So I’ve been thinking. I think there’s 3 things that miss the most from gen 6 in general. BEING ABLE TO SIT………that’s one anyway ….lol but seriously I miss O powers a lot. They were very useful. Plus I miss being able to exit entire menus by hitting the X button. I keep hitting it when I want to leave a menu, but it always pushes me further in hahaha
I miss mindless breeding. Even without the circles of Lumiose and Battle Resort, in the past I would just use 2 fingers to press left and right on the d-pad. But now I have to use 2 hands and hold the b button as well just to go fast.
Yeah it was nice being able to use the D pad. At least it feels like hatching is quicker. Plus now we can store up eggs without having to go into the building over and over lol

I think the holding the B button is the most annoying part.
When I have to let go with one hand for a couple of seconds to do something. Man it ticks me off.
It’s the main thing bikes had over Tauros, there should be an auto-charge option by turning Tauros’ horns downwards.

Yeh, and that’s the only time I will mega. Cos a CC won’t OHKO, and it will drop your defences meaning my attack will KO 95% of the time. That’s why I said ‘strategically’

His Aggron probably has Sturdy though?
Nah Rock Head all day every day. STAB Head Smash on the oh so predictable Water switch in. Beautiful.
Then it just means I gotta pop it or watch out for Metal Burst
There is always the Pokemon Wobbufett thanks to the move Destiny Bond.
I can just Mega Up on the Earthquake if I know I can take it out after living it’s hit. Which happens quite often. My point being of I don’t mega straight away people always think it’s not the merge, so they think they can easily take it out with Ground or Fighting. Big mistake!!
Also there’s this neat function that allows me to switch my Pokemon out of unfavourable match ups.

my favourite is Mega Ampharos and my favourite Z-move is the Flying type one

Megas are better imo. A longer term boost is preferable to a one time use for me, regardless of Power. Although with some Pokémon Z-moves can probably be better they may just be better off with something like a Life Orb.
Favourite Mega: Venusaur, though I love quite a few.
Z- move: Sinister Arrow Raid or Soul-Stealing 7-Star Strike. Though I really like the Fire, Fighting, Steel and Dark type ones too.
Honestly? Z moves… I always felt Megas were a bit cancerous at times and I honestly like when I fight teams where that isn’t all they use
Fave Mega: Sharpedo or Altaria
Fave Z Move: Soul stealing 7-star strike that 100% is an anime finisher

Hey guys! Do you know what need’s to comeback? Pokemon Pinball! I dunno why, but I have not seen one game in the series since Ruby & Sapphire! As a arcade kind of gamer, is fuggin pisses me off! Not in generations 4, 5, or even 6!
It’s because they got rid of the game corner, due to age restriction rules on the influence of gambling on children. Though Pinball isn’t gambling as such it still would involve putting money into a machine and maybe getting a prize, which borders on it to the people who decide these things. Then again Pokémon is essentially dog fighting so it is weird that they’d remove the game corner at all, most likely it was a compromise.
*sweatdrop and facepalm* I said pinball, not panchinko. Besides, it is a pinball simulator. You just buy the game and you do not need to use quarters.
I know I meant if they were to have it in game that’s where it would be and it would likely cost money to use.
It would need a very large amount added to be a full game on its’ own again. Seems like more of a small mobile game by todays standards. They have Shuffle which is as close to such a game as we’ll get for now. And yes I know it’s not the same thing.

Learned that the hard way when I was playing Pokemon Black & White. The trick is that if you do, leave the game running for 24 hours. I did.

Just hunt down an Abra and turbo breed
The sooner you get off your ass and assemble a entire harem of synchronize Abras and hunt down Dittos it makes breeding a hell of a lot easier
It took nearly a week and a half but now I have Abras with all the decent natures and a Ditto for Adamant, Modest, Jolly, Timid, Impish, Bold, Calm and Careful which are the eight essential a Natures for competitive
And now I never EVER have to worry about finding natures because I poop out a egg for it and them breed it constantly until it gets better and better and soon flawless
Amazing episode. I like how little they showed pokemon. Like the anime even professionals always have like a pokemon in their room just there or whatever, but this looked more serious. They were serious business men, and I liked that. Also look Nurse Joy clones arent real!!!! This was a good episode HOWEVER i would much appreciate if had did a story of how they got the cocoon. Seriously, is no one gonna explain how they got it??

