If evolved during the event or within four hours after it ends, Oinkologne will know the featured attack Mud Slap, a Fast Attack which has 11 power in Trainer Battles or 19 power when used in Gyms or raids.

While Lechonk and Oinkologne normally have a dark color scheme, their Shiny appearance is bright pink! Male and female Oinkologne also have different appearances, beyond differences in facial features and coloration, the male is distinguished by a bulbous tail, whereas the female’s tail concludes in a delicate, pronged fork.

Falinks Super Mega Raid Day details

Mega Falinks will make its Pokémon GO debut during Falinks Super Mega Raid Day which will take place on Saturday, May 23, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time. The following bonuses will be available to take advantage of:

  • Receive up to six free Raid Passes from spinning Gym Photo Discs.
  • Increased chance of encountering Shiny Falinks from Super Mega Raids.

Mega Energy system improvements

The Raid Day will also herald a change in the Mega Energy system, “As part of this update, you will be able to use Mega Energy to quickly increase your Pokémon’s Mega Level for all levels! The amount of Mega Energy required to level up will depend on how many times you’ve Mega Evolved that Pokémon—the more times you’ve Mega Evolved it, the less Mega Energy it will cost!”

Mega Mewtwo X and Mega Mewtwo Y join the fray

Mega Mewtwo X and Mega Mewtwo Y will make their debut as part of the Pokémon GO Fest 2026! Instead of sharing Mega Energy between the forms, each will have separate energy. More information is shared in the official blog post, which also covers changes to Mega Charizard X and Mega Charizard Y:

Split Mega Level Progression

For Pokémon with multiple Mega Evolutions, such as Mewtwo, progression will now be tracked individually for each Mega Evolution. For example, the Mega Level for Mega Mewtwo X will increase independently from the Mega Level for Mega Mewtwo Y.

For Mega Charizard X and Mega Charizard Y, any Charizard that you have Mega Evolved will carry over its Mega Level to both Mega Evolutions after this split. Charizard’s Mega Evolutions will also require separate Mega Energy going forward, which you can get from taking on either Mega Charizard X or Mega Charizard Y in Mega Raids. If you already have Charizard Mega Energy, you will be awarded that amount of both Mega Charizard X Energy and Mega Charizard Y Energy after this split.

Mega Mewtwo X and Mega Mewtwo Y will also have featured attacks when caught during the in-person (requires ticket) or global GO Fest events:

  • Mewtwo caught from Mega Mewtwo X Super Mega raids will know the Fast Attack Counter.
  • Mewtwo caught from Mega Mewtwo Y Super Mega raids will know the Charged Attack Psystrike.
