Salazzle is a bit too frail, even a golbat killed mine… What moveset should I give it?
Splash, Tail Whip, Entrainment and Tickle
Honestly? Flamethrower and Sludge Bomb are a must
Nasty Plot if you catch an opponent on a switch is TERRIFYING
And if you don’t have a decent Hidden Power, I’d reset. Outside of stab, you get dragon pulse as your best coverage move…
I’m not playing competitively, it’s just in-game.

In game, Nasty plot lets it sweep a certain threatening trainers’ team due to them having a whopping one mon to kill Salazzle
I’ve been using nasty plot but by the next turn salazzle already has less than half of its hp xd
Yep, that’s basically Salazzle XD
In both in game and competitive, if it doesn’t die it sweeps
Otherwise, Sunkern with HP ground could score a KO off it
Salazzle’s hidden power is Fighting. Is it good?
Honestly? Eh. It kills rock
Ideally, Grass, Water, or Ice. Something that kills ground types
Oh well, it’ll keep dying then because I’m not looking for another timid female salandit xd

I’ve found toxic+poison barb+ venoshock is really good. OHKOs almost everything

Why must Komala be so bad?
It has an incredibly good ability, a rather nice base 110 attack and REALLY GOOD COVERAGE (Fighting, Grass, Dark, Normal, Fairy, Ground, Ghost, Flying.. even if it is only acrobatics, and Rock!) It even gets freaking wish!!!
It gets three set up moves (though calm mind is next to useless on it)
And it gets Rapid spin
But why is it so frail physically?
Why does it have base 75 special attack?
Why is wish its only option to heal
Why does it not get rest or slack off?
Like it’s depressing, it has EVERYTHING going for it
But a few things keep it from being useful
It’s always asleep, that’s why it can’t use Rest or Slack Off
I guess that works for rest but, Slack Off? It can just relax
I just feel like it had so much wasted potential
True I guess
I mean.. If it had more bulk it could utilize wish and it would be SO GOOD
To those curious, Togedemaru is actually really decent
Good Electric stab (Missing steel stab besides Gyro Ball hurts)
Gets a really interesting moveset with lots of variety
Rather decent speed
Freaking Fell Stinger
I still don’t know if I can bring myself to use any more pikaclones. I used emolga and hated it
Really its a fantastic support pokemon having spikey shield, so great for vgc, face out, wish, nuzzle, volt switch, its unique move, and having either iron barbs or lightning rod, both of which are fantastic abilities. Its probably one of the best non-legendary pokemon of this gen.
Jangmo-o has a 5% encounter rate. Guess I’ll be camping in Vast Poni Canyon all afternoon lol

Mine has a – attack nature so it isn’t as good as it could be, but Scope Lens + Leaf Blade, Leech Life, Swords Dance make sit formidable af
And it has Brick Break so it isn’t just Steel bait

Is it bad that I accidently found one of my favourite Pokémon (Lurantis) because I was trying to swerve away from Tsareena due to its popularity?
Eh we all do that on some level. Haha
I prefer Lurantis overall. One of my favourites too, I’d be using it if I weren’t picking Rowlett.
It is a good Pokemon, you just pick what you like and go with it!
Looking for eevee, so i can hopefully catch sylveon in a sos battle, so i can level it up to learn skill swap, so i can catch HA with Sos battles. Ugh competitive breeding is too much
I don’t think Sylveon is SOS available I only know of Espeon and Umbreon
I attempted my first SOS chain last night, with Pyukumuku. I used my Decidueye and gave it Swords Dance and False Swipe. I didn’t find any shinies, but I could tell which ones eventually had Unaware because my Swords Dance-boosted False Swipes weren’t taking them down to 1HP! The one I caught has Unaware, Impish nature and pretty solid IVs! I won’t even need to breed it.
So I reached the Battle Tree, got the IV checker, and after a while (and searching through my PC box for field Pokemon with “Best” stats), I now have a 5IV male Modest Magby… whew. This can be used to breed other special attackers in the Field egg group once it becomes a Magmar.
I’m gonna try and SOS chain Dittos.

2 iv + 1 iv = 3iv
3 iv + 1 iv = 4iv
4 iv + 1 iv = 5iv (this part took a long time) :p
It just so happens the last part was a female magmar…

Anybody feel like Battle Royale with in game teams?
How does one use the IV checker in the PC? I was given it but I don’t see how to use it
There’s a button “Judge” on the lower right. When you press it, the top screen turns into IV checker.
Is it common for wild pokemon in pelago to leave your island after it says they like the attention you gave them? I had a drifblim on my island and now its gone 🙁
Its kinda random. Sometimes it works, othertimes not. It seems pretty 50/50 for me.
I was so excited to see it and then i checked pelago to put it in my box and its gone but now i have a gastly and a zubat visiting the island and im like ???
Yeah when I see commons I wanna kick them out… but I wanna check them in case they have Hidden Ability too…
