Two new Japanese trailers for Pokkén Tournament DX has been released and showcases more footage of the game which will be released September 22nd for the Nintendo Switch. In addition to the characters from the Wii U version, DX also includes brand new characters such as Decidueye from last year’s Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon.
The game also features new support Pokémon and new battle modes!
Are you planning on picking up DX and did you buy the original Pokkén Tournament? Personally I’m looking forward to purchasing it when it launches!

The Z Ring that the player wears at the end of the trailer is an Ula’Ula Ring. In SM we wore a Melemele Ring because we lived there. It’s not guaranteed, but it’s at least likely that we now live on Ula’Ula. (Why would we get that Ring if we’re from a different island?)

Why couldn’t Pokken have been a better game?!?!?! I love fighting games so when they announced a Pokemon one I was stoked! The controls are just so terrible. If they had made it more closely resemble it’s namesake Tekken then it really could have been a MUCH better game. the whole snap to and from close and long distance mechanic is just awful……What a freaking waste of a Pokemon game title…….

I’ve seen this on Bulbagarden. It does appear that Nanu’s Z ring matches the one from the trailer. Question is what does this mean? Do we get our Z ring from Nanu instead of Hala? Do we get multiple rings and can swap between them? It’s still a big mystery lol
I could very well be wrong, but I don’t think you’d wear a Ring that’s not indicative of the island you came from. The fact that you get the Melemele Ring from Tapu Koko proves that they’re quite special and seen as important to the locals.
True. That said it’s clear that your character is still from Meleme as we are seen in the hoping scene inside our normal house which is still very much on Melemele. I wonder if maybe the Kahunas could be swapped around. Nanu being on Melemele. It’d be interesting to see characters show up earlier or later than they did in SM lol

Question: Does Magcargo have btter defenses than Slugma? I’m at a point where my Slugma is Bing taken down relatively easily. It’s almost about to evolve, but I’m worried that even after it does it still won’t be able to take hits
It has triple the Physical Defense and Double the Special Defense. Just remember it really can’t take Water or Ground attacks and is now weak to Fighting.

I usually try to keep my Pokemon up against types they’r good against anyway. the fighting type is what I’ll have to look out for, but even then I’ll prolly be using my Crobat at that point anyway lol

Yeah, cemu. I’ve been a huge Dolphin fan. It does require ripping your own games to preserve integrity of the rom and a beefy pc, but nothing out of the ordinary. Xenoblade 1 looks soo good on Dolphin.

Weird. Did you try the 5.0 stable release? It should have no issues nor require any keys when loading a rom. If a game won’t boot it’s a rom issue since Dolphin now has 100% boot up compatability.

VBA-M is still maintained. Dolphin is the best and only option if you want Gamecube/Wii games. The emulator is so advanced you can’t even imagine how great it runs 😛

Xenoblade is very much improved on Dolphin, as are the Super Mario Galaxy games. If you map things correctly, you can also play with a Dualshock 4 or whatever you want to use. Games also run at stable framerate if your pc has a decent cpu and gpu, so no fps dips like on the Wii. Because the writers wanted Ash to have a Mega, yet keep that tradition in tact where he only uses Pokemon native to the region

It was really unnecessary for him to lose again. Had he won he still wouldn’t be a Pokemon Master. He would still want to go to other regions and still have the same drive to win.
Genuinely never saw the logic behind it. And apparently it was a last-minute decision as well, they were initially planning on letting him win.
It almost feels by this point it would actually be demoralising for him, it certainly is as a viewer.

Rowlet reminds me a bit of his Oshawott but it has deeper backstory. If it at least becomes a Dartrix, i’d be satisfied. Decidueye not really an Ash Pokemon, although it would be cool if he finally has a Ghost type
I feel like because of the way it is it will just be an unconventional Decidueye, like how his other Pokemon have kept character traits throughout evolution.

