Victini’s type was also revealed as Psychic/Fire (from that pic above). Its ability translates to Victory Star (jouri being victory, hoshi being star). Yeah :3 AND OMG WOW WOW WOW I want that caterpillar.
Also this blog post by GameFreak’s director seems to confirm the notion that Black and White will contain all new Pokemon without bringing back the oldies (until you get the National Dex).

I don’t think it’s a castle. I think it’s a restaurant. In his character bio, he’s called a “Pokemon Waiter,” and is wearing an apron. Aloe might be the head chef or something at the restaurant, ’cause she’s also got the apron like she’s some sort of cook.

I wonder, could Iris be a privileged child who lives there, with Dento and Aloe as her butler and cook/nanny respectively? If so, it would make sense in the anime as to why Dento travels with her, and Aloe would serve as the mother figure.
What purpose this would serve in the game, I have no clue. Perhaps some connection to N, or Team Plasma?
Regardless, it’s certainly intriguing. I’m sure we’ll find out more in CoroCoro.
On another note, yay, finally we get the regional bug! It looks so fuzzy and cute. I shall name him Weederpie, cos he -does- look a bit like the lovechild of Weedle and Caterpie, but not in a bad way.

I’m so hyped for this game now. Everything they keep revealing is just getting better and better. Now they’ve confirmed that the Isshu Dex is going to have no old pokemon in: I’m sold. Not that I don’t like the old ones, but having them absent is going to make the region and game feel more fresh imo. And it means there’s more room for LOADZA NEW POKEMUNS! 😀 I so hope there is 150 (or more) in this dex…
Is Corocoro going to officialy reveal these later this week? If they are that means we probably won’t be getting any other new pokemon, cos these were the only new images or something, weren’t they? D: 🙁

Ok, I’m not sure, but I think this comment about Isshu Dex having only new Pokemon proves the Pokedex rumor fake (the one that listed the end of Pokedex types)
Hear me out: They said there were 647 total. That would mean 154 Pokemon in the Fifth Generation total. According to this same rumor, the Isshu Dex has 150 Pokemon. Now we know from Masuda that the entire Isshu dex is 5th Gen Pokemon, that would make a total of only 4 Pokemon not in the Isshu Dex. Which could be true… except that they listed 11 Pokemon they said were not in the Isshu Dex. So it dosen’t add up.
Somebody could check me, because I really hope I’ve missed something and am wrong, cause I liked those rumors 🙁
We’ll have to see. They could pull more pokedex weird stuff on us like #000 for Victini. I think there were only 7 spots open and Victini took one of them, so 6 unaccounted for pokemon.

Those Pokedex rumors are probably false now. If Luvdisc isn’t in the Isshu Dex, that means the Luvdisc Evo has to be one of the last Pokemon in the National Pokedex. Was there a pure water near the end? I could have just forgot.

I’m glad that we’ll have all new pokemon. I think it’ll be a lot of fun that way. I love the new caterpillar. It blows Caterpie, Weedle and Wurmple out of the water, IMO. I hope it’s evos are equally awesome. And a psychic/fire typing for Victini kicks him up a notch in my book. I wasn’t fond of him when I first saw him, but he’s growing on me. Things just keep looking better and better for B/W. I’m soooooo stoked for them to come out.

Sooo, what does this mean for Mamanbou? Does he mean no unrelated old Pokemon, or is it going to be like Diamond and Pearl, which doesn’t have all their Pokemon in the regional Pokedex?
I think it will be pretty much like the Pearl/Diamond ‘dexes.
My guess would be either ‘all new’ means no evolution lines that don’t have a new pokemon in them, so that old pokemon that have new evolutions could be in, or that it’ll be post National Dex.
Or, you could find Luvdisc in the Dream World. Since it’s technically not IN the game it might not count for what he was saying.
