Mega Pidgeot
Pidgeot Mega Evolves into Mega Pidgeot. The gusts it can whip up with its tough and well-developed wings are powerful enough to smash huge trees.
Upon Mega Evolving, its Sp. Atk gets a great boost. Take good advantage of its zippy Speed stat, and you can pummel opponents in no time flat. Its No Guard Ability means its attack will never miss—nor will attacks used against it. You can be sure of dealing damage even with moves that have low accuracy. – Official Site
Mega Beedrill
Beedrill Mega Evolves into Mega Beedrill. The poison it produces from its four limbs all work instantaneously, yet the poison it emits from its tail is slow-acting. It uses the former to prevent its foes from fleeing, and the latter to deal the finishing blow.
Mega Evolution gives its Attack and Speed stats an explosive boost. Adaptability is an Ability that increases the power of moves of the same type as the user from the standard 150% to 200%. Put it together with this Pokémon’s powerful Attack stat and aim for massive damage! – Official Site

Can someone run me through what has been confirmed from the ORAS demo’s with regards to Mega Glalie & Mega Steelix? I don’t know anything about abilities, stats, competitive use, etc.
Glalie – Refrigerate, +Att, SpA, Spe
Steelix – Sand Force
Mega Glalie has Refrigerate and Mega Steelix has Sand Force.

Not only do they get stab, they get a x1.3 bonus for no reason in addition to it

Apparently X&Y won’t receive a patch to allow ORAS megas to be transferred to X&Y
They were there originally, so idk.
the new megas in oras were probably created after x/y but lati@s weren’t that’s why they are in x/y data

-Mega Glalie makes me happy, I like it. I hope it gains more use because it was a very original design in the beginning.
-I love the idea of Steelix having crystal features, because I always thought about fakemon: Crystalix, but I don’t like how they implement it. But it’s called for since Steelix itself looks unproportional in the original form.
-Mega Beedrill, perfect implementation of the idea of mega-evolution.
-Mega Pidgeot, it looks bland, I would expect more egyptian figures upon megaevolving.