What are the reasons behind them? I think I get the Charmander, Yanma, Doduo and Snorunt lines.
-Snorunt changed to Ice during the Ice age which spared it from death, but changed its type. Goalie cause it looks kinda like a Rock already and Froslass just to keep Normal so the evolution wasn’t completely haywire
-Golduck to justify its Psychic attacks and cause its similar to platypus’s and they use venom
-Bagon actually has no reason I just like it Fire type instead
-Rhyhorn are based now on Brontotherium also called “Thunder beast in Latin”
-and Treeko just to give it a neat new idea

That sounds like a good idea. There will definetly be more prehistorics though so maybe something like a swellow were its predator all that time ago
I think it needs to be something a Fighting typing would be helpful for that would change later.

It’s Snow Problem. I might be worse off. I only have 5 Pokémon left and I am at Aether Paradise. I am going to have to fight 20+ trainers including Guzma and Lusamine before the next route. My Pokémon are a little bit underleveld compared to the two of them but As I said there are ~20 trainers. There has been a lot of death in my nuzlocke.

A special kid becomes one of the few recently evolved humans that obtains a Pokemon a special Psychic type that fell from the sky. So you receive a special thing Prof. Fern wants you to fill of the Pokemon (basically the first Pokedex) and challenge the 6 Leaders of the area and battle Team Cave led by the 6th Leader whom is the leader of the gang to control the Legendary and cross time in a worm hole. Upon defeating him you fight whats called the Elite Guards (the E4) and the King (Champion) to become King of the past
After that it creates a large post game of sub challenges that explain stuff like (Necrozma, Mew, ect.) Then you obtain from the still remnant time hole, the Observer a secondary Pokedex that explains how Prehistoric forms became the forms we know and love.
That is literally the whole plot of the game and post game so whatcha think?
Pretty cool. My idea was kind of like Flint the Time Detective crossed with the game Ark where you are sent to the ancient past on a mission and you are sent stuff from the future to help you and you can buy stuff from the future at special merchant link points. I think mine is probably more suited to a spin-off title though.
I think Pokemon pre-history can be vastly different from our own, so I think it should be early human civilisation as opposed to something like caveman times. I’m thinking like the humans in Ice Age.
Although I like the idea that the leader is kind of Neanderthal like in stature.

I have yet to play SM but they alongside the anime give me the impression that gen 7 is a simplified generation that focus on qulaity over quantity.
Whilst for me it’s a must to have feature rich poke games I think after 6 long generations it’s nice to take a more simplistic approach in SM. I’m sure USUM will be the feature rich games again..

Teaching Feitan Rock Tomb really paid itself off. Guzma’s Golisopod was still crazy tough. It nearly took out Feitan and Gon and took several Rock Tomb’s and a First Impression. If only they gave it an ability like Intimidate. It would definitely be OU.

I tried checking my old (second) Animal Crossing Wild World game (the first one got stolen) and put it in the DSi. “No game card inserted”. Put another game in the DSi, that got recognised, but AC in my 3DS, no luck. I was almost beyond broken when I knew there was a chance in cleaning the contact with a qtip and some rubbing alcohol. So I tried that, and nope. I had almost given up when I tried cleaning a second time and this time it worked!

I’m considering getting a Guardians Rising booster box from Amazon. I used to be the biggest fan of collecting them but it must have been 7 or more years since I opened one. Might as well start again with the newest set, right?
Not a bad choice, but make sure you always buy a shrink wrapped box from an official retailers. Unfortunately, booster packs can easily be sorted to find the EX/rare holofoil ones (it’s always the third booster if you go down the pile) and therefore buying single boosters are likely sorted ones.
Always buy booster Boxes off Amazon. If you look at the Pokemon center site they’re like $50 more expensive there. Pokemon be price gouging. I’m also considering buying a booster box at some point. I’ve bought a couple for my channel and they were fun to open. Problem is money. Gotta pay bill first before unloading $100+ on Pokemon cards lol Maybe I”ll wait for Burning Shadow and that way I can get one closer to release date lol
The one I’m looking at is $88, which is a bit steep but honestly not as bad as I was expecting. The seller is also highly rated so…what could possibly go wrong? I might wait for Burning Shadows at this point as well, but I need to see what’s in the set.
No really $88 is a good price. Most boxes are at least $100. The PC has the newer ones for like $140. Either way getting it for $100 or less is a good deal seeing as the average price of each pack is $4-5

