That’s all there is to do. I’ve bred ~90 Pokémon, and a majority of those I haven’t used at all.
Well XY was when I got good at competitive, and after the Looker quest, I spent months breeding, getting better and battling people here. Now I just MM and breed xD. Seeing ORAS makes XY look worse, but that’s not the case.
I like that Junichi is open to the thought of having all regions in one game – but he has to figure out a unique & fun way to do it.
well since soaring is a thing now and these mirage spots exist he can further expand that to make other regions accessible in the post game through certain achievements and etc

Cartridge sizes though. You could probably fit three, maybe four regions on it comfortably.
but remember that power of the new 3ds may handle a bit more
I jusy posted that below actually. The N3DS would be able to handle it, but game wise they would have to at least double the size.
I think a game that includes all six (seven in gen 7?) regions would need to be a WiiU game or the WiiU’s successor. Bluray and DVD technology can handle far more data than the cart system used by the 3DS, even the new one.

Yeah. They will probably wait until we have the software/technology that can make all the regions in 1 game function well & smoothly. It will always have to be for handheld though cause it defeats the purpose of them being called Pocket Monsters.

Ugh. That’s one thing I hate about the anime.
I rather have one big new region and some smaller islands with plenty to do than the barren wasteland that Kanto was in the original GS.
Now that you mention it… Kanto region was pretty barren. If it gets remade in 2016 it will have to undergo a drastic change.
I’d rather have them spend a couple of years making a game with all six regions than rushing out a game because they can. It’s how call of duty became a repeat franchise.
Thankfully, Pokemon hasn’t reached that level yet… and I hope that it never does.
So i was on showdown testing out some of the new megas and here is my feedback
Mega sceptile: borderline ok: he is only resourceful in some situations and has to be used really carefully
Mega salamence: POWER COMING THROUGH buff said
mega metagross: REALLY balanced poke and can tank and wreck twice as hard
Mega gallade: AMAZING. way better than i expected. I 6-0’d a team with it
Primal’s and mega ray ray: beyond users especially primal groudon

I assume so, he never said a whole lot, he said he wouldn’t run 256 on one stat and not much else.
He said that you don’t need a +Speed nature so Rash or Naughty is good depending on your desired set. He didn’t say one specific ideal spread, but with less speed evs you can invest more in mixed offence. Also that Hidden Power Ice is a good option over Dragon Pulse. It OHKOs Mega Salamence with 188 evs with beneficial nature and OHKOs Garchomp with 212 evs.

Legal. We can have as many Primal’s on 1 team as we want. Even paired with a mega.
The thing is, they don’t know if Red Orb/Blue Orb are able to be traded, so this might limit us to 1.
They aren’t key items any more, so I would assume so.
They could very well still give us the message “your pokemon is holding an item that cant be traded” like some of the xy items do..

I’m pretty sure everyone knows this, but my favorite Pokemon introduced in Ruby and Sapphire is Milotic. Now let me tell you why…
One day, when I was on Route 119 in Emerald, I went fishing in various spots. My memory is foggy, but I think I encountered a Feebas one day and I’m sure if I caught it or not, but I looked it up and saw what evolves into. I was astonished by the drastic transformation it underwent.
I went back to that particular spot another day, and Feebas was not found. I then searched how to find Feebas, and its locations (6 fishing water squares) change based on the Dewford Town phrase. I don’t remember what the phrase was,
(however, you can make your own generated one here: http://www.brianorchosky.com/extras/DewfordPhraseGenerator.html) but I managed after maybe at least 20 minutes that I found a square with Feebas in it. I kept fishing until I found a female Feebas, and then I caught it. I fed it Pokeblocks that raised its beauty, then I leveled it up, and started to evolve!
It was a Careful Nature Milotic, just like my Altaria, and I was so happy that I finally have one of the most beautiful Pokemon to have ever been designed. :’D
In short, it was a lot of effort looking for Feebas, and even then, I had to grow the right berries to mix and create Pokeblocks that raised Beauty.

If Mega Whiscash does come in the US demo, I think it should keep the Water/Ground typing. The main reason is because, like the proposed ability, Whiscash is a Simple Pokemon and should keep the typing, even though many people think it should change typings. Ever since Dusknoir, the Banette and Dusclops relationship has been cut. So just because Banette got a Mega, it doesn’t mean Dusknoir won’t. It might not in this game, but it will eventually. Milotic is a fan favourite, what makes it so impossible for it not to get a mega?

No guard lets every move on the pokemon & by the pokemon never miss. Therefore, Hurricane will never miss when M. Pidgeot uses it, but Thunder will also never miss when used on M. Pidgeot by another pokemon.

Well, Smogon will now put Mega Kangaskhan forever in Ubers because it can learn Drain Punch and many other tutor moves!
I don’t play by Smogon rules, but that actually makes sense. GF needs to limit what it can get. So far Cofagrigus is the best counter I’ve found and used against it, but that is only with really good predicting.

Anyway, use Talonflame with Life Orb and use Quick Guard to block Fake Out, then use Brave Bird to hit it it Mega Kanga doesn’t switch out and have another Pokémon very fast or with a priority move to take it down

No you can always Double Protect in the first turn (in Doubles). I use Mega Charizard why and Venusaur with Chlorophyll. I put the Sun up, I use Double Protect and in the Next turn I can put it to sleep or simply hit it!

I always found the Battle Frontier as being super tedious……It just seemed like a huge amount of time for something that almost felt like it wasn’t worth it. last year I did the same thing and left for the final 2 weeks so a lot of the new megas were a surprise for me. Scizor.. Tyranitar… just to name a few. I bawled when I seen them for myself.

Why froslass needs a mega:
1. Glalie got one. We need gender equality before the feminists invade
2. It has a unique Ice/Ghost typing, two primarily sp.attacking types. Mega evolving her will make her a fast, frail sweeper (like a special weavile!)
3. Sinnoh remakes most likely 2017/18
4. A boost to its speed will let it set up destiny bond on most things that can set up
5. Its only decent ability is cursed body. Im thinking maybe no guard or aftermath?
6. Its just freaking awesome
Glalie needed one WAYYYY more than Froslass did, it was almost ridiculous.

I’m totally going to check it out
A game were you control and battle with ghost. It’s beginning localized in North America and Europe (I believe) in 2015 after a lot of demand. From the gameplay I saw, it’s quite fun!

Actually. That might be true. The game as sold 2+ Million copies in Japan. It’s a huge success by Level 5. The second one did way better. 4+ Million copies in JP. I don’t think it would outsell Pokemon. Yet, GameFreak might have some good competition.
My friend thinks that its fair to compare pokemon to castle clash (a clash of clans rip off on ios and android). He thinks that castle clash has made more money and has more fans than pokemon has.

Yep. I finally got my newsletter, but sadly the box where there should be a code instead it just says coupon. It seems a lot of people are having this issue lately.
Same here as well. They (the PKMN tech personnel) will get down to this issue hopefully.

To anyone who received the newsletter, but no visible code, just a box that says nothing or coupon. I checked on the pokemon website. The issue should be fixed now or soon. Recheck your newsletter in your email. The code should now be visible. I had the same issue, but now the code is visible.
