On a competitive standpoint, Mega Metagross is what Metagross really needed. Boosted stats with potentially Tough Claws to boost its attack to ever higher levels. Metagross fell from grace since the nerf of steel types. Ahhhh I can’t wait for ORAS!!!

While I do agree with you that it’s design is Barbaracle 2.0, I dunno how people can be upset at the surge of news. They still have to translate corocoro’s information, and we got all those details on Secret Bases. I’m perfectly content for another month despite mega metagross being ugly.

Why is everyone complaining about the design of mega metagross? Mega charizard Y just got spikier, mega ampharos gained a wig, mega mauwile gained more teeth, and mega kangaskhan’s baby grew up. No one was throwing a hissy-fit about those guys, but metagross is experiencing the same transformations. I’m already in love with the design, along with all the other pokemon that were barely changed

Ludicolo & Shiftry (Debatable, due to their evolution method)
Camerupt and Sharpedo (All signs point to yes)
Flygon & Salamence ofc Miloootic (Fan faves)
Breloom, Altaria, Zangoose, Walrein and Crawdaunt (They just seem like they would obtain megas)
Seviper, Tropius, Whiscash, Glalie and Chimecho (Cuz they’re lonely and need love)
Honestly, every single Pokemon in Hoenn seem like they should recieve one (except Luvdisc) but that would just be overkill haha

Breloom doesn’t need one, it’s really good as it is. What would it need to improve?
Nothing really, just design. They could up its base stats by 5 and I won’t really care xD
Technician fits well with Breloom (Rock Tomb, Bullet Seed, Mach Punch), so a Mega might change the ability for the worse (eg. Mega Sableye)
Debatable, Sableye could utilize it’s two abilities to a great extent as a tank. Dish out priority Will-O-Wisps and Set up some calm minds, recover then rinse and repeat and Mega Evolve if you feel like Toxic would come, and you’ll have a pretty much unToxicable tank. But yeah, the opponent has to be not that good of a player if he’ll let a Sableye set up xD But yeah, Prankster is a better ability overall haha

I had my shiny 5iv mienshao since November. When that TSV thing was happening, someone traded me the mienfoo egg and it hatched shiny for me. They asked for it back and I kept it and deleted my reddit account LMFAO. It was a sour thing to do of me but it was my first ever XY shiny
And to this day, young Jonny has been searching for the shiny stealer
LMFAO. I rejoined reddit cause I saw someone say they had a 5iv chespin egg and the eggs SV matched my TSV (1893) so I asked can he trade it to me and he said sure he needed my friend code. As soon as I sent him my friend code I was hit with “don’t trade with heavymetalfairy his FC is known to take your Pokemon and not give it back” ROTLMFAO I was dying but scared -_-

Yeah – that was the whole point of that TSV program though. You find someone on reddit who’s TSV matches the SV of your egg, you get them to hatch it for you then you trade it back to them. It’s just most of the time I would keep their eggs (mienfoo & helioptile) so I got banned lol. Then eventually nintendo discovered TSV and shut that server down.

I guess its design is o.k but His entire evolution line is not on my fave pokemon list. It’s not even on my like or sumwhat like list. So to me this was a huge let down. 🙁 Finding out that there is a Mega form for Milotic would have impressed me far more than this. OR even finding out that there are mega forms for all three of gen two starter pokemon. It’s a thought that I had, that since they did that with X and Y, where they gave you two starter pokemon, the second being the ones with mega evolution’s. I would have been so foored to get a mega Typhlosion on my team as well as mega Sceptile. (Not that this will happen though. I’m just saying that, that would have made my day so much more than finding out about silly old Megacross geting a mega evolution.)

No, but people theorize that Mega Stones are to Evolutionary Stones like Entei, Raicune, and That other one are to Flareon, Vaporeon, and Jolteon: Hyped up versions of them. So, for example, Raichu is like Pikachu’s mega evolution, so it won’t get one.
I remember back when Megas leaked, everybody was freaking out. I hated Megas quite a lot for some reason, so did a lot of people. xD

What I like about Megas is that they have some kind of tiny little detail. With M. Metagross, it is either the supposed arm jet thingies, or the now golden X. Makes it seem more complete in my opinion.

