal with it.

Well, that’s nice that Pokemon Smash wasn’t a complete waste of time. Providing some intrigue, and that the Mega Mewtwo 2 may actually exist after all. And all but proving that we should be getting Starter Evolutions in Corocoro too, so something else to look forward to. Just hope University won’t be too heavy this week, I want to be able to eagerly scan for all news possible.

I’m starting to wonder if the reason Mewtwo’s voice in its new form is female is because that’s his “Y” Mega Evolution and there’s an alternate “X” form.
I thought I’ve heard it the other way around. Mainly because a Y would better symbolize a masculine evolution, as the Y chromosome is unique to males, while the X represent a female. Besides, that was a different Mewtwo anyway and had a female voice all the time, so it was probably just meant to be female, and the Mega Evolutions themselves aren’t really dependent too much on that.

I don’t really know. As for Ash, wouldn’t be the first Pokemon he forgot what it was. You could *maybe* argue it wasn’t the same Mewtwo, and thus he didn’t know it… but that doesn’t mean he shouldn’t be able to recognize it’s species.
Ash, learning about new species and making memories with them, then forgetting what they are and any memory made with the exception of a few, only having to resort to his Pokedex to remember since season 3, 2000.
in the English version mewtwo was male it was only when i watched the mewtwo awakening episode i saw she was a girl
The Mewtwo Awakening prologue never was aired in English yet. ANd other then that, they did show it having a different origin. On top of that, the original Mewtwo, from Mewtwo Strikes Back, was male in the japanese version as well. Bulbapedia also says it’s a seperate Mewtwo as well.

Unless the next stage(s) and mega evolution is revealed in Coro Coro, I’m sure it will just be information on the Kanto starters’ megas.
The thing speaking in the Kalos starter favor is they are saying this, whilst showing Chespin, Fenneken, and Froakie in action, and their pictures were the ones that were being shown before kawaii girl went kawaii. Plus, watching it, he starts talking about Mega Shinka, or Mega Evolution, presumably Starter in there somewhere too, I wouldn’t recognize that word, while they are being shown as well.
Probably… We’ll know more when Coro Coro reveals it because there is almost always a recap.
Normally I’d err on the side of caution, but at this point, getting to maybe see the starter evolutions finally *especially chespin* far outweighs that.
I’m just ready for more news… The Mega Kanto Starters were cool, but not enough to really make an impact. I’m not saying it wasn’t big news because it was, its just hard to want info and not be given but a little at a time.

It’s just a name I’ve used for years, based on something I’ve been working on. Not really anything to it. But Sable itself is a synonym for Darkness/Black, something like that. And given my affinity of Dark Type Pokemon, it seems appropriate enough.

Well, they had Mewtwo Mega Evolving, but blocked out the image of Mega Mewtwo before we could see it, and people looking surprised. If it was just the Mega mewtwo we’ve known about since March or so, then why hide it? Right now, we are thinking there might literally be as what was thought, and X and Y version of Mega Mewtwo.

Heh. You know, I had an idea for a Fire Starter once, following the whole Zodiac thing that the fire starters seemingly follow and it was one for a Lamb/Goat Pokemon. And it was designed that it would evolve into a Fire/Steel Ram, based somewhat off the concept of a Battering Ram. So, I just hope that it’s the kind of idea that someone at Gamefreak would hit upon too, and make use of it one way or another. Because a Fire/STeel Ram sounds like it could be cool.

Based on the preview where they cover up mewtwo mega evolving, I’m willing to bet the pokebeach rumour about it having 2 forms activated by items is now true. Mewtwo had two megas. Can’t wait for next week to see if that’s true

The ONLY discrepancy so far is that based on the game demoes, psychic does not resist Fairy, but Poison does. But, that’s extremely easily explained by balancing of the types. That means we should be expecting a Professor Patrice show up somewhere.
Which leads to to thinking that there is a professor for each area of Kalos: Coastal, Central, and Mountain Kalos.

