Final Pokémon Sun & Moon Trailers

In what will be the last trailers for Pokémon Sun & Moon before they’re released, new Z-moves and other gameplay elements have been shown.

  • Decidueye’s signature Z-Move is called Sinister Arrow Raid
  • Inceneroar’s signature Z-Move is called Malicious Moonsault
  • Primarina’s signature Z-Move is called Oceanic Operetta
  • UB-03 Lighting officially revealed, no other details released
  • UB-05 Gluttony revealed, no other details released
  • Alolan Diglett is officially revealed, and Alolan Dugtrio is seen for the first time outside the special demo – both are Ground/Steel-type
  • Alolan Diglett and Dugtrio’s new ability is Tangled Hair, which lowers the opponents speed if they make contact with the Pokémon
  • The trailer asks US trainers to come back to the official site for where and when you can get Magearna’s QR code – however it’s been confirmed that in Europe it will be distributed via the Pokémon TV app from December 6th, 2016 onward
  • Outside the trailer Necrozma was official revealed stateside as well

  6. I ended up preordering both games, and now I’m trying to decide which to play first. I wanna say Sun, since I preordered it first, but Moon has Midnight Lycanroc and Drampa… decisions decisions.

  9. Ok wow so this is crazy. So I’m in once of those moods where is want to really f*cked uo scary stuff on YouTube because ya know, who needs sleep and found this video of this caller who called in on this radio show. His voice was super uneasy and shakes and he was panicking. He claimed that he worked for Area 51 and was released on a medical discharge. He said that he had been traveling across the country for a week and that what we know as aliens are being used. He used the term “inter-dimensional beings” and said that they were using them to lower the population of major places in order to make it more controllable. Few seconds afterwards the radio signal was cut off and the show escorted to a back up cable.

    A while later, someone called back claiming that they were that guy and it was a hoax but many debate whether if it was actually the same person or if it was and he had to be shut up and lie that it was all fake. Nobody knows if it was real.

    HOW AMAZING WOULD THIS BE AS INSPIRATION FOR SUN AND MOONS STORY WITH ULTRA BEASTS

      • Mainly because the game is released 5 days early for NTSC regions so all the people in PAL regions are going to be bombarded by spoilers and being constantly reminded what we’re missing out on for 5 days won’t be fun. Avoiding it will make the time go quicker.

        When I’ve finally got the game I’ll probably be playing it instead of using my computer for a few days and I’ll be trying to take it slowly to make it last this time.

        As for the potentially not returning thing, it’s been fun here, but once the game’s been released there will be nothing to speculate about or anticipate, so there will be less reason to hang around. Besides which when I get here it’s hard to leave so I could do with cutting down anyway.

        I don’t know, I might return, it depends how things go.

          • I can’t remember us ever having any major disagreements, at least not compared to some of the disagreements I’ve been a part of here.

            (That said I think the person I’ve had the least disagreements with is Earthen, ironically.)

            It’s nice to know I will be missed if I do go though. Like I say, I might return afterwards, but it probably won’t be for a while.

  12. well, I’m not sure if anyone is familiar with the youtube channel “Epic Rap Battles of History” but they finally made a pokemon one, between Ash Ketchum and Charles Darwin. kinda relevant I suppose.

    • The title only says Wonderful Funny Pictures. (so non-indicative of the story heh)

      The starters play with a ball and lose it. They stumble upon Time City where time seems to have stopped, so they play pranks on the time-stopped Pokemon (expecting the time to resume later). Eventually they find the ball lodged in the clock tower which is the cause of the time stopping. After they remove it, time resumed which resulted in the pranked Pokemon getting confused and trolled.

      Probably for that certain Pokemon Mystery Dungeon game involving Time or something? Though it does say Pokemon Daisuki Club in the end.

Hey so I saw this thing that when you use a Z move in conjunction with a status move an additional effect with occur, i.e. Your attack raises by 1, etc. my question is: say you have your Rowlet use a normal type Z move in conjunction with growl: will you do damage the way you would with, say, tackle? Or would you just have the side effect that comes when growl is used with a Zmove, or both? Hope my question is clear! Because these Z moves are really confusing me lol

    • If you have a normal type z crystal on your rowlett and you press on the z power option,

      Your normal type attacking moves such as tackle will turn into breakneck blitz, the normal z move and will do damage.

      Growl will turn into Z-growl
      I’ll raise your attack by 1 stage, which is the z power side effect and then the normal growl animation will play and you’ll lower your opponents attack. It will not do any damage

    • And yet it still has a place in the meta as a hard counter to Beauty given it doesn’t have any way of shutting down Priority on its own.

  18. MAJOR STORY SPOILERS
    This is seriously the best Plot in any Pokémon Game. Lillie’s character development is unlike any in a Pokemon game. I thought Hau would be annoying, but I grew to like him as well. Gladion is up there with N as my favourite Character. Lusamine is crazy,and the best villain in Pokemon. Her merging with UB-01 was crazy. I loved everything.
    Now it’s time for the elite 4
