It’s happening, it’s really happening! Pokémon TCG has been playable online for some time now via downloadable software (at least in English), but news is that it’s also coming to the iPad! This is great news for fans who are more reliant on their tablets than their desktops. It’s also a great time to capitalize on the digital TCG craze with Hearthstone consistently ranking high on Apple’s App Store. The image above comes from Josh Wittenkeller’s Twitter account. Bloomberg has also carried the story and confirmed the game’s existence.
Do you play the PC version? Would an iPad version tempt you over?
Personally, I think this would be a great step forward for the series and potentially expand the audience. I’d also be much more likely to play on my iPad versus my PC.

FEATURED DISCUSSION: New Pokémon Project
Pokemon Diamond/Pearl:
~ An almost quintessential beginning, amazingly paced middle, and one of the greatest climaxes in the Pokemon anime series’ history. The character development for Dawn, Ash, Paul, Zoey, and the gym leaders is beyond perfection. The filler episodes are actually entertaining and some of the best, another highlight to the series and the rivals all have unique characteristics that set them apart from the norm of the series.
Pokemon Advanced Generation:
~ Again, another perfect blend of great storytelling and character development. The addition of contests added to the entertainment and May’s rivals all had unique characteristics, especially Harley and Drew, her main rivals. Jessie also entering contests was a nice touch.
I have no idea how the anime just dropped in quality in Unova…
They were experimenting with the anime, that’s why it was all over the place during Fifth generation.
Well that experiment Failed 😀
Well, just look at X and Y, I think it somewhat succeeded. 😀
Truuuu
The anime rewrite screwed it over
I agree! I remember one of my favorite DP episodes is where a froslass tricked Ash, Dawn, and Brock into an icy cave to eentually kill and eat them! so dark! Its what makes froslass one of my favorites!
Don’t forget the camp and Paul VS Cynthia! 😀
Dont remember that episode, was it the one where cynthia uses rayquaza?
Oh Yea
Nope. Search Paul VS Cynthia on Youtube, Cynthia screws him all over!
😉
I like How they named the Hoenn anime as Advanced Generation
I <3 Sinnoh anime!
Paul was the best Rival after Gary
Well Gary had a Change of Heart over the course of several episodes while Paul’s change of heart existed on one ep
AG and JL are my favorite anime generations XD
Idk why I liked JL so much…
Probably because of the openings XD
And I loved How Misty changes into a more mother figure for togepi XD
AG (BF included) is because of May and her development from a pokemon hater introvert to an amazing pokemon coordinator who loves her pokemon <333 and contests and ash's frontier brain battles were pure beauty <3
And Harley was a beautiful human being (listen to Shiny noivern's Djjapasta for full explanation)
Also the magma vs aqua episode is one of my favorite episodes ever XD
Am i the only one that thought the D/P anime had too many filler episodes?
What are filler episodes in the Pokemon anime?
It honestly got ridiculous XD
“The Electrike company” u wot
Me and my little brother watched the darkrai movie. I gotta say, its one of the best. easily on my top 5 best
1: Lucario and the mystery of mew
2:The power of one (pokemon 2000)
3:Arceus and the Jewel of Life
4:Rise of Darkrai
5: Zoroark:Master of Illusions
Then there is genesect. omg. genesect. I could rant forever about how terrible that one was
Troo moo, it kinda sucks
WHY IS ONE GENESECT SO, you know, not murderous..
THESE ARE GIANT ROBOTIC BUGS OF DEATH!!! And one of them is crying because she wants to go home!? WHAT!!!!????
Dont get me started on mewtwo
And the dogs… D:
Nooooo
The Keldeo was the terrible one
Keldeo was unique since the bad guy wasn’t a bad guy really
not as bad as genesect.
I really wouldve prefered if kyurem froze the city and keldeo had to train to take on kyurem and unfreeze the city in the process
For me es
1: Temple of da sea (may)
2: Lucario and the mystery of moo
3:The power of one
4: Pokemon 5 ever
5: Rise of darkrai
finally!! after being distracted be pokejungle, and youtube, IVE FINISHED MY HOME WORK!!!
