Although many fans wanted to see a Wii U title announced in the recent stream, a Tekken crossover title was shown and is confirmed to be arcade-only when it launches in 2015. Machamp and Lucario were seen fighting together and the Pokémon Game Show clip with Lucario and Blaziken was also seen before the reveal.

The thing that annoyed me most was Lucario being shamelessly plugged once again yes Gamefreak we know he is Gen 4 no.1 and we know Lucario has many merchandise waiting for young children to buy XD I wanted to say my top waifu Mega lopunny kicking some ass in glorious HD 🙁
I think Lucario is only shown because it played a larger role in Gen 4 and is still popular.
Lucario is one of the most marketable Pokemon, it makes sense for Pokemon to do it.
Lucario is one of the more well known pokemon due to its various appearances in the anime, the movies, and the games.
Well at least it looks like Machamp will be the actual mascot for the game which is kinda cool. Could have been worse. We could all be heading to Japan to play Pika Fighters.
So far two of the Pokémon revealed in the game have mega evolution. Why would they advertise Machamp in it? It’s the only gen one three line trio Pokémon without a mega, that being Alakazam and Gengar. Could this be hinting at Mega Machamp?
Because it’s showing that it’s a formidable foe with 4 arms.

I found the part, “confirmed to be arcade-only” more “earth-shattering” than the game itself. ._.
They said it comes out on arcade first, suggesting a console release later.

I liked the graphics and play style. If they took that, shoved all the Pokémon into it, and made it for Wii U, with 3DS sync to copy Pokémon over, I would buy a Wii U just for it.
It looks fine, but I’ve played tekken and soul calibur. I don’t know what new aspect pokemon can add to it, gamplay wise :/

I love the idea but is is wasted on an arcade release. This could have made a great WII U release and i seriously am shocked it isnt considering how much Nintendo wants to push Amiibo…. this game just scream Amiibo potential for unlockable characters.