Well, presumably. It isn’t ‘confirmed’ maybe, but there was this tumblr that was collecting information coming out from the demo, and according to it, Poison resists it. Same demos showed us that Fire resisted Fairy as well. At the least, Psychic not resisting Fairy should be entirely confirmed, as there were Exeggutor definitely running around, and it would be easy to see that it was doing normal damage. And having a chespin to test fairy on to show that grass takes normal damage from it too. But anyways.

It’s not the layout, because the old one had the same problems. It’s the enormous traffic increase combined with the fact that somewhere in the site there’s something that uses more resources than it should have.
Normally, the site was designed that all views were spread out, but when you have an article and everyone commenter is refreshing every five minutes, the hits per second goes up so high that the server says no, and shuts off in order to prevent data corruption.
It’s not to do with the layout change I’m afraid. Our host seems to be going through some kind of rebellious stage.

Yeah same here, I think that Heracross would be better with a normal evolution though rather than a Mega but almost all of that list fits with what I would like for Mega Evolutions.

Three reasons it’s fake
1.Kanto is in Kanji like the real Kanto that exists in Japan.
2.The title is unnatural, closer to a direct translation of an English concept.
3.Evolution in “Mega Evolution” uses Kanji, where as official it uses Katakana in order to make it an ambiguous concept for effect.

About the question mark over Mewtwo; After watching Smashs preview I’m pretty confident it’s another Mega form (Like the Pokebeach leak said). These two photos are of Mega Mewtwo ‘evolving’. The one on the left is the one we already know of whereas the one on the right is the one that was teased on Smash. The photo doesn’t do it justice and I tried to get as close as I could to the exact same frame but you can tell the outline is different. Watch a vid of Mewtwo mega-evolving and you can see at no time is the outline like the way it is on the right which leads me to believe this will be a new and different form which then leads me to believe Mewtwo may have a big part in X and Y’s story-line which has me super excited! XD

I don’t think it will be huge in the story, but rather it will be key in the Mega Evolution explanation, since there is no guarantee that a trainer will fully evolve their Kanto starter.

The one we have now looks nothing like Mew, and the official site says it shares a striking resemblance to Mewtwo. So I’d say the one we have is NOT the Mew-lookalike.

Prediction! Mewtwo new mega psychic fairy!
I’m thinking that the Mewtwo Megalution we have seen is different than all the other Megalutions. The Pokémon website says: “Only certain Pokémon, under certain conditions, can achieve Mega Evolution. One of those conditions is a special item called a Mega Stone.” This implies that the Mega Stone isn’t the only way Megalution can take place. My theory is that certain powerful Pokémon (like legendaries or maybe even just Mewtwo) are capable of Mega Evolving without a Mega Stone. They channel their own inner power in order to Mega Evolve. This makes sense because the Mewtwo in the Genesect film Mega Evolved without the Mega Stone/Mega Ring. Even in the demos, it states “An immense new power has arisen in Mewtwo”. This hints that the Megalution took place within Mewtwo, not through the Mega Stone/Mega Ring. I think the second Megalution of Mewtwo we haven’t seen yet will achieve Megalution through the Mega Stone/Mega Ring.

Not necessarily. It sounds more like talk about it’s newly discovered status, much like a new element. If they make Ruby/Sapphire Remakes/Sequels this generation, and thus, being compatible with X and Y, are Mega Evolutions going to be suddenly impossible in that game?

That’s why I said Sequels. That’s what I’m speculating more than remakes, because remakes would completely disregard what canon is in place, and the fact the later games have referenced the events of RSE to an extent. I just threw in Remakes to make it understandable what I was talking about.

If Mega-Evolution leaves the Pokemon world after the 6th generation, it honestly doesn’t matter how many Pokemon utilize it. If it was a permanent concept maybe, but not in the current situation.

Yeah for me, Sableye, Mawile, and Dunsparce were mandatory for evolution, but when Mawile got a Mega-Evolution instead, I assumed that all three would get one.

I know, it makes no sense. When you think about it, do Pokémon REALLY have a specific region they are from? For example, Porygon Z is an evolution of a Gen 2 Pokémon which is an evolution of a Gen 1 Pokémon.

