Like the original Pokémon Diamond and Pearl, their remakes include the Ball Capsule feature which allows you to decorate your Poké Ball with Stickers. Doing so will affect the visual effect of your Pokémon being released from its Poké Ball during battles.
How to unlock the Ball Capsule feature
After progressing past the first Gym Leader, Oreburgh City’s Roark, and earning the Coal Badge, you can return to Jubilife City in order to head north, however you’ll be stopped by Team Galactic. After defeating them, Bebe will approach you and reward you with Ball Capsules. A new menu item will also be added, allowing you easy access to the customization.
Gym Leader Ball Capsule Sticker gallery
If you want to see how a Gym Leader set up the Stickers on their Ball Capsule, you can find their configuration on the second floor of the Jubilife TV building in a room just off of the stairs. Once you have defeated a Gym Leader, their portrait will be added to the wall and you can access their Sticker information.
You have the option to either preview the Stickers on your own Pokémon or copy the Stickers to a new or used Ball Capsule. If you don’t have all the Stickers required, the game will offer to apply the ones you do have.

This Sticker releases a flutter of yellow flower petals.

- Jubilife City: Three given to you by TV produce on third floor of Jubilife TV building, possibly tied to providing the answer ‘Underground Treasures Corner’ but also possibly random
- Route 209: Girl near the two berry trees will give you three stickers

How to acquire:
- Floaroma Town Flower Shop: 3 Oran Berries
- Route 281: After surfing over to the remainder of the route, talk to the male picnicker NPC to inform him his girlfriend is waiting on the other side for him. He will give you three stickers as a reward
