The 5th anniversary celebrations continue in Pokémon UNITE will the release of the Legendary Pokémon Palkia as a playable character!
Unfortunately, it’s release comes during a time of uncertainity for the game’s future as it has been left out of the Pokémon World Championships for 2027. Instead, a dedicated tournament will be held in Japan in late March. With the reduction in each new character’s movesets from two to one, and now the exclusion from the biggest Pokémon tournament, players are understandably worried.
Palkia’s playstyle in UNITE
Palkia is a melee ‘all-arounder’ who marks opponents with its abilities and can heal itself when it consumes those marks with a basic attack. You can watch its moves in action in the video above.