I’m actually kind of happy because although 60 pokemon is not technically a huge number out of the 800 or so we may get this gen, its still a little weird that so many could mega evolve.
My opinion is, if Mega-Evolution was to become a scrapped concept in future Pokemon generations, why not splurge and give all of the most well-known additions their spotlight?

I almost had a heart attack seeing Mega Blaziken for the first time; it was like something out of my dreams.
It is my favorite Mega Evolution out of all of them! I just hope that changes with Mega Swampert 😉

It’s so crazy to think that not only will this generations starters fully evolve, but they might also get Mega Evolutions. I can take my partner even further than ever before and that is just so cool. My entire mindset on Mega Evolution has changed so much these past months and now I can’t wait for more.

You know, because of the second Mewtwo form likely being real, I think we are gonna also see dual type attacks, Espurr, and Meowstick as well. Those are the only things left that the Pokebeach leaker has mentioned that haven’t come true yet (along with the type chart, which was sorta off because Psychic types take neutral from Fairy). Can’t wait for this week!

The Pokebeach leaker hasn’t been wrong about anything yet other than a minor mix up with Psychic being neutral to Fairy and Sycamore and Patrice (Sycamore is the main Professor). I’d brace ourselves for the possibility. As much as I hate to see it happen. Lol.
Pokebeach said it could be like Camouflage and that the move just changes type under certain conditions. Seriously though, I think dual type attacks are gonna be confined to Mega Evolutions. Because Pokemon.com said that the Mega Evolutions are still shrouded in mystery.

We haven’t seen eye or nose of this “Patrice”. I think the name Patrice is for that lady on the Pokemon Global Link screen in the game that welcomes you. Surprised we don’t know her name yet. Sycamore is shown on the “Welcome to the World of Pokemon!” intro and he even says “I want you take another Pokemon with you!” when giving out the Kanto starters, suggesting he gave one of your friends the Kalos Starters to deliver like Bianca in Black 2 and White 2.
The player starts in Vaniville Town, he get his starter (not from Sycamore) and when he reach Lumiose City he get another one. (from Sycamore).

In battle, if you compare the damage dealt to the same pokemon when using Flareon’s Flamethrower and Fire Fang, they are about equal. But Flamethrower has 90/95 power, and Fire Fang has 70/75 power. If it had a physical Fire move that had a greater power than Fire Fang, it would become more usable, like the other Eeveelutions.
Flareon is the reason I want that attack. :p

And please don’t reply just saying its unlikely because sylveon has already been revealed, because i think the situations surrounding sylveon’s reveal were so unusual a Dragon eeveelution at the same time would have confused the hype for Fairy.

I actually adore Sylveon’s design and stats (although that low speed is a bit of a shame) and I will definitely have it on my team.

I just thought about this! A long while back, someone hacked the data of the official website for the 16th movie in Japan and found data for a file named “MewtwoX”. We can imply that this new form of Mewtwo will be “MewtwoY”. It makes sense now that I think about it as the current new form of Mewtwo has some feminine characteristics, as X is the dominant chromosome found in female organisms. While Y, is the dominant chromosome found in male organisms. Hope the new form of Mewtwo is more male like. Lol.

I did kind of forget about the whole MewtwoX thing attached to the image, probably thanks to the Mega Evolution revelation. Just a few more days…
On the Mega Evolution discussion, I just had a thought about other Mega Starters, and I thought about Mega Emboar. I’m probably one of the few people who actually kind of likes the thing, and I was examning what it is good at. Really High HP, it’s attacking stats are relatively good, gets some extremely powerful attacks, such as Head Smash, but it’s major shortcomings that make it worse than the other two being it’s low speed and weak defenses… It just occurred to me. Coupled with it’s extremely high HP, what would Mega Emboar be like if it’s defenses suddenly shot up, and now it was very physically and specially durable to go along with high hp? If that’s the case, Mega Emboar would actually give the Pokemon new life.
I would of liked Emboar better if it was on four legs and more like a real life pig. Game Freak kinda ripped us off by giving it Fighting as the secondary type, where as it could of been possibly Dark or Ground. Lol.
Oh yes, I know. And I wish it was something other than Fire/Fighting too. But, regardless, I liked it pretty much otherwise, and I’ve had some fun using it.
I never used it. Haha. It just never really struck me as impressive in terms of design… but that’s just me. I’ve seen other people who like using it as well. 🙂

That’s not asking too much! Companies like Xbox and PS now they play hardball. It’s not like they are asking for 5 a month. With one $20 E-Shop card you can use the service for 4 years! Just be glad Nintendo/Game Freak/Pokemon isn’t as greedy as the other major gaming companies!

