Pokémon Crystal to be Released on Virtual Console

As many speculated when Pokémon Gold and Pokémon Silver were released on the Nintendo 3DS Virtual Console last year, fans will get a chance to re-play the classic Pokémon Crystal as well.

Set for a release on January 26, 2018, it will include the ability to deposit caught Pokémon in Pokémon Bank and transfer them to Gen VII games. The re-release of Crystal will also allow players to encounter the legendary Celebi!

I, for one, am massively excited! The animated sprites of Crystal are some of the most iconic in the series. It also finally let you choose the gender of your trainer at the outset of your adventure! This will be a great way to start 2018 for trainers across the world!

  3. Here’s a random thing! I’m sure everyone has that one mon they don’t like/care about that seemingly EVERYONE else does…. here are those for me

Garchomp- I’ll be honest, it does look cool and has a pretty heat concept. It’s certainly not a bad design…. but I honestly feel nothing towards it …. I like Salamence, Tyranitar, hell literally every other pseudo a fair amount. Garchomp has always been a mon who was just there for me and never really resonated with me like any of the other pseudos

Blastoise- A mono water starter who is from gen 1…. I don’t know why but Blastoise nor the squirtle line in general ever caught my interest. Like this thing just bores me… I mean I had my Charizard phase as a kid but I eventually started to like Venusaur over the others…. so to be frank, I never felt much towards blastoise

Mewtwo- Another mon who falls into the i don’t care category. I get how strong it is and all, but the pure amount of fanpandering it’s involved in made me begin to grow numb to its presence. I mean it’s cool but I don’t exactly care much about it

Darmanatan: Gen 5 had fire types… a lot. There were incredible ones, like Chandelure, and shitty ones, like… y’know, S I M I S E A R. To be honest, this thing just became popular out of nowhere imo. I mean I think it started with shofu but I dunno. Needless to say, I didn’t really find it that interesting compared to the trillions of other cool mons the region had.

    The last one

Groudon, aka Groodon (Normal form)- I’ll say that its primal form is really fuckin cool…but it’s normal form never appealed to me. I always felt that designwise it was really generic. I mean Kyogre was too but I thought it looked cool. For some reason I never really cared for Groudon.

  4. Fangame feature teaser

On the topic of fossil revival, sometimes the supposed product is much different than what it actually was. A Pokémon revived one way might actually have been much different in the past. Not all replication works perfectly…

  5. If I were to not pick my A-Team for Crystal and picked something….different how does this sound

    Typhlosion
    Quagsire
    …..

Ack there’s just not enough to work with, I would’ve said Steelix or maybe even Scizor but you can’t use them until post

And I considered Granbull but Urasring is better than it in every possible way

  6. Pokemon keeps on making new abilities but it has all these one off abilities with no distribution that are really good. It should spread some

  7. Pokémon move idea
    Overcharge:
    Type: Electric
    Accuracy: 95%
    BP: 5/5
Effects: Raises the foes special Attack by two levels.
Description: The user sends an overpowering amount of energy into its opponent which causes them heavy damage. Their special attack will rise due to this.

  8. Hmm can’t decide what should I do for a cloud Pokémon evolution?

It’s starts as Flying, then evolves into three differing Pokémon. One being Flying/Electric, the other being Flying/Water, but the last is undecided

Not doing Ice because I already have too many
