The Official Pokémon Youtube Channel has just released a short new trailer regarding the new red “ExtremeSpeed” Genesect. The trailer features both a red Genesect and a normal coloured one flying through a city, with the red Genesect causing damage to the citys buildings. The narrator of the trailer goes on to say that “the 300 million year mystery [of Genesect] hidden under it’s red veil will be revealed!”
Another thing worth noting is the Drives they are holding. It looks like the red one is holding a Shock Drive, while the regular colored one is holding a Chill or Douse Drive. There is a possibilty that the Drives they’re holding are not the Drives mentioned above, or the ones in-game, but totally original ones, but we’ll find out soon enough.
Anyone else notice that Ash wasn’t with Cilan or Iris? I know that it’s just a teaser, but…

Hmm. Wild guess though, I’m thinking that the Red Genesect could possibly be a 6th gen Pokemon. What made me think of this idea is 1) how Zoroark could copy any kind of Pokemon and 2) the first 5th gen Pokemon they introduced is Zoroark.
Well, just a guess….