I think they decided to make Mega Evolutions because they are optional. No one is ever happy so some people would hate an evolution for Absol and some people would like one. It’s for the best 🙂 They are really cool too!

As someone had mentioned earlier, what if Pokemon Smash! (or Corocoro) reveals the dual-typed attacks? Now hear me out, because this is what I think they mean:
A move of one type that deals damage of another type. Example, Some steam move is Water or Flying-type, but deals Fire-type damage. The possibilities are endless…
Oh and steamed veggies huehuehue!
I don’t like the idea of dual typed attacks too much… but hey anything can happen.

I want to see an ability if the opponent, (ice type opponent), makes physical contact with you then you have a 10 percent chance of getting frozen.
A ability for Fairy-type Pokemon that sometimes reverses damage from Dark-type Pokemon.

lockjaw:incenses the power of bite moves
fast pasted: incenses the power of priority moves but lowers there accuracy
There’s so many abilities that can be made possible! I just can’t wait! Cheek Pouches already sounds impressive with the fact that you eat a berry and you gain HP no matter what the berry is! Double up with the Oran Berries. Haha. That should be very fun!

Yes. We can have two dog Pokemon. One of the original Normal type line dog Pokemon like Lillipup and a special poodle evolution for Swirlix. 😀

First we have the original Mewtwo, made by Team Rocket *essentially* back when the Anime Started, who starred in Pokemon the First Movie: Mewtwo Strikes Back, and then the TV Special Mewtwo Returns, who was voiced by a male in it’s appearances, who also notably wiped the minds of Team Rocket of its existence, so they don’t even know about it anymore.
Then, for the Awakening Preview, and then the newest Pokemon movie, they introduced a new Mewtwo, who created it we aren’t sure, but they were in the process of trying to reacquire it, and then faced off against Genesect, and also showed off the Mega Mewtwo form*presumably the Mega Mewtwo X form, if it having two forms, which is likely, comes to pass* and this Mewtwo had the female voice. All there really is to it.

Are you talking about the voice actor? The voice actor for the old Mewtwo is a man, while the newer one is a woman. Also fun fact, the mew voice in Strikes Back is done by a guy.

Pokemon may never end in terms of show, games etc. But they have to stop making new pokemon at some point, don’t they? I mean can you imagine 15,435 Pokemon?? At least I hope they just round out, maybe at like 1000…and then the future could be about new developments and other games but yea, at least that’s what I think/hope
I think we may have about two or so more generations left (with about 100 pokemon each) to cap the total off at about 1000 pokemon.

I posted this earlier but I found a higher quality preview of smash’s “Mewtwo reveal” and it makes the difference much more more evident along with a surprising revelation! Either I’m hallucinating or the head of the new Mega-evo looks strikingly similar to Mew! 😀 It’s also much higher up which suggests it’s levitating like Mew! Whatever the case, the more I look into this the more hyped I’m getting for the upcoming week of reveals!

Hm.. Well, to be fair, Mega Mewtwo X, as I’ll be calling it for now, is floating too. But yeah, this does look higher set. Seems’s weird though that both Mega forms are going to be significantly smaller than standard Mewtwo, though. It’s higher, and seeing as it’s still mostly encapsulated in light, maybe it’ll turn out to be taller instead. *shrugs*

Well…Not necessarily. It reminds me heavily of a DBZ thing with Frieza/Buu. In that, the final form of those two villains are significantly smaller than their previous forms, but they are also basically pure concentrated power/evil.
I find it funny how in the promo Shokotan is expecting to see Mega Mewtwo only to see another Mega form XD Her reaction is so priceless! These forms seem to be centered around bringing out the power of your Pokemon through your bond so they are more powerful so that makes sense.
Well I had thought of it this way:
Mewtwo is a failed Mew clone, and it is bigger than Mew. So big=bad, and small=good. I guess the smaller the body, the closer it is to its original form.

