There are some exciting new updates rolling out to Pokémon GO soon. First is the update to what players can expect to hatch out of eggs. The official site gives us a hint as to what we can expect:
- 2 km Eggs: Turtwig, Chimchar, Piplup, Bonsly, and many more.
- 5 km Eggs: Cubone, Combee, Buizel, Glameow, Bronzor, Skorupi, Croagunk, and many more.
- 10 km Eggs: Mawile, Absol, Shinx, Cranidos, Shieldon, Riolu, and many more.
This will apply to eggs found after Apr. 26, 2019, at 1:00 p.m. PDT (GMT −7).
The second update to the game will be regarding the monthly Research Breakthrough rewards! Players have long complained about the repeated inclusion of the Legendary Dogs and Regi Trio and I’m happy to say that they have been eliminated from the rewards. Instead, players will have a chance to catch one of the following: Lugia, Ho-Oh, Latias, or Latios! If you’re really lucky, you may even encounter their shiny form! These rewards will be available for the months of May and June after completing 7 research tasks!
