Many thanks to Filb.de for the high quality videos of the Best Wishes! preview and the Pokemon Black/White demo! Also, thanks to CBreeze5g and D-Wheel for the name fix and SnowyArticuno for the Gym mixup!
Hey everyone! It’s Daigo! I’m gonna be updating for Pokejungle on what goes on on this weeks Pokemon Sunday! You can check the live stream of Pokemon Sunday from his post here. And I’ll be keeping everyone up to tabs on what’s going on as it airs with information, pictures, and hopefully video. 🙂
If you guys find any videos on Youtube from this weeks episode showing any news, please post a link to them in the comments and I’ll include them in the post. I’ll of course give you the credit for finding it! 😉
Update: All the info I posted was just quick updates, below is a summary of what happened on Pokemon Sunday.
Okay so here’s all I got from this episode of Pokemon Sunday. We got a preview of the new series Best Wishes, and learn that Iris indeed has a Kibago with her. We got to see the anime versions of Pokabu, Mijumaru, and Tustaja. We also learn that Tsutaja still deserves the nickname Smugleaf. xP That and we get to see the new male trainer Dento, I think he might be involved in the newly mentioned Pokemon Musicals.
After that we got to look at the buses touring Japan that will feature the Pokemon Black/White demos. In the demo, the people from Pokemon Sunday controlled the female character, and had Mijumaru as their starter. They then battled Belle in a rainy town, Belle had a level 15 Pokabu, and was defeated handily at Mijumaru’s Shell Blade. After defeating her they headed North. Then they ran into a patch of grass and encountered a wild Shimama. After knocking it unconscious, they then run into Cheren, whose carrying two Pokemon, one being Tsutaja Then the battle commences. Then they walk through a log into a forest, and run into Professor Araragi. Then Pokemon Sunday stops it at that. 🙁
Other than that, Pokemon Sunday said they’d reveal new info on Victini next week. [SPP]
Thanks all for tuning in! I’ll try to add some higher quality photos as they surface! We’ll find out more probably from CoroCoro which should leak by the end of this week, hopefully earlier!
A question to all reading, what do you think of Iris and Dento?
P.S.-What is that guy in the red hat guarding? I think it might be the entrance to the Pokemon League. xD Never mind it seems to be a Gym that the player is denied entrance into.

Seeing as Mijumaru knows revenge, I think there’s a good chance it’ll become part fighting type (but then again… even Quilfish learns it).
He’s just had enough of the hate.
i’m glad to see that the zebar can be caught early in the game….i think
The building she’s refused entrance to is supposedly a Gym, or at least has a Gym Leader inside
Wow Japanese girls are HOT!
The Demo looks awesome and Iris is cool but the dude is weird i don’t like him he looks like the kid from Legend of raikou with the megainum
Yeah, it does look as though there’s a good chance of mijimaru being part fighting, with revenge and all, and that would be awesome!!!! Also helps with the rumors of the final evolutions earlier. The little bambi pokemon looks like the pre-evo of the “fake” pokemon, the sheep aparuka, and naoie – I so hope that thing is real, it’s got shadow tag! XD
Oh, and
Happyface out. 😀
If Mijumaru is part fighting I’m going to die! (Even though I’m going to get every starter because my friend and I are going to do the trade starter thingy) Wow that’s a mouthful! (or, a typeful whatever) 😛
I want to see the new outfit of Ash!!! it’s a pity they didn’t show it… xD
Yes they did, on the beta sheet
uhhh idda know what you’re talkin’ about ’cause they totally did in the beta sheet. xD
http://pokebeach.com/page/3
it’s pretty similar to the mal hero’s clothes..in fact it looks exactly the same. xD
Dent reminds me of Apollo justice from the Ace Attorney series… instant win <3
Iris is cool too, seeing as she's new and fresh. Though, the concept does feel like it was taken right out of the R/S chapters of PokeSpe, I loved those chapters so it's a'ok. xD
Hm… from what I can tell… No ash? YAYNESS!
well the anime character sheet that has had so far true info had ash in a new outfit in it…plus he’s the main character and they will probably never take him out. xD
sooo he’ll still be in there. 😀
why you hatin’ on ash? ;-;
Dent is awesome, I love the bow-tie, it’s about time the boys of the anime got some class. Iris looks waaaaaaaay more interesting than the past female characters of the show, and kibago is so cute!
Happyface out. 😀
I think new characters are great ! I love the wild attitude of Iris, maybe not a Dawn 2 finally… (Wow her Kibago goes in her hair ? Oo Like Zorua and Zoroark… Maybe she like a mom to Kibago ?)
And the guy…. Smexiness… :3
As you, it’s first time since 2nd season I want to rewatch the anime… Wow. Good old days. My fav episode is the first one. XD Pikachu I choose you ! But next to him goes the episode where we saw a stantler for the first time… I think it’s when Team Rocket get their Wobuffet
I own the first episode on video!!!!! XD
Did anyone else notice that the mijumaru in the demo was lv. 25 and female while the other two were lv.15 and male?!
@David – What’s your point with the levels?
I don’t know?! Just pointing it out
I think it’s just because it is the one owned by the actual player, therefore it was trained. And the genders seem to be a coincidence, but I could be wrong.
i think all the demos have you’re chosen starter being a higher level so people can easily defeat pokemon and go thorugh the demo quickly. :/
but i could be wrong.
i died laughing when kibago dived into iris’s hair (not really, it was just an lol moment)
i knew that big hair would have some purpose
she looks more interesting than past girls
having a dragon type companion and all
well it looks like she actually hasn’t “caught” her kibago but mor eof befriended it, unles the kibago is like pikachu.
but ya i think everyone chuckeled a little bit at kibago jumping into her hair. xD
thanks so much for sitting in paul’s place daigo~
and this demo gameplay…NARGHHHH clifff hangerrrrr D:<
The demo gameplay was definitely my favorite gameplay video so far, What about you guys???
same here!
dudee i wanna know why everyone was all like “UWOOOOOO!!!!!” after they met up with araragi. DX
where in isshu do u think it is? judging by belles lv 15 pokabu and the lv 10 shimama it looks like its pretty early on in the game. also why is the mijumaru lv 25 and not evolved? duz tht mean it duznt evolve till past 25 or the demo was set up like tht? also why didnt we get to see the heros 2 other pokemon? and duz pokabu evolve past 15? and one last thing tsutaja is 18 and hasnt evolved……..so was it set up like this or duz it not evolve till after 18?
like i said before, i think it’s just so the people who are playing the demo can go through the demo quickly so more people can play it. 😀
who do u think tht guy talking to the hero is? and what was that guy guarding? a gym? the pokemon league? a cave holding ledgendaries or important pokemon? what do u think?
wel form my limited japanese, i could tell the person said somehting like “oh! you seem strong, but the leader isn’t here” someting like that. 😀
so i guess it’s a gym..?