My Incineroar had a nature that decreases ‘a defenses. It’s only Fire Move is Fire Fang. If that did not do the trick it would have been one-shotted by Hammer Arm. In the upcoming match I will be relying on Alluka because she will probably have learned Moonblast by then.
What’s the special attack like? You could teach Fire Blast and use Firium Z.

I’m down to only 3 Pokémon. And there are really only 7 more places to catch Pokémon for me and that includes the Legendar-who I am not planning to use in my playthrough. Considering how strong Bewear was against my team and that I have to face Lusamine again. I am going to need to make sure I get something that I can use against her or that Alluka the Shiinotic is strong enough when it learns Moonblast to solo it.

Favorite: Giovanni and Rhyperior, Giovanni is not only the leader of a powerful crime syndicate he is also the strongest Gym Leader in Kanto and though it is pretty much manga exclusive he is a extremely knowlegable master of Ground type pokemon even going as far as writing a book on them (Mysteries of the Earth and even being dubbed Giovanni of the Land) and discovering that Rhydon could evolve further, and as for Rhyperior he is basically me in pokemon for, a towering behemoth coated in rocky plates and drills and even going far as having a club on its tail which is totally me and its once signature attack Rock Wrecker just screams power
Least Favorite: Hapu and Wormadam, Hapu is just somebody that didn’t leave a lasting impression on me, she just barely registered her presence or her ideology (or i haven’t paid too close attention, and as for the Bagworm it is truly the worst it would’ve been better as a Rock type

i always find a Ground type and make it on my team no matter what and a young Earthen once spent literal day on pokemon Red looking for a Sandshrew to match the toy one he kept with him all the time, in his pocket in bed and the freaking tub and cried for days when he lost it at the beach

It's better than rock in every aspect, the Mons have a nice variety within its Mons and some of them are very interesting (Golurk, Claydol and Flygon. Who have nice designs) They're are very powerful and honestly, there are a lot of mons in this type that I like, like Camerupt Torrtera and Palossand.
And they're the best earthquake spammers out there.

Hapu isn’t really a “nice girl.” She’s more of a “country girl” type character if anything, which is where her ground type comes from

She’s written (in the English version at least) with an accent though. I think her clothes fit her personality and demeanor, you could change them, but not away from something that says “small town country farm girl” in my opinion. Ground fits her well enough.
Now that I think about it, a lot of types just don’t really fit their trainers. Look at the basic ass psychic experts who all have psychic abilities because GF isn’t creative enough to connect other ideas with the psychic type. Lucian I guess is the most creative there. Psychic trainers are a snooze fest. And then we have random ass Acerola who is for some reason a ghost expert. I guess at least she’s different and not edgy. I also suppose though that you can specialize in a type that doesn’t necessarily match your personality and appearance, but GF likes to try and pair the two things. You don’t see Nanu as a fairy type Kahuna, now do you

When I picture ground trainers, I think of hikers, so for me, the typical ground trainer was the thought country guy, but I haven’t realized how much variety they really have until now :0
FP: This is hard… I think it may be a tie this time between Rhydon and Trapinch. I seriously cant pick one. Rhydon is one of the coolest Mid-stage Pokemon and can easily pass off as a final evolution (as it did for 3 generations). And its not as fat as its final evolution. Its still slim enough to chase after you, and can be used in battle. Trapinch is just so cute. I love its star eye, and its adorable big mouth. I like how it digs sand traps. Thats a pretty cool concept. And it has the same attack stat as Flygon (Flygon is disappointing).
FL: Clay. I like his country accent. He isnt a mean person either. And Like all his gold. he’s definitely high class. Hes also got pretty cool Pokemon. Excadrill ace is always nice.
LP: Rhyperior. Incredible how the Final evolution is now my Least Favorite. But its just so ugly to me. The ‘bulk’ just looks like a bunch of fat. With Eviolite Introduced Im pretty sure Rhydon is the better wall. Just wish Rhydon got Solid Rock. That whole trade evolution is also bogus. Just a bad Pokemon. Its only use is Evioliting Rhydon.
LL: Giovanni. Its not that I dislike Giovanni. I just think its weird hes a ground type leader. And in FRLG he doesnt even use Rhydon. Just a level 50 Rhyhorn. What type of bogus is that?
General Thoughts. Ground types are ok… It was hard for me to find a favorite. If I put all the types together they just dont appeal to me. EQ is the only good thing from me. They are definitely on the lower half the spectrum of favorite types.

