PokExperto Stuff + Probable Fakemon (UPD3)

Hey Pokejunglers!

I know that some of you are wary of PokExperto (Judging by some comments) but, to be fair, they have given us some pretty legit information in the past when Diamond and Pearl was released. So, I’m making this post not only to show what PokeExperto has posted in the past few hours, but also to tell you guys that maybe we should give PokExperto a little more credit. 🙂

UPD: It seems to have quieted down a bit now, but still keep checking back every now and then for updates!

  • 511: Yanappu.
  • 512: Yanappu Evo, it will look just like Yanappu except bigger, more arrogant and it has a Elvis-like hair-do. It’s pure Grass.
  • 513: Baoppu. Fire Type monkey. Orange or red body (Hiro thinks it has an dark orange body whereas Mulker thinks it is red) with a flame-style hair and tail. It has a sleepy face.
  • 514: Baoppu Evo. Fire Type monkey. It is fatter than the Grass one, and seems confused. Its tail and hair has flames. Redorange color.
  • The monkey trio are believed not to be 3 split evolutions from a single pre-evo

UPD2: I noticed that the silouhette wasn’t entirely blacked out, so I put some white paint on it. Now you can kinda see a few details of the possible new Pokemon.

So with that, here’s what he has posted! As you can see, it’s just a silouhette. Remember they did have that cat Pokemon silouhette up last night before anybody even posted news about it so this could be real, but at the same time, there is still a HUGE chance that this is fake so don’t take this as being real until it’s CONFIRMED.

UPD3: Found this, it’s probably fake. It doesn’t really fit the the description that Molker gave us, (Not saying his info is 100% accurate) other then the fact that it looks very similar to Yanappu and also the resolution of the sprite doesn’t seem to match the background.

    495 Tsutarja,
    496-497 Tsutarja Evos, (Pure Grass type)
    498 Pokabu,
    499-500 Pokabu Evos, (Fire/Fighting type)
    501 Mijumaru,
    502-503 Mijumaru Evos (Pure Water type)
    504 Minezumi,
    505 Miruhoggu
    506: A small dog-like Pokemon. Probably a breed of the Shih Tzu race:
    507: Longer dog-like Pokémon, has same face but with mustache. Face and legs are golden, body is dark grey. Also a Normal type.
    508: A dog-like Pokémon, resembles an adult Shih Tzu but with longer body. Long mustache and black-to-grey body
    509: A cat-like Pokémon with a somewhat suspicious look. Dark Type.
    510: A panther Pokémon. Most of its body is purple, but legs, head and body marks are light brown. Dark type.
    511: Yanappu.
    512: Yanappu Evo, same design but bigger, with an Elvis forelock, more hair and arrogant pose. Also a pure Grass type.

    Guess we’ll find out if these are true or not in 10 days and 5 hours. ^_^

      • Well, I think it’s to do with that fact that Victini is #000 in the Isshu dex. Anyway, like Oz said, It’s Pokexperto we’re not sure how true this stuff is gonna be.

    • Honestly, the one thing that’s bugging me about this list (and I am very much basing this on previous Dex’s, so there’s no reason for me to be right at all really, but meh, I’m a traditionalist) is that Mamepato isn’t found earlier. I know that Taillow/Swellow is an example against this, but I dunno…it just seems weird to me I guess. Like everything, I’m just waiting for official confirmation before anything comes out.

      However, I have to say that I do like the sound of a Panther Dark-type Pokemon, because I love Dark types!

      • Yeah, know exactly what you mean. I’m the same. I was hoping to see Mame after the Panther bit……now I’m not to sure. The next bits up will probably be the other two monkeys and the evos, then hopefully Mame. If it isn’t, then I’m calling BS……

    • If it works out like the cat, he should have a fan-art of it available in a day or two. We might be able to decide whether it’s real or not then based on it’s design.

