Final Pokémon Sword & Shield Promotional Video

The Japanese Pokémon YouTube Channel has released the final promotional video for Pokémon Sword & Shield.

The video features several news shots of the games and shows off two new Pokémon. No further details about these Pokémon were revealed, but some fans may recognise them from events over the past week or so.

The trailers also seems to give a sneak peek at what appears to be a bicycle time trial race and a look at the Wooloo rolling mini game.

We’re now just days away from the release of the games and we can’t wait to share the start of the next generation with all of our readers! Stay tuned for the continuation of The Path to Sword & Shield!

  1. built my team! sort of. lots of people meticulously plan what six they’re gonna use, others think that’s stupid and you should just catch whatever; with this i’m aiming for somewhere in between. the top three are definite, optimistically i’m rolling with them until the end. the remaining three slots go to the first ones i run into from the other 15

(dracopult was on here until the very last draft, but it sounds like it’d be too much of a hassle to get for an in-game team and i’m not that committed to using one)

  2. So, aside from the redesign, Hop 2 is honestly looking pretty good. E.B.’s redesign is weird, but I can live with it. Seriously though, I’m actually kinda excited for the Sonic movie. Hoping this and Detective Pikachu can mean more good video game movies (If the movie is good, that is).

  4. So Toxtricity forms are based on nature. Which is interesting but kind dumb since the stats of the 2 forms aren’t any different at all. I guess this way you can tell if it’s gonna be a special attacker or physical attacker when you battle 1

  5. I really don’t like how they decided to use those awful weird synth samples for so much of the soundtrack, at least from what I heard. Sun and Moon had such a lovely soundtrack and part of that was really excellent instrument choice but like… SwSh’s makes it sound so generic. Which is fitting I suppose but idk. The compositions are fine, I actually really really love Sonia’s theme but idk

  6. In other interesting news Disney+ dropped today and the first thing i watched was Get a Clue and now Stuck in the Suburbs. They even got the picture discoloration right on Get a Clue like when your tv antenna wigs out LOL

  7. So Dreepy is a 1% encounter… Hunting it for a mâle one with the right nature will be a nightmare. I’m hésitant towards just catching a female one and just make eggs until I get a mâle with the right nature or just hunt. But you better bet I’ll hunt for that little lovable dragon ^^

Also thank the lucky stars that Corviknight can’t learn Stealth Rock

So guess I’ll be playing BW2 instead cuz they seem good

  10. It’s been said thousands of time by now but I honestly think they need to take Pokemon off of GameFreak. Maybe because of intentional laziness, but it’s clear that they’re worn out of doing it to the point they’re willing to make terrible games like Town.