Why are they maiking a core Pokemon game for a console (which obviously will be cancelled or moved to the 3DS successor, hopefully)? Why is it that the Pokemon series is in shingles now a days? Whaaaaaaaat are you talking about? First of all the series isn’t in shambles. Second the Switch game isn’t gonna get cancelled. Third iwata being gone doesn’t have a direct influence in the creation of Pokemon game. Sure he gave them ideas and certainly was behind some of the biggest things on the series, but him being gone won’t change things that dramatically

I hope in USUM they bring back something similar to Black Tower/White Treehollow for the post game. It was so much fun climbing the tower! I was able to use my actual team and it felt like I was actually doing something constructive rather than feeling like I was climbing a never ending ladder with almost impossible trainers to beat on it. Unless you REALLY know your stuff about the metagame things like the battle tree are useless to regular peeps. At least Black Tower and White Treehollow felt accessible.

You probably shouldn’t use a plot from a pretty well known play… Try to be creative and find one of your own! I had a phase more than half a year ago where I really wanted to write a play. I had (in my opinion) a pretty solid plot. I didn’t write anything though. I pretty much abandoned it when I started making my game.

ARMS drives me absolutely insane, I end up cursing multiple times under my breath each match because I suck so badly at Ranked. This is no kids game from Nintendo. Anyway, I finished playing Puppeteer this morning (an incredible PS3 game you probably haven’t heard of), and I’m going to start God of War 2 next. To keep it Pokemon-related, I’m also planning on starting XD and maybe a bit of Pearl/Moon later on.
How do you fit all this in one day?
I work every day during the week so I can do nothing over the weekend 🙂

I don’t actually play that much, I take a lot of breaks. And usually I end up playing less than I want to play.
Oh, I tend to do the opposite, I get engrossed in a game, lose track of time and get a headache.
Lately I’ve been trying to beat a short game over the course of a weekend. Last week was long so I did the Journey Collection and Until Dawn, then this weekend I did Puppeteer. I have a big backlog of quality games and I’m going to slow my game purchasing down until I can get through more of them.
I tend to get into stuff (And I mean really into stuff), and then lose interest after a while. There are some exceptions.
Yeah, I know what you mean. Although I have an obsessive nature and tend to find it hard to stop until I complete the bit I’m on even if I’ve lost interest/enthusiasm or got majorly annoyed with it.

Obsessive Compulsive. It has many aspects for me, being clean is probably the biggest one, as well as doing things a certain amount of times. But there’s more than those and it affects everything really.
I think I have OCD too, but it hasn’t been diagnosed. Like, I have to keep my amiibo in a certain order, or keep my game cases straight in the shelf I put them on. Oddly enough, I don’t obsessively clean my room.

For anyone into the TCG, can you explain the whole “Hyper Rare” thing to me? I see that there’s normal GX, full-art GX and then a whole set of rainbow full-art GX and it seems very redundant.
I think it’s literally just a collectors thing so you can show it off and feel specials that you found it.
Initially I’d want to say it’s lame but I actually think it’s really cool. I just wish they did it the same way they did in the past with fewer, yet more valuable secret rares.
I’ve seen a few box openings where you get 1 secret rare in a booster pack box. It seems expensive.
They’re not, though. Most of them can be bought for $10-15 online, with only the most used competitive cards fetching a high price.

