In the latest Pokémon Trainer Club Newsletter US subscribers were sent codes to download their own demo version of Pokémon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire. I’ve marked this post as a spoiler and that is because the Mega Evolved Pokémon featured in the American demo is revealed to be Mega Glalie.

Smogon implemented a preliminary ORAS metagame on Showdown with all the new Megas.
Seeing replays of Mega Metagross sweeping teams makes my day. The metagame is not prepared for this beast.
I personally will be using mega beedrill… assuming it isn’t game exclusive. Oh crap I just thought of that. God I hope it isn’t.
I may try out Beedrill or Lopunny first
Lopunny looks good, but I’m a bug guy all the way… which usually leads to a lot of pain thanks to stealth rocks

But what do you expect from a demo? A demo does not equal the full game. I wasn’t expecting much from the demo, other than a tease of what’s to come and something to tie me over.
And the music.
Getting items/a Mega is definitely a bonus.
It has exclusive content and will whet our palates while we wait the last couple weeks for the full release.
It’s nice to see Hoenn graphics but other than that the demo isn’t anything special tbh.
It doesn’t need to be, it is like I said a way to get exclusive stuff, and to whet the palate for the real release. It is also a problem of integrity with the actual company(/ies).

I had the same issue. The pokemon company fixed the issue. I can now view my code. Try opening the email again. It just now started for me.

To everyone who has received the email, but it didn’t contain the code just a blank box that said coupon or nothing at all. I checked the pokemon website and the issue should be fixed. Reopen your newsletter and the code should be visible. Just an FYI.
