It has been revealed that a new Pokkén Fighter will be revealed a week from today (15th of January) in a new teaser. The only other information revealed so far is that the Pokémon has the character ラ (ra) in its (Japanese) name.
So the only thing left to say is… Who’s that Pokémon?!

I’d wage to say that if a pokemon has an evolution (like the Nidorans, Rattata, etc.) then they won’t be included; Pikachu was an exception. Correct me if I’m wrong there, I haven’t really been following Pokken. If this is taken into consideration, as well as excluding support pokemon, then the list reduces drastically.
Damn I was hoping to get big news of pokemon like two years ago, but all the news we got all day yesterday was about the capture of Joaquin el chapo Guzman. ALL I want is a little bit of hope please GF shine some light on us!!!!!!!
So now that it’s 2016, are we all in agreement that a new game will launch this year? I don’t see any reason why Pokemon would waste two consecutive years without a high-profile release. I definitely think this is Pokemon Z’s time to shine, but I really hope we don’t have to wait until May for the reveal.

It’s going to be either Heracross or Swampert (probably Heracross). The question mark image for Sceptile’s reveal was green and red…the colors of Sceptile. This one is blue and orange, which would be either Mega Heracross or Swampert.
Also, COROCORO HYPE! I doubt it will have anything on its own, but for all we know it could hint at a new game announcement for the coming months! It’s time for Pokemon to return, guns blazing.
Supposedly some “source” says that this month just confirms Zygarde’s involvement in the movie and then says that next issue will have “trembling” news. Not sure if it’s legit or not bc I only heard about is from someone on bulbagarden forums, but if it’s true it stays in line with a very boring road to the next game hahaha Either way I’m pretty sure by next month we’ll have at least SOME kind of idea of when the announcement is coming if not the actual one.
Trembling is the word I’d use if we get a game announcement next month 😛 I’ll be scouring the internet tonight, just in case!
There’s already quite a few reasons* to expect a Nintendo Direct either this month or next, would make sense to announce it then (assuming this is true)
*New AC amiibo, details on Wolf Link amiibo usage before TPHD releases, exact Smash DLC date(s), Box Boy 2, maybe a final look at FE:F before that comes out, etc
I really hope it isn’t Swampert otherwise it’s just the whole Hoenn lineup and that would just irk me that they’re getting all the love and attention
besides unless they do some heavy duty Earth/Ground based attacks instead of the iconic and highly expected water and mud based attacks i won’t enjoy it as much
I’m feeling Heracross. Anyways, the sea is dry right now. We seriously need some new Pokemon news! GameFreak already said that 2016 is going to be a great year, let’s hope that it’s hype!