      • I believe he was only able to create and show the fanart since the cat had already been shown (the small and bad quality one).
        So I doubt this’ll be the case with the Panther too (at least anytime soon)

    • Is that the full silhouette? It looks like it’s getting cut off at the end. But anyways, it looks kind of like a fish of some sort. Dunno though. Fake until proven otherwise in my head.

        • The bottom portion of it would be much larger/rounder if it was a happiny. Also Happiny has a ball attaching the thing on it’s head to the top of it’s head. If it’s fake, he could have easily produced this silhouette from Happiny’s artwork though.

    • I’ve been saying this for months. xD Damn right!

      Also about Mamanbou not being Luvdisc evo. My original basis was the way that CoroCoro reported. They always make big deals of evolutions and dedicated whopping great pictures and info about it. Not this time!

      If PokeExperto’s dex numbers are real then it is without a doubt true that there will be no new evolutions.

    • If they turn out to be real, I don’t see how anyone could not accept their appearances. Go look for fanart of Mijumaru3 on Deviantart, it actually looks great in different poses.

  24. Seriously guys. Do you think a serious website would inform by Twitter about 100 or more fake Pokemon?

    Use the logic. What would be the point of doing that? Losing all the credibility and supporters?

    The information Melkor is posting is REAL.

    • As I’ve said before: Martijn had the community believing him for a while. It is possible that Melkor has a source feeding him bogus information. Or that he’ll claim that if his info turns out to be fake.

      But I don’t know anymore, I think I’m just gonna ignore pokemon news until the 18th.

    • someone said earlier that they had the silhouette up before any of the main sites discovered the cat in the video, however the video itself was already available at the time.

    • He’s probably got the whole list of pokemon. And it’s what….. ten days till game is released…. If he leaks a handfull a day, then he’ll have them all up before the game is released. That’s what I think he’s doing talking about a few at a time so people can talk about them…

  38. That silhouette looks a lot like the image of a Pokemon that was revealed through leaked images of that demo in Japan (where Hatoopoh was revealed).

          • my guess is that he has a rom of the game already. He isnt posting a load of information at once because in reality, he hasnt made it that far into the game yet. He is probably leaking the information as he gets it in his pokedex in-game.

          • Ok, i get your point. All I’m saying is though that if he manages to get a rom of the game already why can’t he just share that instead off the info.

I mean, why would he give out the supposed rom and let everyone find out things for themselves when he could just do as he is doing and have hundreds of visitors to his site and twitter waiting and relying on him for their news fix. Sense of power ? idk really. Different people would do different things

          • Secondly, he’s probably not allowed to share the ROM. If it was given to him via a contact. They won’t trust him with it again…..

          • yeah that too. Iv looked everywhere and cant find anything other than Pokemon Black and White JP ROM which is actually SoulSilver lol. If he does have a rom it must be from a source and not a separate unnoticed leak.

          • Although saying that, if he has a game ROM, I’m surprised he hasn’t given info about the gyms….at least what pokemon they use…..

    • If anyone believes that picture is real they need to be slapped across the face a couple of times. I’ve never seen such a horrendous fake in all my life. It’s like they didn’t even try to make something remotely believable.

  46. so umm the info on the three monkeys, two names where repeated as well as types, i feel like the info might need to be edited. it list the same name and type for the monkeys and then different dex numbers with different discriptions.

  47. The silouette is a fanart. It belongs to that Pokemon we could see running in a house together with Chillarmy. Pokexperto will describe first the two water monkeys, and then, as it is the turn of that Pokémon, it will be revealed.

    Some more interesting things they revealed in the comments are:

    – Kibago and his evolution/s are Dragon type only.
    – Emonga and Tabunne has NO prevo and evo.
    – There are two fossils, a bird and a turtle.
    – There are less legendary Pokémon than in the 4th generation.

  48. So Serebii and WPM have apparently spoke to Pokexperto, and have confirmed his source/info and believe it all? Yet they aren’t posting any of this as news on their site… why? If they believe him surely new pokemon and dex numbers are big news worthy of posting.

    Doesn’t add up imo.

