Possible Screenshot leaks (UPD)

This COULD be one of the legendary trios.  Pokexperto posted a silhouette this morning and now we have these screenshots.  No proof that these are legit yet, I’ll send a quick email to Melkor 😉

UPD: (The following is an ozy takeover) These Pokemon are the REAL legendary trio but, they are not real screenshots. So, they will look very similar to this, but the sprites you see in the game might look slightly different.

ps- Thanks Bayleef for the tip!

1. The first image is the most convincing….but the blue on the second image seems very off. Maybe its a trink of the mind, but that sprite doesn’t look right, regardless of the fact it is in motion. However, the background on both pic;s is different so It could be real. (look at the horizon line)

• I don’t think the grey or green one suck. I really like the bull. While the green one looks like an adult Shaymin but it’s still ok.

My main issue is with the blue one, don’t exactly hate it but I just don’t get it….

2. My favourite is the grey bull one, green one seems alright but I’ll need to see it from a frontal angle.

The Blue one…….eh….not sure about it at all. :\

3. they have to be real, the detail matches with the shadows outlines, even if they were revealed they would be similar to this then. not to mention the shadows are in sync and matched.

4. A guy on Serebii just told me this. Old news, but I had forgotten the typings
Fighting Trio. Quadrupedal. Based on the 3 Musketeers:
* Steel/Fighting – Athos. Brave Pokemon. Blue with yellow horns.
* Rock/Fighting – Porthos. Corpulent Pokemon. Grey and very robust. almost a bull.
* Grass/Fighting – Aramis. Elegant Pokemon. Green and stylish. Shiny version is completely pink.

See if it fits for yourself.

5. Each pseudo-legendary has been used at least once by an Elite Four member or Champion. Dragonite is used by Lance. Tyranitar is used by Blue in the rematch against him in Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen. Salamence is used by Drake. Metagross is used by Steven, who is the Champion in Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire. Garchomp is used by Cynthia…

Do you know what this means?? The pokemon Champion of Isshu is either DRAGON or DARK type!!

6. I like the bull-like rock type, and I can see the grass type looking okay from the front, even if I’ll never love it.

The blue steel type? It looks truly deformed. I can’t even imagine an animation that might do that to its legs.

7. The first one looks ok, the other two are fugly.

If any of those is real if at all it may be the first one, the others’ sprites are sucky.

8. hmmm these trios (Steel/Fighting,Rock/Fighting n Grass/Fighting) im guess all of them have to learn the move Superpower cause A there fighting type n B they walk on 4’s not on 2’s but that’s my guess

• I have to laugh at how so many people were begging for a Pure-Flying type, even though it’s worse than a Normal/Flying type, yet now we have a load of pure types, everyone’s moaning about how ‘boring’ it is.
At least we -have- pure Ice-types now. If this was like Gen1, it’d be a purely secondary typing.

Reply
• There’s a difference between adding loads of pure types in one gen. Okay this is the third evo line to get pure ice. (Ice cream, Polar and now Mirror)

Also there are four pure psychic evo lines (two have two stages, and two have three stages! 10/156 is a fair bit IMO)

That’s the thing tho….a pure flying type has never been done before….now if next gen came out with seven……..

9. The blue one reminds me of something like Articuno and Dialga breeding. It’s weird… The gray one is cool, maybe the green one grow on me with a frontal sprite. If they’re are real at all.

10. Wait, if these quadruped folks are /Fighting, there’s still hope for Miju’s evo.

Oh, the Polar Bear isn’t Ice/Fighting? 🙁 So all Ice types in this region are pure?

Reply
• There would be hope, but for the fact it has been stated many times by a now fairly reliable source that it IS a Pure-Water-type. ¬_¬

And no, you’re confusing it with an old rumour. The -real- polar bear line is Pure-Ice-type. Live with it.

11. Melkor posted these on the front page, so chances are, they ARE the real thing. I mean, why wouldn’t they? It’s come to the understanding he’s telling the truth anyways, why would these suddenly be fake? Plus, after focusing on it and getting a better look*thought the face looked VERY strange initially* I can see all the details of each fairly clearly, and they look fine to me.

15. They’re fake, I can tell they are, first off, Fighting type Pokemon are usually humanoid, often anthropomorphic animals, second, they are WAY too remiscent of the legendary beasts (you know, Raikou, Entei, Suicune), and finnaly, one looks like a blue colored Arceus, while another looks like a mix between Arceus and Sky Shaymin

• Ummm, we -know- their designs are roughly like that and that they are all quadrupedal. The issue is whether the sprites are real. But considering Pokexperto have put them on their site, I would consider them ‘real enough’ even if they’re not the final official sprites.

• The Pokemon aren’t fake, it’s the photographs we’re wondering about.

We’ve already been told that our ROAMING BEASTS are QUADRUPEDAL FIGHTING-TYPES. The general idea is confirmed, just not those sprites specifically.

16. I just hope Melkor is wrong about SOMETHING! Like, I want some surprise when the games come out.

Has there been anything he’s been wrong about before?

Reply
• If you want surprise for when the game comes out, -why- are you frequenting a site that is reporting everything Pokexperto posts? If you don’t want spoilers, don’t go to sites that post them.

• If you don’t like my comment or have an answer, don’t comment darling 😉

Why would I want to stop coming here? I like it. Besides I don’t read what I don’t want to ie. Plot line info.

Thanks for the Spoiler tags!

17. Green one seems like adult version of Shaymin, blue one seems to big to be a Pokémon sprite and why is PokExperto’s site in the background? It all seems kind of fishy.

Reply
• Good point. Sprites can’t be too big since they’re animated and in Double or even Triple battles, things could get way cluttered. But what do I know?

Regarding the website, maybe he’s proving that he has the game…

18. Wasn’t there a statement somewhere that Melkor said, that said you could run into the legendary trio at ANY time. I just noticed that he never mentioned anything about releasing them from somewhere.

*imagines running into a roaming legend with his level 5 Mijumaru in the first patch of grass*
Mijumaru: O.o
Me: … … … GO POKEBALL!!!!!!
*somehow catches it*
Me: … o.O

19. if it was just the first image, u got me but when i saw the one with the blue thing in it i knew it was fake because the blue beast thing looks like it was poorly drawn

20. Too everyone saying it cant be non-water:

Being a fish and living in water doesnt make you Water type.
It makes you egg-group Water-2, like Goldeen.
Or if you stick to the ground underwater, you get Water-3, like Cradily.
If you live in the water but can come out of it too, you are Water-1, like Squirtle.

If however, you can mainly spit tons of water and make it rain, then you have water type powers and are therefore Water type.

There is no logical problem for an aquatic pokemon not being water typed.

21. im not sure why, but the first thing i thought when i saw the green one was “arceus”…
also, the blue one doesnt seem very professional…one of its legs is weird

22. i think they’re all really interesting! i’m impressed. when i first heard ‘fighting type’ i thought they’d be kind of boring….but i was wrong 🙂 yeh the grass one is definitely channeling arceus/shaymin sky forme haha..

24. The Error Message when running the Black rom with NoCash:
The following error(s) occured when loading the cartridge:
Bad Header Checksum (real gameboy would shutdown)
Bad ROM Entrypoint at Header [000h]
Bad Fixed Value 96h at Header [0B2h]

With Desmume it just stays as a blank screen forever. Give this to Pokemon Project and everyone you possibly can.
