Fans of the Nintendo 64 game Pokémon Snap are everywhere, at least in the fandom’s older demographic, and they can finally enjoy a slice of nostalgia on their Wii U soon. Younger fans will also be able to experience the memorable photog game for themselves as well. Starting in Japan, the title will be coming to the Wii U’s Virtual Console for ¥1,028 ($10 pricepoint). This means it probably won’t be long until the game gets a North American and European release.
If you need a refresher, Snap tasked players with taking photos of Pokémon while riding in the Zero-One. Some Pokémon needed to be coaxed a bit to catch their good side and players could throw pester balls or apples to get a better shot. Although short, the game was a very unique take on the series and developed somewhat of a cult following.
What do you think? Ready to take up your role as Todd Snap one more time?

FEATURED DISCUSSION: Nintendo NX

I rather buy Paper Mario and 100% it for fun
Might get it since I never had an N64
GASP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You poor soul….. Anyone who didn’t grow up with an N64…..tis a sad thought…
I might end up getting it, but I’d rather buy a real N64 cartridge. Also, does anyone know/remember the exact time “Inside the Pokemon House”, or whatever it’s called, airs in Japan on April 3? And if you wanted to do the work for me, what time does it air in Pacific Time?
It’s 8AM in Japan on Sunday. Which is 11PM on Saturday here for me. So…
4 in the afternoon on Saturday in PST?
Alright awesome, thanks!
D’you happen to know of a stream where it will be available to watch?