Don’t want to be “that guy”, but the pics are taken at different points of the transformation. Sure, it’s only milliseconds between them, but the left one could easily end up being the right one. It’s a transformation, after all. Nothing is proven by now…
And don’t write something like “It has to be something new, why should they censor it?” I know that, but you never know what TrollFreak made.
I only hope that you don’t expect too much, for your own sake 😉 This way, you aren’t disappointed. Hope for the best, but expect the worst.
But looking at where the shadows are located (you can tell where they are in relation to eachother because the “shards” are in the same position), you can see that the new Mewtwo’s shadow is signicantly higher than the old one. It doesn’t confirm anything, but it’s extremely likely to be something new.
Also, the shapes are slightly different…
Trust me I have gone through the clips a MILLION times frame by frame trying to see if they’re similar and they are not. This is the absolute closest I could get the old mega to look like the new mega (Refresh to see pic). As you can see, it’s impossible to get the shadow of the head without the shadow of the body on the old mega bursting through the shell so I’m very very confident that this is new.

While I’m still skeptic about the possibility of a second Mega Mewtwo, this evidence certainly does make it seem more likely. So Pokémon can get more than one Mega-Evolution? I guess it does sort of make sense what with split-evolutions existing and all, but as of now I don’t like it. It makes Megas as a whole seem that much less special, I think.
The only thing left of the Pokebeach rumor has not come true is Espurr, Meowstick, and dual type attacks. Honestly am not surprised that dual type attacks could become a reality, considering we got Mega Evolutions. I’m a little worried about this. I hope it’s confined to Mega Evolutions. I have a feeling we are gonna see Espurr and Meowstick in a couple of days and that the new Pokemon won’t really be new and that it’ll be Oorotto, Espurr, Meowstick, and the new Pokemon from the Pokemon Direct. I hope there’s more. 🙁

Oh, I already knew this. I thought you were talking about the page discussing about “Grimmwood” and others.
They are very interesting, and I like some of what I read. However, it’s really descriptive and seems like theories to me. I’m taking them as rumors, for now. If they turn out to be true, then I will be happy with it. But if not, oh well. I don’t care much about the dual-type moves, it’s described as simple, but to me, they seem complex, too complex for a kid’s game. But that’s just me.
These games are for older audiences now (I believe PG13 or T for Teens) Take it with a grain of salt as they say.

So in the Nintendo Direct, Junichi Masuda said there would be 3 models of each Pokemon. Now as of Gen 5 that would be 2067 3D models to produce as well as the ones for Gen 6 Pokemon and Mega Evolution’s.

The color pallet is because the 3Ds is capable of more colors than the DS. I’m sure the 3rd design is the male/female form or the megalution. And then of course the shiny.

All I can say is, with all of these new features, updates, etc, GF is going to make X and Y a pair of very interesting, beautiful, and amazing games.
i do think that as well i think that with the caliber of game they are turning out to be GF is heading in the right direction with pokemon and we know that we can expect even better games from them in the future
Oh yes. It can only get better from here. Just think of how amazing future games will look once they get small details fixed. BW brought a huge change in plot, and I hope we get more like it.

I always felt that was because it was going for more of a REAL RPG like story. And that they weren’t *technically* the inconvenience most of the villains tend to be, that you barely know are even there, but a force that slowly is driving the plot, up until you get to the climatic final duel with N and the insane Ghetsis.

