IMPORTANT: For those of you who pre-ordered the game in Japanese and are planning to play it on an American DSi or DSi XL, you’re out of luck. It has now been confirmed that it is region locked and can only be played on Japanese DSi’s and DSi LL’s. ALLTHOUGH, you can still play them on your regular first gen DS or DS lite, so no worries.

Pokemon Info:

  • If you buy the Pokemon TCG “Starter Set” and register the code that is included you will be able to receive one of the Sinnoh starters!  Just like the Kanto starters they have new abilities as well!
  • The Victini Wifi event has officially started and will go until October 18th

Ability Info:

  • ‘Lightning Rod’ ability now has the added effect of raising special attack after being hit by an electric attack

Attack Info: (Remember to check out our TM/HM Page!)

  • TM47 – Ankle Sweep [Fighting, Physical / Power: 60 / Accuracy: 100% / PP20 / Lowers opponent’s speed]
  • TM67 – Get Even [Normal, Physical / Power: 70 / Accuracy: 100% / PP5 / If your ally was just knocked out last turn the base power increases]
  • TM76 – Bug Resistance [Bug, Special / Power: 30 / Accuracy: 100% / PP20 / Hits two opponents in double and triple battles and lowers special attack]
  • * TM page has been updated with Solar Beam, Rock Slide, and Poison Jab.  The last two may have changed slightly from GenIV but I have no specifics

Item Info:

  • Prof Araragi gives you a Lucky Egg

Character Info:

  • Detective Looker returns, codenamed ‘Handsome’.
  • When you go back to the Elite Four for a rematch, the Chapion is not Bell anymore it is now a guy called Adeku. His team is as Follows: Agirudaa, Buffalon, Kurimugan, Baibanira, Shubarugo, and Urugamosu. All his Pokemon are level 75 except for his Urugamosu
  • UPD3: Picture of trainer sprites added.

Misc Details:

  • You unlock the rest of the PC boxes after being upgraded to the National Dex, total of 24

P.S. (ozy takeover) Today’s the day guys!! It is now the official release date for Pokemon: Black and White! It’s been years in the making and months in waiting, but we all made it through! So give youselves a pat on the back! It’s been an honor giving you all this info over the past few months! Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to go play pokemon Black. 😀

  2. Can someone please post a link to download the hacked ROM if they are out already? I know that it’s pretty much illegal, but getting the game from Japan would cost me more than only that $60…. So, please help me. I want to put in on my R4. No, I never use cheats 😉

Random question, the base stat listings for the new Pokemon on Serebii and Pokebeach are different – the HP, Attack and Defence stats are the same, but the rest are different (although it seems to be what Serebii lists as Sp. Atk/Sp. Def/Speed, Pokebeach lists as Speed/Sp. Atk/Sp. Def but under the same order of stats as Serebii). Does anyone know which list is correct?

  4. Nintendo you did it again. Seems that you CANT GAIN EXPERIENCE in the game if you play roms. already tried on desmume, my tsutaja battled a lot of lil dogs and still lvl 5

        ALL DIFFERENT LOADING BARS. Why couldn’t they make one or two big ones to load what’s needed, instead of 50 berjillion smaller ones?

  8. I’m gonna cry because no ROM works 🙁 Not on a PC simulator, not on my DS and also they don’t give you exp 🙁 This is BS, I liked the style of Pokémon Diamond and Pearl more, there you could just download and play. But with the release of Platinum they changed it 🙁 It’s BS. 🙁 🙁 🙁

      • Yes I know, and I would do it if I wouldn’t be ONLY 15, my parents say: You have an R4 device, we bought it so you don’t have to buy game’s anymore, so you’ll have to do it with that. F-my parents.

      • How about me? I bought the game, but I won’t get it for 2+ weeks possibly. I don’t see anything wrong with me playing a rom until my game arrives. They’ve gotten my money already.

          • Well, I, too, think it’s awful to not have the rom by now. X3 I want to play more than just the first tiny bit! I’m so impatient!

            But I guess they’re doing their best to avoid losing money to roms… because it SO hurt their D/P sales. 😛

          • Ok, slightly other topic: I’m already searching through the sprites to look which Pokémon I really want (of course, I want them all :D) but at the sprite from Warubiaru I can really see Ash & Iris coming across one in the desert and Warubiaru is on a freaking rampage. That would definately be a Pokémon on my team 😀

    I read this and went “FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK….” then I remembered I had a DS lite…