The plot was awesome which characters that had lots of development, the legendaries were integrated well, and the Pokémon designs were all very creative and inspired

Just clocked the time between reveal & next main info dump of previous Pokémon games:

B2W2: 1.5 months

ORAS: 1.5 months
SM: 2.5 months
I was just doing some of the math myself. They didn’t even reveal the covers for B2W2 until 101 days before release. 18 days after annonuncement. USUM was announced ~160 days before its release and we are right now in ~120s. This is my opinion, but I played both BW and B2W2 an I’d say my experience playing both was fun. So I am not stressing that much over the fact that we haven’t had any info thrown at us.

I always forget that BW2 had a really small time line between the first info release and it’s release. that said it was in the time when releases were staggered for international audiences and that in it’s own way can justify the short timing. FP: Druddigon- I love the crimson head and the blue body. This pokemon just screams cool awesome! and I know a lot of pokemon hate this pokemon, but I dont see how! The spikes man! This pokemon is just so awesome. Though it may not be the best in battle, it can still do some work!
Fave Leader: Clair. Just like her strong personality! She has so much confidence and such a big ego. I can see why! Her pokemon are really good!
LP: Vibrava. This pokemon embodies disappointment. It cant do anything good. And its evolution mega is scrapped. Its first stage has higher base attack! Vibrava is disappointing.
LL: Drasna! Shes just a sweet old lady… Thats it. Her pokemon arent good… Shes not good.
Thoughts? Who doesnt like Dragon types? (Earthen? Yea probably not) They are easily one of if not my favorite. I had a hard time looking for LEAST favorite. Dragon types were so strong they needed a nerf! They have such cool designs and they seriously are have the best pokemon.
I think Drasna would have a better character if they focused less on Diantha and gave her something interesting (Like Malva got a small something, but no one else? Malva was the worst E4 imo of Kalos too)
Favorite: Iris/ and i am having a gigantic moral crisis between Kommo-o and Garchomp both representing dragons with each of my signature types….to chose between a savage land shark that can tear a foe to pieces and shred through land like nothing or a a dragon paladin bent on training harder and harder never giving up…….but its no surprise i always loved Iris, she just shows a love, dedication and passion for Dragons which i highly respect also she gots spunk
Least favorite: Altaria and Drasna: hate the floof bird and Drasna much like the other Kalos elite four barely got any screen time to develop a characteristic
as for Dagons; i could take em or leave em, they are annoying to fight monotype because everyone loads up of legends and pseudo legends (i know its hard not to but still not a easy task to fight)

Personally I love Dragon types, it’s in my top 5, but then I have always loved Dragons since before Pokemon so maybe that’s part of it. Other favourites of this type: Dratini line; Kingdra; Flygon; Altaria (+Mega); Bagon line (+Mega); the Lati@s duo (+Mega); Rayquaza (+Mega); Gible line; Dialga; Giratina (both formes); Axew line; Deino line; Druddigon (grew to like after using it to catch Groudon); Reshiram; Dragalge; Tyrunt line; Goomy line; Noibat line; Zygarde (+formes); Jangmo-O line.
I do think they are perhaps treated with a bit more disdain than they deserve at times. Also well done to GF for balancing it with a type that is more OP than it.
I also like Dragon Moves, they often look really cool.
Favorite: Flygon as much I like this typing and have a few other favorite Dragons, Flygon will always have a special place to me since it was the very first Dragon type Pokemon I’ve ever used. And ever since I would always have it apart of my team in a playthrough if you could catch a Trapinch in game. Seriously I have at least 6 in bank from using it so much xD

