Let’s Go, Pikachu! & Let’s Go, Eevee!
- Since the official announcement of Pokémon Let’s Go, Pikachu! & Let’s Go, Eevee! there’s been some confusion on whether or not it will have online functionality. Luckily Japanese gaming magazine, Famitsu, has published some clarification: Let’s Go! will have online battles and trades, however it will require a Nintendo Switch Online subscription. They specifically mention that features such as Wonder Trade and the GTS will not exist in game.
Year of Legendary Pokémon
- Remember to get your hands on the most exciting distribution of the Year of Legendary Pokémonhas to offer – Shiny Zygarde! If you’re in Europe or Australia you can simply download Shiny Zygarde via Mystery Gift by connecting to the Nintendo Network. However for those in North America you’ll have to head to your local GameStop (US) or EB Games (Canada) and ask for a serial code. Distribution ends June 22nd for Europe and Australia, and on June 24th for all of North America!
- If Shiny Zygarde is distributed to Pokémon Sun or Moon it will be gifted at Level 60 – however if its brought to a copy of Ultra Sun or Ultra Moon it will arrive at Level 100 holding a Gold Bottle Cap
- Although Shiny Zygarde comes with the ability Aura Break, you are able to change its ability to power Construct – allowing Zygarde to achieve its Complete Form. Simply head to Route 16 and assemble 50 Zygarde cells onto it!
Pokémon Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon
- Details for the 2018 International Challenge June battle competition have been announced! This Double Battle competition follows standard VGC rules, and all Pokémon will be raised to Level 50 for the competition. Participants can earn Championship Points, allowing some to qualify for the World Championships! Registration runs from June 7th to the 14th while the battle themselves will take place from June 15th through June 17th!
Pokkén Tournament DX
- From June 15th through June 17th you can participate in the Alter Ego Army Group Match! Participation will grant you a special title inspired by Croagunk – gaining more the higher you place
Pokémon GO
- For those in Europe, Niantic has announced a new Pokémon GO Safari Zone in Dortmund, Germany! From June 30th through July 1st Lure Models will be live in the area all day, special 2km eggs will drop from PokéStops, and Corsola and Unown will have increased spanws! This marks Corsola’s first migration, so if you’re in the area to be sure to GO!
- New Research Tasks are now available! These have a focus on Water-type Pokémon, and to go with the change Articuno is now the Research Breakthrough!
- Remember that Tuesday, June 5ths marks the end of the Adventure Week bonuses, as well the exit of Latios & Latias as raid bosses! Last chance to get out and GO!
Pokémon Duel
- Requiring 247MB, Version 6.0.7 of the popular mobile game is now available to download! This patch adds some new plates as well as a few new figures:
- New UX Figures – Mega Houndoom & Mega Lucario
- New EX Figures – Arcanine, Houndoom, and Registeel
- New R Figures – Growlithe & Excadrill
- New UC Figures – Houndour & Drilbur
Pokémon Shuffle
- The Zygarde 50% Form Escalation Battle is available until June 12th
- The following stages are all available until June 5th as part of the 16th week of Pokémon Shuffle’s event cycle:
- A Pokémon Safari featuring Numel, Camerupt, Hippopotas (Female), Hippowdon (Female), Pidove, Tranquill, Unfezant (Female), Jangmo-o, and Hakamo-o
- The Ultra Challenge Stage against Solgaleo
- The Great Challenge Stages consist of Machamp, Politoed, Tepig (Winking), Keldeo Resolute Forme and Zygarde 10% Forme
- This week’s Daily Pokémon stages are Clefairy (Winking), Charmander (Winking), Squirtle (Winking), Bulbasaur (Winking) & Jigglypuff (Winking)
- The One Chance Per Day stage features Cosmoem
- A Competitive Stage against Luxray