If you screw someone over in Japan, you bring shame to yourself, and the only way to get rid of that shame is repentance.
What this means is the japanese public, after hearing about Mega Metagross, is not going to want to purchase ORAS for the 3DS, nor will they purchase any other Pokémon games. This is HUGE. You can laugh all you want, but Gamefreak has alienated an entire market with this move.
Gamefreak, publicly apologize and release DPPt remakes or you can kiss your business goodbye.

The only reason it’s overrated or talk about now is because when it first came out it was taken for granted because it was “different”. People noticed they didn’t know what they had until it was gone. That’s just what I think. Leave feedback if you want.

Wow, what a great thing to come home to! A little while ago I came back from Blizzard Beach, one of two DisneyWorld waterparks, and it was a blast! Day 3 of Florida is even better now with CoroCoro leak. Honestly, I feel that Mega Metagross looks absolutely great! Unlike the silver going across Metagross’ face, Mega Metagross has gold going across its face, which I think is great!

I haven’t ran one in Gen 6 yet but I know that my ddancing scrafty was a BEAST in gen 5. It’d be odd to see a little gangster pokemon with a mega haha, but it’d be cool to see nonetheless.
Its biggest let down is that Speed stat, and mediocre Attack stat. It has the Bulk, it just needs an increase in that Attack and Speed, and it will be crazy hard to stop…especially with Drain Punch recovery
I LOVE my Scrafty <3 It has saved me so many times and it has some hidden potential, but it's definitely a great Pokemon. It survived Air Slash from Charizard Y :3

Ok, I promised I would tell a bit about why Bulba sucks. I’m currently writing something cool and new so I will only post the gist of it.
The biggest thing is that Bulba is owned by for-profit corporation. That’s right, Liam Promfet decided to cash and sold his site to a certain company, never acknowledging doing so, but the company in questions also holds several other sites. This was a huge turning point from Bulba because they went from bad to total shit. Remember the time when the normal ads got replaced by obnoxious big banners infected with malware? Yup, that’s the time of acquisition. Remember when TTEchidna retired as Editor-In-Chief? It was not because he hated the wiki, he hated the new people in charge and what they wanted to do with the wiki.
Beside that, the team organisation is a mess too. Older staff acted like pricks towards the younger staff, using them as slaves, under the guise of the younger staff having to prove themselves if they ever wanted to climb up.
And a very ugly part: Bulba’s staff had a hidden porn board, with staff posting nudes of themselves for other staff to see. Normally, it has been deleted with the acquisition.
And those are some of the key points of why I don’t like Bulba. Now I’m off to do some new research :).

I really hope Smogon gets taken down in a couple of years by Gamefreak. I know it won’t happen but still. I mean, people should use what they like, and not have to worry about what a group of people running a website telling them what they should use. The idea is terrible. One of the main themes in pokemon is being unique, especially with your team. This is why I am not a competitive battler and probably never will be, because people like them will judge me based on my opinion.

I’m glad you benefited from this experience.
The ones you should blame are the people who copy paste smogon sets, gets a couple of wins, and thinks their team is better than things that are not smogon sets based on the few wins they have. If you face top competitive battlers, not only are movesets non-standard, but so are the EVs. But chances are the people that think condescendingly haven’t faced any top battler yet.
You don’t have to use Smogon. Only Smogon azzholes actually force it down your throat.
I never use their rules cause they are lame to me, and If it’s still useable according to gamefreak then who is to say I can’t use it myself… BUT that is just for people who like it. I have been battling forever and Never had anyone care I don’t use there rules.. well some care but don’t avoid battling me or give me much flack for it .. it’s pretty non existent until someone being it up and which I just ignore them

It’s all about the strategy. Smogon enforcement are emanating negativity and positivism at the same time. It’s a complex equation but at least there’s a house for both parties.