I’m excited for them to come, but when they do, I’m just going to beat it and have memories speculating with people that I’m going to miss. But the cycle will repeat. I’m pretty sure once the X an Y saga ends, probably with Z or the highly unlikely X2 and Y2, Hoenn remakes will come. Then either a new game or console. Once the 3DS goes obselete, I’m retiring as a trainer.
D: You can probably expect to see another 2-3 generations on the 3DS so you’re going to be a trainer for quite some time 😀

I would hope so. I told myself that BW would be my last. I was wrong. But by the time the 3DS goes out, I’ll either be: directing a high school show choir, arranging music for show choirs, a combination of the first two, or starting dental school/finishing dental school going into ortho school. I will miss it though…

Maybe every now and then, but with the plans I have… The future is very grim… I wonder what I’ll do with my Pokemon… Maybe if Nintendo makes a DS or handheld that projects the pokemon for the multiplayer battles… I would definitely continue!

Unless it’s a Dark Type Gym leader, not really. I generally like the characters in the games, but outside of that, I’d rather just focus on new Pokemon, as that’s what we spend more time interacting with.

I always love your questions, cause they require thinking and long answers xD That being said, I would like starter evos, maybe megas, Fairy type chart (cause we already know that’s there :D), maybe 1 or 2 gym leaders, some new pokemon, of course :D, more about Team Flare, and I think I would be satisfied :3. What I want to see implemented is having a Psychic and Fire gym (Please, GF….Please), Trick House (Duh, those were fun to solve :D), Some new typings (Dragon/Fairy oh yeah), One more eevevolutions (c’mon Dragon eevee! ^^) and development from the rivals/friends. It’s what made me like Silver and Hugh, they both developed into better people and more of your friends. That goes for the story, too. And kick-butt music that fits that story. That sad music in 5th gen just made me want to cry sometimes, and I always compliment PMD for their awesome stories and the music that helps deliver that story to completion. Well, I rambled too much…..but yeah, I have high hopes for this game 😀

When I was younger I wanted Umbreon and Espeon, but none of my friends knew how to get them. We thought that WAS how they evolved. Lol.
Well, if that were the case, I would think that would be because, traditionally speaking anyways, Moon Stone is more associated in a sense with Umbreon. As it very specifically evolves at night, was the first pokemon to learn Moonlight – Belmad beat me to it XD. I should probably try more succinct replies.

I’ve been RNGing shiny bred Pokemon on my HG for about 2 weeks now. It is much fun IMO and I just recently did Heracross as well. Purple is pretty on it. I have a adamant guts as well.
Cool! What do you do to check you got your target IV spread? Or do you just go for shines? I ask because I use Pokecheck to check my spread for 100% accuracy in White, but router will not let me access the GTS in any game prior to 5th Gen because only 5th Gen so far is compatible with a WAP security connection (I have tried to change to WEP but it seems it doesn’t work).
Maybe in the part of the little booklet with the type chart they will provide examples of a new fairy type, dragon type, and what ever type is super effective against it!
(If you don’t get what I mean, I mean a new fairy type to show off fairies, a new dragon type to show how fariy types are super effective against it, and a new one to show that faires take a lot of damage from it)
I hope they reveal all the Pokemon that have been retconned to fairy type in the little booklet. I’m praying Milotic becomes Water/Fairy

Awesome! Quilladin looks a lot better in-game. The official artwork doesn’t help it. I like how Braixen uses the stick as a wand. And Frogadier is a badazz.
Quilladin is the best of course. It was able to stay so cute in its evolution! Grass/Fighting it will be imo.

Hmm, interesting theory. I do feel like Team Plasma and Team Flare are somehow related in an unknown way, for some reason. It seems that their goals are approximately the same, as Flare wants a world of beauty, and N practically wanted a world where people and Pokemon could communicate. In a sense, they are the same, but at the same time, there are tons of differences.

It has been confirmed that Clemont and Bonnie will be Ash’s traveling companions for Kalos, which may or may not have been stated below. Why do you all think this is, and do you think any more will be joining Ash?
No I think that’s it…Serena I can understand, but not sure why Clemont and Bonnie are going, I guess because they are young and appeal to kids? I hope they are more likable than Iris and Cilan…
Remember, Max was a companion for a while as well, and May was a kid too, just more of a preteen. Clemont might be like Brock and Cilan, and Serena like Misty, May and Iris. Bonnie is probably temporary, like Max.
