I was thinking something like the virus from Independence Day.
The only problem with Ononokusu being Kibago’s evolution is the intense difference in colour palettes and overall design. The only real similarities they share are the fangs/blades in their mouths and the overall body shape. Kiabgo would need a drastic change in his middle evolution to blend well with Ononokusu.
Wow, if someone’s going to do a fake screenshot, at least do the sprite well. >:V The legs are too skinny and the sprite itself is rather disproportioned and badly designed.
On a different note, the “new Pokemon” that PokExperto’s been showing look rather odd, but still believable. We’ve had crazy ones in the past, a Megamantadpole just adds to that. 😀
If you think that Kibago will be wearing an armour, that evolution makes perfect sense. And there are other similarities just look at triangle over Kibago’s head, also Ononokusu has this.

Well, Kurumiru is an oak silkworm with an oak leaf around his head so he’ll end up being an oak silkworm moth, so it won’t be a butterfly.