Plot twist: they have fucking nothing on USUM to show because they shifted development of the games not so long ago, with the Switch game supposed to take place this year but Nintendo made them delay it due to Switch supply issues and potential for bigger sales next year. There really isn’t a particular reason. I didn’t play the original and I loved oot 3d, and every where I went on the internet everyone was going crazy about mm3d. But when I played it, it just seemed boring. The dungoens where few and the few ones were bad,the plot seemed like it was thrown together without any real thought,i heard the sidequests were the best part but there were only one 2 ones. It wasn’t as dark as people made it out to be and the theories about the games plot was just overthinking.
I think I’d have to agree. It’s naturally a very divise game, but I feel it doesn’t live up to the rest of the Zelda. I don’t like ingame timers and for me Zelda is all about peaceful exploring and puzzle solving at your own pace, where MM leaves a bit of a sour taste everytime.
Also, it is also a very confusing game, with you having a hard time knowing where you need to go. Compare that to BotW, which has little handholding, but makes exploration and finding your own path become a satisfying experience rather than a chore.
I wouldn’t even be mad, because lots of people insist that it will come out in 2019.

Making a show IS hard, but when hundreds if not thousands of other companies and studios are able to make consistent art there really is no excuse. People and groups can have off days, but getting used to degenerating art styles is poor work ethic. Art styles can change for shows like this, character designs too, but one thing that must stay is the quality of art they produce. They’re professionals so they shouldn’t push out half ass work.

No other show does this. Their art always improves. They always have extensive references, height charts and a good understanding of their characters.
Just look at Avatar the Last Airbender. A show with a complex anime influenced artstyle with very complicated and fast animation. That show ALWAYS manages to stay on model (other than short gags or certain inbetweens)
Same goes for King Of The Hill. That show may not have crazy animation but its always on model.
It is unacceptable for professional artists and animators to turn out art THIS bad when they have shown they can do better. The best animated episode was Mindful Education and thats only because they had another studio help them.

Depends on if they think the audience will be high enough for it to be profitable in cinemas. I saw the first Pokemon movie at the cinema, for some reason they didn’t release the others after that, which is weird ’cause I think it made loads of moneys. Yeah and speaking of movies, one thing I’m very surprised at though is in America they showed Yo-kai Watch the movie in 70ish theaters across the country for one day. Really shocks me they still put it on the big screen even though the game sold poorly in comparison of bigger titles (yet still no sign almost a year later of becoming a DVD :/)

I agree that haven’t been doing too good of a job with explaining what USUM truly is. I am hoping that they will do a new trailer sometime this month or next. I think they need to start advertising for it soonish. It comes out in November so I think that they need to start doing trailers sometime this month or next if they are planning on recovering some good faith, since a lot of my friends that preorder USUM have canceled their preorders. I usually wait for the first good trailer and then I go and preorder whichever copy of the game I want. I think most of the staff are working on whichever main series game that is coming out for the switch. I think that is the main focus, but still think they need to be advertising and promoting USUM. I figure they could potentially give the tapu’s alternative forms like they did with the therian forms for the genie trio.

In BW its no suprise very few Pokemon by that gym have an advantage over Emolga only being Dwebble and Roggenrola (and the fossil, but they both have a weakness to Volt Switch and are very inaccessible) and both of these two are low encounters in off-road areas with only a handful of useful moves each and both aren’t immune or resistant to Volt Switch making them a very unreliable use unless you can utilize some of their quality points
Just get Rock Tomb in the Desert, teach it to Sandile,Drilbur or whatever and break Emolga that way.

I just hate playing their mind games just so I can buy a single game. So many times they’ve lost preorders or tried to up sell me or one time even I went in there to just browse and ended up buying a blister pack of Pokemon cards. then when I was checking out the guy asked me if he could open the pack to he could have the pin inside…….Never again………..

Gamstop clearly has some weird mandates like having their employees try to up sell or like how I mentioned where they open new games instead of just selling you them plastic wrapped. It’s basically so they can turn around and keep you from returning games you don’t want and forcing you to take a smaller chunk of change. Like if a family member went there to buy a present, but you didn’t want what they got and tried to return it. They’d basically have license to tell you they can’t give you the full amount as it was opened already. It’s such a scam

So I beat Clair last night. All my Pokemon were level 36. I ended up having Bellossom poison Kingdra which was the biggest obstacle. Honestly thinking tho Gyarados was the hardest Pokemon on her team for me. Don’t have a electric type so rock was all I had and both my Pokemon with rock moves were potentially at risk to water type moves. Either way once the both of them were down I had my Mamoswine take care of the two Dragonairs. It was really much more simple than I thought it’d be lol
Fighting Clair was a massacre for me.