….
what? after I saw the new spongebob movie trailer i needed something to calm my sorrows
What Spongebob movie trailer?
The Spongebob Movie: Sponge Out of Water :3
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TGjbpO1toTc
da booty doe ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Ok, egg breeding. Surely in one of these 5 are female right? (since I took both parents out when I got 3 eggs) Nope, all are male. ._.
how many eggs did it take for shiny yanma. You popped that one out pretty quick. Impressive.
You said pop as if I’m the one giving birth. lol
I didn’t count, but the parent Yanma was level 63 when I got it.
One day to get a 6IV (plus 3 more) and one day to get a shiny.
What are filler episodes in the pokemon anime???
Nothing retaining to the plot
Correction what makes an episode Filler in the pokemon anime
no plot relevance
Anything that is not plot related.
99% of the series
: Like almost every episode is filler XD
In every Season of the anime
People watch Pokémon for the plot? *gasp*
Some people do then complain about how there are too many fillers XD
I have 3 5IV spare Dry Skin Helioptiles. If anyone wants one for their rain team. No egg moves. Timid natured.
#1: x/31/31/31/31/31
#2: 31/31/31/31/31/x
#3: 31/31/31/31/31/x
Hmmm I am wondering Mega Designs for Camerupt and Sharpedo we already know GF will choose a Unique Design nobody would think of and has many people wonder if they like it XD.
That is how it is for most of the megas when I first see it, it looks confusing and I am not sure if I like it
Plot twist: Mega Sharpedo becomes a camel and Mega Camerupt becomes a shark.
Campedo
Sharamel
Sounds like a camp run by a pedophile ._. Not a camp I want to go to.
CAMELNADO!!!!
xD
I just hope they don’t screw me over by making Mega Camerupt a Fire/Rock
Water/fairy confirmed
DJJA! YOUARE BACK
I’ve been back for a while lol
It’s already a Fire Ground type so I don’t see how it’d be a downgrade.
well lets see
Fire/Ground Weaknesses
water 4x Ground 2x
Fire/Rock Weaknesses
water 4x Ground 4x rock 2x fighting x2
OMG THIS IS AMAZING!!!
too high a score though. 30/100? more like 2/100. thats being generous
http://alecrlee92.wordpress.com/2013/10/26/pokemon-genesect-and-the-legend-awakened-review/
dat first line tho (in the actual review, after it says Review Begin:) 😛
That guy is probs 12 XD
he meant his fishing hook :3
He better lel ;3
This movie should be the poster child of how not to make an hour long product placement.
May and Misty Are the two characters who bye far have the most devlopment out of the whole pokemon anime series.
Misty: Goes from a sassy angry child to a more grown up sassy child who is like a mother figure to togepi her love child
May: Goes from a confused pokemon hating introvert to a sociable caring, loving pokemon coordinator who loves all of her pokemon with all of her heart 😀
Agreed. Loving hearts FTW
i would say Dawn HAD alot of Development but not more then Misty and May but she really not that far behind them
Iris was just dead to me
Iris goes bitchy -> slightly less bitchy XD
Dawn did alot tho she was kinda the center of Diamond and Pearl series alot
eh, she was a little. but no where even slightly close to iris
if u look alot of the story centered around Dawn :/ many fans noticed that
nah. She stays the same the whole bw anime
It was a joke lel
What about Dawn? She’s a powerful trainer in her own right. She has a Pachirisu! 😀
…and a ping pong playing Ambipom (at one point in time)
I swear that whole episode was
http://i1.kym-cdn.com/photos/images/newsfeed/000/787/356/d6f.jpg
But she can’t use it like that black haired beauty on VGC
May x misty is confirmed. sakurai plz
In shorts too lel
Credits to Archeops, but this picture about Pokemon World Championships needs no words………………
http://i.imgur.com/hwVPIJ2.png
“you cant predict anything in Pokemon”
this proves it
Pachirisu mega. Miyamoto plz
Pachi gets a mega before the evolution of the mascot would make me laugh my ass off
Raichu is bae but Pachi is Mega bae
I regret not watching the VGC’s 🙁 its not my fault though, I took a pill and its side effects made me feel awful. Chills, head aches, racing heart, dehydration. Not fun. I shouldve just kept my stuffy nose 🙁
Those side effects were me today.