Smogon has its uses, it helped me start competitive battling. But when they start banning stuff or creating clauses (except for sleep), it makes me feel like there’s no skill involved with smogon.
I don’t mind some of their clauses to be honest. I usually like playing by their rules, but if I battle someone who doesnt go by it, I don’t mind it either. I’d still battle them.

Probably not xD. I don’t like 3v3. A scouter is a pokemon that can u-turn, volt switch on a pokemon that it threatens so the opponent switches out to another pokemon. The advantage is that you keep the momentum and get to know what other pokemon your opponent has. Flygon was OU in Dppt for that reason.

Sounds… pretty good. It has base 70 speed. Even just 50 would bring it to 120, outspeeding the vast majority of opponents, including Gengar. Plus it has Bullet Punch. Maybe put 30 in Attack and 20 in Sp Def. Hope they do this right.

Well, that was about as close to a spiritual experience I’ve ever had in my life. The Pixar campus is practically the definition of modern, with concept art from every major project, including short films, scattered about. We even found out what short film will play before Inside Out, their movie coming out next year. I won’t tell you, though, because I signed an oath (not really 😉 ). I am now making it my life goal to work there, it was that amazing. Our friend/tour guide was surprised that I knew more than she did, and she works there XD And I got a Limited Edition of 500 collectible “La Luna” figure with certificate that will be a great addition in my priceless collectibles room 😀

Obvious guesses. It showed up after we knew about Sharpedo/Camerupt/Metagross via their trainers’ Mega Stones, and we always knew Lati@s. Sableye was always in for one because Mawile got one. Flygon is a fan favourite, probably one of the most requested.
If Ludicolo gets one, then Shiftry gets one, and Ludicolo is very popular. Only one that isn’t high likely is Seviper/Zangoose, which are maybes, but nothing indicates it so far.
Some people here really believe that Ludicolo/Shiftry won’t get one because they evolve by stones.
And since no Pokemon who evolve by stone evolution hasven’t gotten a Mega, that it will not happen, due to the stones being related to Mega Stones, or something like that.
It’s too soon to tell with that theory though, for me, and I won’t mind all of them.
I just want Milotic and Altaria. I hear people ask for them more than Flygon.

I agree. The reasons people hate Ash aren’t “his” fault. It’s the writers’. They want to cater to the kids new to Pokemon and so make it seem like Ash forgets a lot of the stuff so it can be re-explained. This seems to have decreased in the XY anime though thankfully.
I’m re-watching the series and i can honestly say its debatable he “forgets stuff”. The only real time it truly feels like he forgets is unova but that was mainly because unova was like a semi-tribute to kanto if that makes any sense so they made Ash act as though he was just starting out. The writers for some reason want to make Ash an underdog but at the same time a veteran trainer which doesn’t work unless he has rivals like Paul who have been stated to been traveling and competing in just as many leagues as Ash. Or if his rival is older like Virgil, Tyson, Harrison and Tobias.

I’ve been drawing since I was in elementary school for sure but can’t remember the exact year… But my drawings werent always this good when I was young. If I wasn’t satisfied, I’d crumble the paper and start all over. Patience is what I always put into my work. Maybe you could do the same. Never rush a drawing if you want it to be flawless! Keep at it! XD
Ive been drawing since Elementary as well starting with drawing Pokemon. Ive gotten a lot better since then. Me too XD I do that a lot especially when it comes to simple sketches. The one concept I havent mastered yet is free drawing or without looking at a guide. Hopefully I do get better! Maybe I should draw something?

I think the primary reason is that you don’t receive enough attention for your messages in the chat when compared to the Disqus comment section.
Sure I understand that, and that is a burden that is intrinsic to a chat. But how does that make it scary? Also, it’s not as fast as you think it is now.
I just think it’s easier to moderate Disqus than the chat, making it more enjoyable. Chat can get crazy sometimes. I mean, I did exaggerate about it being bad but, if I had a choice between Disqus and chat, it’s Disqus. It’s nothing about you guys the moderators, but some people at the chat are crazyy. :3 That’s why I stick to PMs.