I think I’m just being cautious. Normally I’d be all over jumping to conclusions and hoping for the best, but USUM have me in a weird place. Ok so there’s two way I suppose. The first is ok, but it has it’s merits. You can go to that beach town in the south east and there’s a gambling game you can try. You can soft reset for money from there. Baically save before you play the game then try every chest until you get it. Not a fan of that tho. Least favorite Pokémon is either Bibarel, although that has some love in it due to HM slave so I’ll go with Volcanion. That dude is really ugly. Cress is also the least interesting leader, didn’t really like the triplet thingie.
Overall, I give water type a 7.8/10.
FP: Politoed- Man I had so many options, but I gotta go with Politoed. I love how silly this Pokemon is (in the anime) and the Swirl on its stomach and Belly. Though I used to think this pokemon was Water/Grass, but nonetheless I love it, and with its new found Drizzle ability this Pokemon was top tier in gen 5! Loved the Politoed Appreciation
FL: Juan. A lot of people hate Juan because ‘replaced’ Wallace. You guys dont understand Juan trained Wallace! Wallace being a gym leader was just part of the training. Juan is better than Wallace. Wallace might have ‘became’ champ, but he definitely didnt deserve it.
LP: Pelliper. It may be nice have you top drizzle user like Politoed, BUT I will never forget all the annoying Pellipers in emerald. With Protect that always worked. Im so glad roost wasnt introduced then. (This was a stretch pick I like almost all water types)
LL: Cress. What was his personality? They should have been latergym wise, and used Triple/Rotation battle! It would have been perfect.
Thoughts: Like I said, I like water types. They are such an amazing type. Definitely Top 5 Pokemon types. There barely is a water type I dislike, and they are good in battle too! Good Type/18

Does everyone have a state ID? I read that not every American has a ID he/she can always use and the types of valid ID someone has can differ a lot from person to person.
Always found it be a weird practice, here we all have a nationwide electronic ID, which has the size of a credit card and features a chip with data on it. It’s used to verify your identity online (like doing taxes online, applying for a scholarship), the doctor uses it to check your insurance and medical history and your address is on the chip so it can be changed easily when you move.
You technically don’t NEED and id. It’s just that having some identification helps a lot
But what do you do when someone doesn’t believe you’re 21 when ordering a beer? Or the police takes you along for interogation, how do they know who you are?
Well if you’re driving without a license then you’re in trouble. Ina very simple sense you don’t need to have an id, BUT if you want to do things like drive and buy alcohol then yes you do. There’s no law saying that you NEED it, but being able to do things require it.
Most people use their Driver’s license as their ID in the US (and most people in US have a license, its pretty much needed), but if you dont have a liscense then an ID is needed

