The official Korean Pokémon site has accidentally shown off two previously unseen Mega Evolutions: Mega Slowbro & Mega Audino! According to Serebii Mega Audino’s type is Normal/Fairy and its ability is Healer with its Defense and Sp. Attack being raised, while Mega Slowbro has the ability Shell Armor and higher Defense & Sp. Defense.

Mega slowbro is just another example of the non mega form being better
it’s good that the non mega form will still be viable
the only thing the Mega can do is prevent knock off from doing 97.5 BP. But if you really worry about knock off, just give regular slowbro colbur berry, problem solved. Heck even if they gave the Mega Oblivious, I would at least use him for trick room in doubles so he can’t be taunted.

The main reason for that is people would much rather use something like Mega Pinsir, Medicham or Gardevoir…and still able to use Garchomp which is still viable in base form, unlike the others.

Or Sceptile! I know Fairy-type and Dragon-type will be a problem but try to slow it down or use Electric-type moves! With the right partner it can be a machine!
In doubles if your pair up mega sceptile with Jolteon and use discharge you get wonderful results >:D

I like all the Mega Pokémon in X & Y! Not at first, like everyone I was sceptical about Mega Evolution in the begining but now I like all and I find use to every single one! I guess I’ll have the same thing about the ORAS Mega Pokémon but so far Sceptile – Metagross – Diancie – Swampert – Lopunny – Altaria – Audino (First Gen V Mega) – Salamence – Sableye and Slowbro (This is so far in terms of looks and what we know so far about stats and the rest, may change after I play the games)
