I had the pleasure of attending New York Comic Con on Sunday, October 8, 2017 and running into all these wonderful people cosplaying as our favorite characters from Pokémon. They were all ecstatic to be shared on PokéJungle too, whether they were familiar with us or not. Check them out!

The little Squirtle was shy when I asked if he knew what sounds a Squirtle makes, so I’ll just put down “Glub, glub, glub.”
“Don’t catch ’em all.”
They didn’t seem like they actually knew any Team Rocket lines.
“What would Ash say?” I asked the kid. He simply shrugged his shoulders and walked away.
“I’ve seen a lot of strange Pokémon around and when I ask them if they’re well, they run away. I think Team Rocket is behind it, I saw them somewhere around here.”

I still don’t understand why people are upset about 2 Z-Moves… I’m pretty darn sure you couldn’t use Both on 1 Pokemon.. they would grow too tired. Sure Baton pass exist but….
And, many Pokemon are no good competitively with z-item alone..

Delphox. I’m one of the few who still like it, due to the typing. The only other ones with that is Victini and Ze Mode Darmanitan at <50% health.

ALSO!! GUYS!! I have went through my old Pokemon games, and I have found gold. Now tht I have Pokebank, I discovered some Pokemon I forgot I had in Dream balls!! I somehow got a Larvatar in a Friend ball, so I’ll be breeding those Pokemon. Going back to the topic, I find the expression of the James above to be funny for some reason. All the pics are adorable, none the less.
The Team Skull and the Flareon ones are my favorite though.

My first comicon my brother ditched me do he and his friends could do the stuff they wanted to and I had to be by myself seeing nearly everyone else in a happy group (mostly nerdy couples)

I brought the stuffed Dunsparce I made and this Skull Grunt tried to steal her. Found some more grunts later. Finally, there’s a picture of Flop the Dunsparce. I didn’t dress up, but carried her around on my shoulder.

Oh, while we’re here talking about assorted disappointments, I must share one:
Mega Latias. I don’t care if she was good in battle. She was definitely fun to soar with. BUT there is one thing I cannot forgive: SHE WASN’T RED.
She looked nearly identical to Mega Latios and that sucked. Observe the fan-colored versions below, aka how they should have looked. I can think of no reason that she could not be red in the game.

Making them both purple is such a horrible design choice. You can’t tell them apart
Maybe that was the point, to try and make them seem like the same thing. An unnecessary move and as these pictures show they looked better in their own colours.

When we first saw pictures of them, I thought they were the same except for eye color. Apparently Latias is a little smaller and soars a little different (haven’t gotten to that part in AS yet)
Same, I also am not particularly a fan of the purple used.
Having only started with XY, and only played previous games after that fact, I’m pretty chill with whatever Gamefreak decides to do. There are usually things I love and things I hate in every game. But this one little thing was just SO stupid. It would’ve taken what? 2 lines of code to change the colors?
Pokemon walking with you? Big deal. A whole battle facility? Big deal. Different battle formats, the PSS, the minigames… all of those are big things. I might’ve been disappointed by some of the other Megas, or some of the Pokemon, but this was just so stupid and easy to fix.
Looks so much freakin better.
I don’t mind the fact they’re both purple because they’re meant to look more similar, I just wish they were easier to tell apart. Like, different shades of purple closer to their OG colours or accents of their OG colour
ARRRGHH WHY MUST JIRACHI EXIST
I find out they’re suspect testing monotype something I haven’t done in months because SM introduced everything that doesn’t make Ground types feel welcome and I use my Fighting mono and this Steel mono jerk was mostly easy pickings until he pulled Z-Happy Hour Jirachi and swept my team and has the absolute nerve to give me shite about my team.

And I’m pouring a lot of money into Cranbies this season at least 50
From what I know of it, on the day of the Festival you take all of your gold star stuff and put in the empty display stand. Then you have it judged and as long as you get at least 90 points you get first place. Then you take all your points and you bet them on the green side of the prize wheel (or something like that? I haven’t actually done it, but I’ve watched some videos on it.) And then before you end the festival you can take all of your gold star items back with you as long as you remember to grab them back

But I have like no hay to feed the animals and need a major pay day to fund all this
Yeah I read somewhere that you should save most of the tall grass to turn into hay until when you have a silo so luckily I did that.
There are 9 slots make sure you fill them all, there are categories for the different stuff like vegetable and fruit, flower, artisan goods, cooking, etc. have items from at least 6 of the categories, besides that yeah just use the best quality stuff you can and the most profitable stuff you can (professions that affect value on sell affects these still). After that yeah go to the wheel and always bet half your stars and bet on green. Even if you lose keep trying until you have at least 3,400 stars. If you run out of stars you can just reset the day if you need to.
Down with pumpkin spice. Go vanillia chai for a new fall taste.
