The Pokémon Fossil Museum is coming to the US!

The Pokémon Fossil Museum, a science exhibit that mixes real-world paleontology with Pokémon, will be making its international debut in 2026! It will be coming to Chicago’s Field Museum and will open on May 22, 2026. You can sign up for notifications on their official exhibit page.

Details such as how long the exhibit will be running for and ticket prices have yet to be revealed. We are also waiting for confirmation that merchandise for the exhibit will be getting a release at the museum.

The Pokémon Fossil Museum exhibit includes “life-size” representations of what Pokémon skeletons would look like, as well as comparisons with real-world prehistoric creatures. You can explore via a virtual tour here.