    • I think they’re taking a ‘wait and see’ attitude. Even if he’s 100% legit, and every single thing he posts is 100% true, there’s been a LOT of backdraft on the internet. Serebii & WPM don’t want to get caught up in the mess, imo. Once something happens to confirm a couple of Experto’s things, THEN they’ll post.

      • They were keen to say the starter evolutions are real as soon as they got the source to confirm them, without any worries about getting caught in a mess. If the source is trusted on one thing, I can’t see why they are taking a ‘wait and see’ attitude, cos that basically implies they don’t trust it. Either they trust it and believe/post everything it says as real, or they don’t post anything it says at all. It just looks very sketchy to me that they haven’t posted any of this new ‘info’.

      • I mean the pokemons that we haven’t seen yet and we haven’t known about their names like Yanappu’s evo, that’s why we call it that way because we don’t know its’ name however he should know.

          • It’s not that fishy. If he indeed got a rom from a ‘source,’ then he was given guidelines of how much he could post online, fo sho. He probably had to sign NDAs he can’t go back on until something is officially released/about to be officially released.

  52. Random Anon here, just thought I’d stop by and throw in my two cents.

    In our one and only screen with Hiyappu in it, the blue monkey looks (to me, at least) like it has a lotus bud on its head.

    Just throwing that out there, I’m probably just imagining things 😐

    aloes gym type is normal
    theres a companion to Kurumiru, like caterpie-weedle
    no dark type gym
    mamepato has 2 evolutions.

  63. 15th Sept. will be when this is all revealed to have been one big massive hoax/fake/joke etc, all created by the “webmasters” of the big sites, to show how well they could fool the fandom. It was probably initiated Pokexperto and he managed to get Serebii and WPM to play along and say that they can confirm the info from the secret source. (Which probably doesn’t exist due to this being a hoax.)

    As for you PJ, I’m not sure. You could be involved, who knows 😛

    Btw, this is just a conspiracy theory of mine.

    • Well, I just noticed that Serebii seems to have backpedaled on the starter evolutions from his previous stance of “100% real” to “not confirmed, could be fake.” The original post is now worded as though he were suspicious the entire time.

      So if it’s all one giant Pokemon webmaster troll, it’s a great one. I’m thoroughly confused.

      Not believing anything unofficial until the game comes out at this point. Only two weeks. 😀

        • Did you see the comments he left here on PJ? He seemed pretty certain to me. Though you’re probably right on the original post. Doesn’t change the fact that his edit seems to show a pretty big shift in opinion.

            That’s been on the Serebii post about the evolutions the whole time.

    • It usually comes out on the 15th and is leaked about the 11th. Some special issues are released early on the 11th, but IIRC this next issue is scheduled for the 15th.

    • No, its official release is the 15th (last month’s earlier release was a special case). It usually leaks on the 12th, with the potential of leaking as early as the 10th.

      • there’s something not right about that list, usually its the bugs that go way before the cats or dog pokemon and where;s the bird pokemon they’re the most common pokes in the game at first how did a monkey and pets go before common pokes?

    • I’m sorry. That is part of my interpretation from Hiro’ comments. I think you’re right.

      They say they have the idea of showing an artwork everyday until the game is released.
      They also said they will show that Pokémon running.
      But now they said that silouette is not grass type, so I guess the Pokemon running will be shown other day.

  73. First time poster, so hi.

    Anyway, first off…where did Serebii confirm this?

    Secondly, as has been mentioned (I think) on here and in the topic about this on GameFAQs…he would lose all his rep and followers for a cheap laugh if this is fake.

      • Possible, but he has never shown silhouettes of previously seen pokemon before. That, and the legs lack their tufts, and there’s a few too many spiky bits on it to be Denchura.

      • I admit, it does have some similarities. Looking at it purely as a silhouette, it looks like someone mated a Kingler with a Parasect, and then stuck some rocks to it. XP
        I think, from the looks of most of these silhouettes, they’re likely his fanart interpretations of the descriptions he’s been given/the sprites he’s seen, rather than anything official. They all look a tad sketchy.