I told you no getting #turnt before driving school
but dood, the colors felt so right.
How about now, can you see the colors now?? ;~;
it sucks doesnt it.

But not AP English Lit. & Spanish V :C
With the appearance of mega audino, that means MEGA ZOROARK CAN BE POSSIBLE :DDD
also hi guys!
Hi Guilmon Ziia!
LOL
hai 😀
I would like Mega Zoroark that would be sooo cool
I made Mega Zoroark Prediced stats it was OP XD
it’d most likely be mixed like lucario’s +_+ I hope it’d be like dark/ghost. that’d be cool~
OMG THAT WAS THE TYPING I DID
maybe if we jinx it enough, IT’LL HAPPENNN
lets say its stats are 9999999 -shot-
ok maybe like a inverted lucario. more special attack than attack but faster than lucario and hopefully lots of new added attacks cause thats one of zoroark’s problems :c
Ooh nice typing. Maybe a new ability, so when he megas he loses the copy
i think it’d be funny if the illusion stays still and screw over people XD but his new ability still activates too
O.o YES
here This is what I did
Dark Ghost
Shadow Tag
135 (+30)
Def: 60
SpA: 160 (+30)
SpD; 60
Spe: 145 (+40)
I like it! XD
I like u lol
shadow tag might get it super quickly banned in smogon though, so he wouldnt have that much time to shine :c maybe he’d get a new ability? like …. making normal moves dark or something
Psh you don’t have to play Smogon rules here and Wifi
who cares
Pachi became OP and smogon is crying
pachi…. -only thinks of pachirisu-
Troo moo, it is Pachirisu
It is Pachirisu
You must of not saw Worlds VGC masters the guy who won main pokemon was Pachirisu
………………. so they automatically think pachirisu is a monsterous ubers pokemon? please tell me youre joking o_e
We are XD
But his Pachirisu is really good just look at some fan art they made just from that guy
With Shadow tag it does ruin you were a mega but it happens too late and the opponent already chose the attack so they are basically done for
but will it mega evolve when it illusion form because ill put a weedle in the back party then mega evolve
yes~
People saying 5th gen wouldnt get megas made me worried..but I see every gen is possible now, except the newest I guess. unless the last one revealed is a 6th gen for the surprise and hype xD
Mega Diancie
Mega Diancie
Beat you 😛
Who cares 😛
Everyone except you

;(
Pulls a Dicie omfg I can’t even XD
But I do acknowledge the fact that I did that in the past 🙂
Pokemon the Movie No. 17 just passed the 2012 film in terms of sixth week grossing. If it keeps up this amazing August run, it could finish anywhere from $35 million USD to $40 million USD. This film just keeps surprising.
The Primal movie will win life
My projection would be around $50 million USD if the Movie No. 17 manages a $40 million USD run.
Why? because Best Wishes sucked.
Yes The Best Wishes movies critical reception was terrible! That’s why the series went downhill and thanks to this savior, it’s back on track!
You guys might be wondering why I keep tabs on the grossing and such. Well, because of the terrible films Generation Five produced, many critics thought that from here on out, the Pokemon films would barely pass the $25 million threshold. This was true for the Pokemon Temple of the Sea movie but Rise of Darkrai proved them wrong. Again, Movie No. 17 proved the critics wrong. I mean, yes, it’s a considerable drop from the $72 million USD grossing by the Zoroark film but just knowing the franchise is back on track feels amazing! 😀
:D!!!!
Not really
Temple of da sea = best movie doe >>
Rood! I don’t have an iPad! Make it for all devices pls
Earthen, what are you talking about? Just now, the anime’s rating began to increase, the movie began to make more than it’s opening weekend, X and Y is still one of the most watched shows in Japan, the critical reception has been stronger, audiences have broadened, the Pokemon franchise is making a second peak.
You said and i quote “You guys might be wondering why I keep tabs on the grossing and such”
and i responded “Not really”
Oh. You should elaborate more on your comments, it’s confusing as I’m not a psychic. I always do that stuff anyways, lol!
