Brand new, official Pokémon merch is coming to Uniqlo!

Every year popular Japanese clothing brand, Uniqlo, holds their annual UTGP t-shirt design contest; partnering with major brands and companies such as Pixar and Star Wars in the past – this year’s collaborator was none other than Nintendo! Over 16,000 entries were submitted and judged by Shigeru Miyamoto himself, but ultimately only 25 designs featuring characters and themes from Nintendo properties such as Super Mario, The Legend of Zelda, Metroid, Pikmin and, of course, Pokémon, were chosen. Check out the Pokémon designs that made the cut!

The Nintendo collection will be available for purchase on Uniqlo’s online store tonight, and in physical stores worldwide starting tomorrow. More details and the other designs can be found at Uniqlo’s official site.

  5. I mean it’s not the first time something Nintendo announced was at 9pm. The new 2ds xl was at 9:40pm. But who knows if this is actually a Nintendo announcement and not just a way to hack a switch

    • Yeah the more I think about it the more I think it’ll just be something about hacking the Switch. Once again JP himself told me it’s not Pokemon related and it seems like a weird time for Nintendo to be announcing anything brand new just yet. Plus have they ever announced anything on a Friday night(for the west) and Saturday morning (for Japan)? Seems like a weird time for them to do it.

  24. It’s so fun playing MK8 Deluxe online and being greeted with a communication error every 3-4 races. Totally looking forward to having to pay for this garbage.

          • Someone leaving the race impacts everyone else? Thought that was only in friend lobbies if the host leaves the race.

          • I thought it was just Switch Internet being garbage. That’s a problem that needs to be fixed if that’s what is causing the communication errors.

          • well it is, literally the only place i get a stable connection is in my basement
            try to play it in my room, nothing, living room, nuthing,
            i try to play it outside….nothing but sometimes i like the fresh air but then again the wifi outside is crap, and they try to connect to my Dad’s office

            i’m rambling, but point is most of my races have been ending with some jerkass DCing right when i win and its happening a lot

            Lately I have a stalker who always joins me in the lobby I’m in. Anytime I come online, a race later bam he’s in the lobby. Error happens, I join again, a race later, bam, there he is again. Some guy named AlexisCL