Why would it be strict? You’re in ten government databases anyway since they need it for education and healthcare purposes and to know where you live. Having an ID from age 12 helps identifying kids when something goes wrong or when they want to order a beer at age 16.
Eh when you put it that way I suppose…The things going wrong healthcare part anyway. Here most place card anyway so it doesn’t make too much difference if kids have ids or not. If a restaurant/store don’t think yo’re old enough just by looking at you then they ask for id anyway. Some ask regardless of what age you look.
18? I wish it were 18 here. 16 is too young for driving IMO, but but besides permit (sbasically a mini license obtained at 15) there is no identification for people under 16. Parents have to go out and do those “If my child gets lost” cards that is not required at all.
It’s surprisingly hard to fail a driving test here… I did so poorly on my first one — hit a cone while parking, messed up my 3 point turn, etc. The passing criteria allowed you to get like 20 points deducted out of 40 or 50 I think? And keep in mind we’re tested on stupid easy things like how you handle turning a corner.
Not to brag, but I only got 5 points off my score. And it was for driving TOO safely……..Well I think it was mostly for driving too sluggishly, but I disagree with that lol
I think test difficulty are the same, most people do fail their first time. It also depends on location since it is common that on of the driving facilities is much easier to pass than other. But Driver’s test are usually ‘easy’ they test on the basics. I passed with flying colors, but I still was obviously bad at some aspects (like turning). Plus you need to miss 30 points which is a lot. Personally the permit test wwas much harder
Permit test was definitely harder. That was more about like the rules of the road (which can be super specific), and signs (which are generally easy because the picture tells you what it’s for). I was way more nervous about it than my driving test. Given that I was 15 for my permit and 18 for my license, had a lot of driving practice. Cones are just my worst enemy — I do much better with actual cars. And I can parallel park perfectly, but they don’t test you on that!
I looked up the criteria again for Florida’s driving test, and there’s a lot of easy stuff on there (like backing up, starting and stopping, etc.). And there’s definitely differences. I did my test on one of the practice course things they had, my brother did his on an actual road. In Florida we don’t have to park uphill, because there aren’t hills. We just say how we would park verbally (also got points deducted there because I didn’t start by saying “put the car in park”…I assumed it would be already).
Don’t you need to do a firearms test in Florida in case you get caught up in a road rage incident? 😉
Hitting a cone while parking would mean your test immediately stops and you’ve failed. Hell, speeding 2 miles is a big error and one more strike and it’s also over.

No, those of us in the US don’t have anything like that. The closest thing is your Social Security number, maybe even your driver’s licence. The problem is that not everyone has a form of ID.
I know when I go to the doctor, they ask for my driver’s licence (because pretty much everyone has one) and my health insurance card. Then on the paperwork they usually ask for the last 4 digits of my Social Security.
Even with your SSN tho you prolly don’t need it in every day life. Most of the time it’s for banking and other very specific things lol

what i mean is, when you hold shield etc. you charge up your arms to activate stronger damage as well as the added effect such as fire, ice, shock, even air to spin your opponent. for max brass when he is at low enough health, he keeps his arms charged so all his attacks have the added effect. imagine a max brass with twintelle’s ice arms. he would be able to constantly freeze if he manages to make contact

How useful is the Ancient armor when fighting guardians? Like, if you miss a perfect guard, do you still get a lot of damage?
No idea, but I went out to grind a bunch of ancient cores and got the full set just to look cool
im not entirely certain but i believe it cuts damage by half. something cool to note, the ancient shield i believe can reflect the lazers from the big guardians youll find on the ground that cant move but turn when you get close enough and try to hit you with the lazer
It’s basically necessary at some points, unless you stuff yourself with food. A full set of the Ancient armor knocks damage down to maybe a heart and a half per shot.

Same, Nintendo first-party games (and now some accessories) are basically instant buys as long as I can afford it. I usually wait for sales on Playstation games, but I do eventually find time to branch out and play those games. Very close to my heart in the same way as Nintendo, yet not Nintendo, is Media Molecule who made LittleBigPlanet and Tearaway. They’re making a new PS4 game called Dreams releasing next year and that’s the only PlayStation impulse buy I can imagine.

SAMUROTT IS NOT A SEA LION! Bulbapedia is wrong! As its name suggests It’s an otter. A sea otter. You may say: but it looks like a sea lion! Yes, BUT it also fits a sea otter, even more than a sea lion!
1-it has fingers! Sea lions do not!
2-the tail may not look like a tail of an otter, but some spiecies of sea otters have tails just like Samurott!

I have to disagree. While its my least favorite of the three, I don’t see how everything is awful. I assumed that the primary grievance most people had against it was that it differed from its pre-evolutions (and became bipedal)
I would’ve liked Incineroar to be quadroped (and have a different name), but still like how it is now. Granted, it’s far from perfect, but it’s still cool.
