Summer is just around the corner, and Niantic is gearing up for a summer full of global Pokémon GO fun!
Pokémon GO Fest will be returning to Chicago from July 14th to the 15th with a new twist! Pokémon GO Fest 2018: A Walk in the Park will “offer a unique, immersive play experience unseen anywhere else that will create a daylong adventure for Trainers.” If you want to be a part of the festivities at Lincoln Park this year, Single-day passes will be on sale from May 11th for $20.
For those in Europe, the Safari Zone is making a comeback at Dortmund, Germany from June 30th to July 1st, 2018! Not much else has been revealed about the event and its activities, but it will be a free event, and will take place at Westfalenpark – one of the largest inner city parks in Europe!
If you call Asia home, Niantic will be holding a Safari Zone event in Yokosuka, Japan. Although no other details or an exact date have been announced Niantic has promised that an “exciting schedule” of events for trainers across Asia will be announced soon!
Can’t make it to any of the events? Niantic has you covered! Throughout the summer trainers across the globe will be able to participate in several activities and challenges at home – details to be announced soon.
In addition to all the summer fun, Niantic has also confirmed the dates for the next few upcoming Community Days: June 16th. and July 8th. The featured Pokémon and bonuses haven’t been revealed as of yet.
