A new event in Pokémon Pokopia has been announced for October, Pumpkaboo’s Sweet Surprises! It will run from Saturday, October 17, at 5:00 a.m. until Sunday, November 1, at 4:59 a.m. local time and adds Pumpkaboo and Gourgeist to the game.
Players will need to befriend Pumpkaboo who will be waiting near rebuilt Pokémon Centers and then start collecting the event currency pumpkin candies which can be traded in for decorative items.
In order to earn these pumpkin candies, players will need to camouflage themselves and then surprise Pokémon who are passing by. The Camouflage move is learned from Zorua in the Bleak Beach area.
Gourgeist can be befriended by creating its habitat using the items purchased during the event.
