It’s the same as the 3DS though.
a New 3ds pushed to its limits had on average a 4 hour battery. That included playing an intense game in 3d with max brightness. 3 hours average isn’t very good.

Why people were saying that mother 3 will come to the switch anyway?
LKD, someone seen as giving good leaks stated that it was coming and was likely to be shown during the show. The game however is seen as the ultimate leak to stake your career on. If it fails, then it shows that either her sources are bad at best, or she lied for profit at worst.
Yeah but Mother 3 had been in talks for a while. 1 UP even had a new poster and were saying Mother 3 is coming.
And the Mother 3 devs WERE at the Direct, so things are still tentative.
Yeah, but this is the last chance it really has to come. People said it was coming in 2016, and 2015 as well. The problem is the game’s not only somewhat difficult to translate, but localization would be a nightmare since there are a lot of things that would probably have to be altered, and likely resulting in a call for a boycott for changing the game that fans have been calling for.
I’ve never played a Zelda game and honestly I never planned to….

Hard to say. I’d lean more to a direct sequel since that sword does look very much like a Manado, and this could take place in a world after the events of the first game. Granted I never finished the first game since I’m really bad at finishing games(every character on my save file is lv. 97-99, and I’ve done every possible sidequest in the game but I got bored and never finished it.) So please tell me if a direct sequel couldn’t happen for story reasons.

I think 20-25 is a way better estimate. The WiiU literally sold 1/10 of what the Wii did. It killed a lot of what Nintendo had going. The Switch is going to have to do better than this. I think it’s cool and all, but the launch lineup blows completely.
If it catches on in Japan as a viable handheld gaming device and they don’t release a “true” successor to 3DS, it’ll break 50 without a problem. Nintendo has too many developments teams to ever have a truely bad drought. Plus third party support is at least back to early Wii U standards. I think it’ll pass Xbone up super fast regardless.
We’ll see…I kind of expect them to kill the 3DS off within the next 2 years anyway.

Competition is good for the market. Sorry, but Nintendo is hardly competition for Sony anymore unless we’re talking handheld.

The scorpio or whatever it is just needs to impress. The unveiling of the xbox one is what killed it. Literally it was like $100 overpriced and was just awful. That’s why the ps4 is curbstomping it. Gamers jumped ship right then and there. They still have some franchises that keep people coming back though (mainly halo)

Depends what you’re looking for. If you want the best FPS this gen and also the most supported one, you’re gonna want Halo 5. The story is meh, but a majority don’t play Halo for the story.

In all honesty, I haven’y enjoyed a Zelda game since WW. I’m not going to be picking up BotD, but Nintendo really knocked this game out of the park in visuals. Now here’s hoping that the Gameplay will be good enough.

SS is great, but fighting demise as the big monster thing happened too many times and running around trying to find the light droplets or whatever without getting caught was so stressful. The desert place was also way too big. Still loved the game though (you can tell I haven’t played in a while)
Agreed for the most part. The 3rd Demise battle def gave me a headache. And the droplets were stressful, but, for me, more of a stress that you laugh off after completing the task. And I actually like how massive the desert is. But i get where you’re coming from.
It was just kind of hard to move around the desert for me. No good pathways to connect the different areas. I liked the forest realm and the water one better in SS.

I didn’t really like LBW. It was ok, but I played it more for the sake of playing it then enjoying it. I didn’t care for the darker, murky visuals of TP and I hate motion controls so SS was never for me.
