The first patch for Pokémon Sun & Moon is here!
Now available on the eShop, this patch brings the Generation VII games up to Version 1.1 and brings a few minor updates to Alola:
- Fixes the Z-Memento and Z-Parting Shot Battle Spot glitch
- Fixes the winner of a game if Rocky Helmet knocks the opponent out when you get knocked out first glitch
- Fixes Pokémon not learning moves upon evolution
The patch is 296 blocks and is required for online play and to participate at official Pokémon events. On a related note, Battle Videos from Version 1.0 cannot be viewed in Version 1.1.
Bout time they fixed this, but where is the Bank update, This deer is curious…
There’s one more less obvious (and almost only the dataminers can tell) fix: Battle Tree Roster.
* The infamous Kommo-o with the illegal move “Shell Smash” loses it and it gets replaced by Draco Meteor.
* A Hawlucha set was replaced by a Pidgeot set.

Not a very good update to be honest, there wasn’t even anything major or worthy to update for. If the Pkmn-Bank update came with it I’d be happy but what kind of bozo made this useless update?
They fixed glitches

Yeah that’s the big update I’m waiting for but this is good for everyone that battles. But also did anyone here experience the move level up bug? Looking back i might have but I’m not sure.
You mean for Kadabra? If so then yeah! Because I decided to use it in my first playthrough.
Some other mons that evolve got both their “evo move” and “level-up move” at the same time when evolving, but Kadabra only gets Kinesis (the evo move) instead of both that and Confusion (the level-up move for level 16), making it as much of a dead weight as Abra until its gets Psybeam at a higher level or the player gets the Psychic TM for finishing the first visit to Aether Paradise.

I mean, they might help the people suffering from the glitches.
If there’s any glitches other than Z-Parting/Memento I heard it only affected people hacking/editing their saves, it can place their character outside the map.

Does this mean A-Marowak will learn Shadow Bone when it evolves from Cubone? I was pretty mad that I had to get almost to the League and find the Move Reminder before my Ghost Marowak could learn Shadow Bone.