Like Jolly, Timid, Adamant and Modest are the most widely used. I’d also get the defensive ones like Bold, Calm, Careful and Impish. It depends on if you also want -speed natures and mixed attacker natures too.

Caught my first Sun & Moon shiny today. A random wild Rattata. Yesterday I also found a shiny Salandit while chaining, but it was male and I didn’t want to break the chain as I was trying to get a female with good IVs, so I didn’t catch it.

I can not believe so many people are finding shiny Pokemon.
I think they lowered the base odds to 1/4096. Combine that with the efficiency and ease of chaining in this generation, and you’ll see how a lot of people find shinies.

I want to level it up, at least to 60 or so, as it’s a rare Pokemon and unlike the others you cn only have one (unless you trade but come on, that’s a 0.01% chance of happening).

* Silvally, Tapu Lele, Magnezone (I’d replace Magnezone with Metagross once I get it)
Doubles:
* Scizor, Politoed/Pelipper, Ludicolo, Gastrodon (Ludicolo isn’t present, Gyarados is an OK replacement)
* Salamence, Sharpedo, Metagross, Conkeldurr (Conk is out, replace with Crabominable)
I’ve used Mega Gallade for a bit, one SD and it recks

tl;dr: Getting to 66 isn’t too hard, then you eat at rare kitchens to 98. Use rare candies for the last 2.
Nice ways to get to 66 are E4, Battle Buffet (escape the restaurant before the last turn so you can repeat), KO-ing Guzzlord repeatedly.
My rare kitchen only goes up to level 49 >.> hmmm…

Legit no lie, the first time I played the Battle Tree a Backpacker had a Musharna, WALREIN (get to this later), and some third one that I forgot (actually I never saw the third mon until I replayed through the battle video against my full team), but I saved the video so you can battle them again.
I had Decidueye (Robin M), Mandibuzz (Kabula F) and Golisopod (Bushido M). I had Robin first and she sent out a Musharna. I anticipated a Shadow Ball or Psychic, so I swtiched into Kabula and they also switched into Walrein. AND THEN SHENANIGANS HAPPENED.
Needless to say, while I still like Walrein, I despise anyone’s Walrein running a Chesto-Resto set along with Snore, Stockpile, and Frost Breath. I got walled, then bodied.

I’ve been using Tapu Koko on Showdown with that nature, and I did 5 HP, 252 Sp Atk, and 252 Speed, along with it holding a Terrain Extender. Also, I had it with Taunt, Dazzling Gleam, Thunderbolt, and Nature’s Madness. Works very well against those pesky Status move users.
I have a relaxed Buzzwole.
I have a jolly shiny zubat, which is the perfect nature though. That makes up for it.

The most satisfying thing to do in Showdown is to use a Weakness Policy Minior. I use it as bait because I act like its my Stealth Rock setter, and then when people use a super effective move on it, Minior gets those boosted attack stats, plus Shields Down. Then, I proceed to wreck the team, and it’s so fun.
Eh why not just use Shell Smash and White Herb? Then your strategy isn’t dependent on your opponent’s ignorance.

Something I would like to point out about Gen 7 is I feel like they did a good choice and job with giving mostly forgotten Pokemon weather abilities. Like Pelipper, it’s been getting more and more time to shine in competitive teams now.

Something I want to recommend for that Water Bubble boost is to attach a Waterium Z. Use it with Liquidation being the move, because with a 2x boost to water attacks the Hydro Vortex will have about 360 power. Plus, with STAB, it’ll prob be a 1 shot.
