Just a day after Pokémon GO’s release on the Apple Watch, Niantic has revealed the holiday event for the ever popular mobile game!
December 25th until January 3rd
- Get a one time use Incubator each day on your first PokéStop spin of the day
- All the recently baby Pokémon’s eggs will be more likely to be obtained from PokéStops during this time period as well
- Previously only set to appear until December 29th, the Festive Hat Pikachu will be now be available in the wild until January 3rd
December 30th – January 8th
- Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle and their evolutionary lines are more likely to be encountered during this time
- Lure modules will last for 60 minutes instead of the usual 30 minutes
Strangely, even though the presents are in the image they used, Niantic didn’t explain the mystery gifts found in the APK.

It keeps people coming back while ensuring stability in the app. They likely will not update large amounts of Pokemon just to make sure the app and their servers can handle it, then move up in small increments from there. Episode 11(?) The one called Giant Woman is great. Mirror Gem and Ocean Gem (25?) is a two part special and is really good, then it takes a bit but the episode Alone Together(37) is great. So is Warp Tour(36). But then Rose’s Scabbard (45) Onward its great. It dips a bit in the middle of season 2 but once you enter season 3 its at its height

Yeah but its worth it. Season 1 still is amazing though half way through. Season 1 for some reason is 50 episodes long (only 10 minutes each though) but all others are 25 episodes so its weird. But yeah dont go into it thinking its going to suck all the way until Season 2 because there is alot of good to it. Cat Fingers gets surprisingly dark btw

Not completely it’s a good Trick Room Pokemon. And Araquanid isnt that great in 6v6 singles. It does well in Battle Tree and 3v3 Battle Spot.

I don’t doubt what it can do under the correct circumstances. I just find it quite lacklustre overall in a 6v6 battle.

I can tell you, as a person that uses it on all of his competitive teams this gen, that as long as it has a bit of support, it will BODY anything in its path

Personally I wouldn’t, but I just like putting the work in if I’m playing on cartridge.
So I’m prepping a Smeargle to use for Shiny hunting in SOS battles. The one site I saw said that the best move set for this is Recover, Recycle (with a Leppa berry on board), False Swipe (obviously), and Icicle Spear. I get the first 3, but why Icicle spear? Is there a specific reason for that or is it just a move in general to use in that last spot?

“Legendary” is just a title. The legends they allow in OU and UU are there because they are competitively equal to the non legends in that tier. I could call Magikarp legendary and that doesn’t make him any better.
And I’m sorry but saying Nihiligo or Zapdos are on the same level as freaking Arceus is just flat out wrong. They are there for a reason. Just use them. The only ones that get a pass is Goodra and Metagross but they’re still on the frail side
It’s not like super OP Latios and Latias with enough speed and bulk to handle its threats, or Mew doing virtually anything with solid bulk, any of the Kami trio with their high stats, Kyurem Black astonishingly not banned until now for some reason with that 170 attack
Or the worst of the bunch Paraflinch Jirachi which is systematically against you
Now we have to deal with all the Tapus getting boosts to already Stab moves and a whole plethora of Ultra Beasts nearly everyone of them cheap in their own way
Kyurem Black is in UU… I’m not even kidding, him and Keldeo are actually in UU

Ok, yes many of them have 4x weaknesses but still. Just use the legionaries. If they banned legendaries completely do you know what would happen? You would come to find that there are equally annoying pokemon with their own frustrating tricks. Just adapt to the meta and use one of them

Do you not understand how meta games work. Certain pokemon are good for a while. You need to use those mons while also bringing unique ones to the table to catch your opponents off guard and win. Then different pokemon become better. That is how it works. But here you are deciding to limit yourself with non legends. No wonder you are always losing. You have to stop blaming the game and start playing it properly
No it’s what’s overpowered and hard to kill, just look at all the VGC rosters and it hardly changes
Different Pokemon are never getting better unless they’re designed to overthrow a single part of the meta, in the end it’s always the overpowered that win and I want to do that with Pokemon I want to use but clearly that doesn’t matter when they’re naturally bad compared to overpowered legends
Here is the thing though. If you ban the legends… you are only going to get other OP mons that were checked by those legends. You ban those, OP mons checked by the other OP mons. That is how it works
I’d rather have it that way because out of all the Pokemon in the game that aren’t legends, psudos or megas all have exploitable weaknesses that almost any Pokemon can muster, and they won’t be invincible
Because would you honestly rather have a wide and diverse team instead of the same carbon copy team nearly everyone is using, and are punished because you wanted to play differently
It doesn’t matter how much you ban. Pokemon will still rise to the top and teams will become stale and carbon copies. If VGC didn’t ban most legends then they would all be used. But they are banned so you have your kangas and landorouses. Ban them, idk you would have the same 6 others
Well you cannot eliminate tiers but you can try to eliminate what can be used in said tier
I’m done with this, Legends will always be cheap and I wish for a world with the option to not fight them, but that will never ever come

Oh OK, I prefer regular Garchomp so I didn’t realise. I know alot of what it benefits don’t have their Mega Stones this gen.
Of course everyone prefers regular because that tiny fucking speed drop it didn’t need was its complete and total downfall
Now they took away the one Mega I can actually use and once be proud of, sun and moon have truly caused me nothing but pain and suffering
I actually meant I prefer its’ design. Hopefully you can find other things you like, or can at least tolerate using. Or maybe there’s another strategy you can try with Mega ‘chomp, Tailwind or Dragon Dance are all that come to mind atm.

Just why did they give it Stealth Rock…..I truly hate this new generation
Its good against the Tapu’s, but it’ll still struggle against things like Kartana, Celesteela and other UB’s. Though if your Play VGC, run it with Porygon 2 for a trickroom setup and its a pretty hard fight to counter.
I say go for it, though that’s because I really like it.

Lele is, in my personal opinion, MUCH worse than Pheromosa.. I have zero clue why Pheromosa is considered worse.. it hits hard but is an extremely easy kill. Hell, it is downright completely useless at times. Lele is consistently useful and basically screams “busted”

Fake Out is really helpful for scouting though I could experiment with Grass Knot.
Oh dang he gets Earthquake NVM on Bonemerang. Flame Wheel is for Fire STAB
I mean I guess Bonemerang has some uses, Sash breaking etc, but I think EQ is better. It gets Flare Blitz which is twice as powerful, you could try it with Rock Head and not have to worry about recoil, I’d go with it even if you use Lightning Rod because Flame Wheel imo is too weak.
Ehhh but I get too much use out of Lightning Rod as it covers both Mandibuzz and TapuFini.
Well I’d still use FB, you may even last longer as you’ll get more KO’s with it vs Flame Wheel.
Replace Flame wheel with flare blitz, flare blitz is way to weak
I would swap Fake Out for Grass Knot or Surf on Alolan Raichu. Fake Out doesn’t get much use in singles unless something has a real high attack stat.
Also Flare Blitz and Earthquake on Marowak.
I like the Tapu Fini set, but mono water attacking set is easily walled. Change Refresh or Taunt be switched out for Moonblast or something.
