July has more celebrations and free Timed Research players won’t want to miss out on in Pokémon GO!
Special Anniversary Pikachu Celebration event
From Monday, July 13, at 10:00 a.m. until Monday, July 20, at 8:00 p.m. local time, the Special Anniversary Pikachu Celebration event will be taking place! Players can encounter many costumed Pikachu, with spawns rotating in three periods throughout the event.

Willow’s Birthday Research event
A birthday celebration is on the way — the Willow’s Birthday Research event will take place on Tuesday, July 21, from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. local time. Pikachu dressed as Professor Willow’s assistant will be making its debut and there will also be free Timed Research to celebrate!

Ozone Ascent event
From Saturday, July 25, at 10:00 a.m. to Sunday, July 26, at 8:00 p.m. local time, the Ozone Ascent event will be taking place in GO. Players will get free Timed Research that awards an encounter with Rayquaza and a Meteorite, the latter which is needed to learn the move Dragon Ascent which will allow it to Mega Evolve.
There will also be paid research which is described on the official site.
